Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang predicts: AI will create more millionaires in five years
CEO
Jensen Huang
recently called AI the 'great technology equaliser of all time'. Speaking at an All-In podcast hosted by American venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, Huang explained that in the era of AI, 'everybody is a programmer'. He further stated that the traditional gatekeeping of coding languages like C++, Python has faded, adding people now just need to talk to AI. 'Everybody is an artist now; everybody is an author now,' Jensen Huang said.
Jensen Huang: 'AI will create more millionaires in 5 years'
During the podcast, Jensen Huang also talked about the impact of AI on jobs. 'AI in my case is creating jobs; it causes people to create things that other people would like to buy. It drives more growth, more jobs, and all that goes together. AI is the greatest technology equaliser of all time,' the Nvidia CEO said.
He forecasted that 'AI will create more millionaires in five years than the internet did in 20,' adding that he is worried that we are not moving fast enough to create jobs. Jensen Huang further warned that those who are not using AI will lose their job to someone with the knowledge of AI.

Huang further predicted that in the future, every country will operate two factories – one physical and other digital. He gave an example of
Elon Musk
's EV company Tesla, saying 'Tesla builds cars in one factory, and in another, it builds the AI that powers them'.
In a related news, Huang discussed the scale of impact that small, focused teams of AI researchers can have and how Nvidia's success has translated into significant financial rewards for those in leadership. 'I've created more billionaires on my management team than any CEO in the world. They're doing just fine. Don't feel sad for anybody at my layer.' Jensen Huang said. He was responding to a question on the effectiveness and value of smaller AI teams.
'But the important big idea is that the impact of 150 or so AI researchers, with funding behind them, can probably create,' he noted. Jensen Huang gave examples of
OpenAI
which originally started with around 150 employees and China's DeepSeek which also has a similar workforce.

LG seeks simplification of business licensing in Delhi
New Delhi: The office of the lieutenant govenor has written to the chief secretary to examine how various sections of two municipal acts, which deal with granting licences to various establishments in MCD and NDMC areas, respectively, can be done away with and the system can be simplified. The letter was sent following a communication from the deregulation cell of the Union Cabinet secretariat, asking LG to cut red tape and bring all permissions required to open a business in the capital under a single-window system. Acknowledging LG's push to ease the licensing framework, the cell advised doing away with health trade, general trade and factory licences issued under Delhi Municipal Corporation Act 1957. These, it said, can be eliminated through a simple notification by LG stating that registration under GST, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) or Factories Act would suffice. Since parts of the city fall under the jurisdiction of New Delhi Municipal Council, the deregulation cell recommended a similar notification under NDMC Act 1994 too. With his communication to chief secretary Dharmendra, LG's principal secretary, Ashish Kundra also shared the letter received from the special secretary in the Cabinet secretariat, KK Pathak, asking the office of the lieutenant governor to roll out reforms to deregulate licensing requirements so that a single-window clearance system can be made to position Delhi as an "investment destination". by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Bai Chay: Unsold Furniture Liquidation 2024 (Prices May Surprise You) Unsold Furniture | Search Ads Learn More Undo You Can Also Check: Delhi AQI | Weather in Delhi | Bank Holidays in Delhi | Public Holidays in Delhi The lieutenant governor "has desired that the administrative department concerned may be directed that the matter be examined and draft notifications be submitted for consideration/approval of the competent authority within three days", the communication stated. The deregulation cell recommended that businesses already registered under GST or FSSAI be exempted from registering separately under Shops and Establishment Act, which is administered by Delhi govt's labour department. It also pitched for bringing approvals from FSSAI, GST, Employees' State Insurance Corporation, fire department and Delhi Pollution Control Committee under a single-window system. The cell described these possible measures as "low-hanging fruits" that can be quickly "fructified" through executive orders or notifications, without the need to amend the existing laws. The push came days after LG VK Saxena cleared a proposal withdrawing Delhi Police's powers to issue licences to seven categories of businesses—swimming pools, eateries, hotels, guesthouses, discotheques, video game parlours, amusement parks and auditoriums. Officials said the deregulation cell studied various laws and held rounds of meetings with officers from Delhi govt, MCD, NDMC, DDA, RERA and the Union housing and urban affairs ministry to map the regulatory maze caused by overlapping agency powers. The final recommendations were shaped by these deliberations and by looking at best practices in other states.

In 2 years, city's 14,907 units in 1,151 buildings declared dangerous
Ahmedabad: As the monsoon intensifies, so does the city's growing risk of structural collapses. In yet another incident, the roof of a house in Payal Flats in the Bodakdev area collapsed on Monday, raising fresh concerns about the safety of residents living in ageing and dilapidated buildings. Just last week, on July 21, a portion of the wash area and balconies from the ground floor up to the fourth floor collapsed in Block A of Suryasagar Apartments in Jodhpur area. No casualties were reported in either case, but residents continue to live under the shadow of risk. These incidents are part of a troubling annual pattern. Each year before the monsoon, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) surveys and identifies buildings deemed unsafe. You Can Also Check: Ahmedabad AQI | Weather in Ahmedabad | Bank Holidays in Ahmedabad | Public Holidays in Ahmedabad In 2024, the AMC declared 9,736 units in 786 buildings as dangerous. In 2025, the number stood at 5,643 units in 390 buildings. Over the last two years, a staggering 14,907 units in 1,151 buildings across the city have been declared structurally unsafe. Among the city's zones, the Northwest Zone reported the highest number of dangerous units — 4,242 in 374 buildings. The Eastern Zone followed with 4,799 units in 327 buildings, while the Central Zone accounted for 939 units in 317 buildings. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo An AMC official, requesting anonymity, stated, "We identify old and structurally compromised buildings and issue notices to residents. In many cases, residents are asked to vacate, but they refuse until redevelopment is approved. In severely dangerous cases, buildings are sealed and forcibly vacated. We have also carried out demolitions before this monsoon." Sources within AMC also highlighted legal and logistical hurdles. "In the old city, frequent collapses have claimed lives. Though strict measures are taken, tenant-owner disputes often delay evacuation. This year, before the Rath Yatra, demolitions were carried out in several areas. In western Ahmedabad, old societies are also deteriorating, and redevelopment efforts are underway. Some Gujarat Housing Board colonies are also in poor condition, with redevelopment approved for a few and under process for others. " Despite multiple tragedies in the past, enforcement of safety regulations remains weak. Following several fatal collapses, the state govt mandated structural stability certificates for all buildings over 15 years old. However, compliance has largely been symbolic, with notices issued but little actual enforcement. Ahmedabad has witnessed several deadly building collapses in recent decades. On Feb 3, 2008, the Shakunt Hotel near Kalupur railway station collapsed, killing 16 people and injuring nine. On Jan 28, 2011, a building in Sodagar's Pol, Kalupur, collapsed, resulting in five deaths. In 2018, a housing block in Odhav collapsed, killing one person. In 2019, a house in Amraiwadi's Bungalow Chali caved in, claiming three lives. On Dec 30, 2014, the state govt approved Ahmedabad's GDCR, introducing a strict provision for structural stability certificates for all buildings over 15 years old. Inspections were mandated, but enforcement by AUDA and the municipal corporation have been lacking 2. Structural stability inspections and certificate submissions to AUDA or the municipal corporation are not conducted within the stipulated time, leaving the rule unimplemented 3. On July 6, 2024, a six-storied building collapsed in Sachin Pali village, Surat, claiming seven lives. The municipal corporation issued a public notice to enforce the structural stability certificate rule, but was not enforced 4. The 2014 GDCR and 2017 CGDCR include provisions for structural stability certificates. According to Schedule 17 of CGDCR Class 1 buildings include all types of framed structures, factory buildings, special buildings, educational buildings, schools, colleges, hostels, and other public buildings. Class 2 building includes masonry-walled residential buildings over 10m high 5. According to CGDCR, all Class 1 buildings must submit a structural stability certificate within 3 years after completing 15 years, while Class 2 buildings must do so within 5 years 6. On Aug 17, 2024, the city municipal commissioner directed all buildings over 15 years old to undergo inspection by a structural engineer and submit structural stability certificate

5-yr cumulative FDI into Gujarat crosses 3.4L cr
Ahmedabad: Gujarat's cumulative foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows since Oct 2019 crossed Rs 3.47 lakh crore, cementing the state's position as India's third-largest FDI recipient after Maharashtra and Karnataka, according to the latest data released by the department for promotion of industry and internal trade (DPIIT). However, fresh FDI inflows into the state declined sharply in FY 2024–25. Gujarat attracted Rs 47,947 crore in new investments during the year — a 21% drop from Rs 60,600 crore in FY24. The fresh inflow figures are computed based on the difference between annual cumulative figures. The dip comes after two consecutive years of strong post-pandemic recovery, where fresh inflows jumped 84% and 63% respectively. Industry experts are clear that the inflows continued, just the growth slowed, and that is largely attributed to geopolitical factors. Govt officials and industry observers attributed the drop in FY25 inflows to delayed project clearances, cautious investor sentiment globally, and political transitions in key economies. Every major market is navigating its own set of challenges, which naturally slowed decision-making for foreign investors. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You To Read in 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo That said, year-on-year comparisons can be misleading. Investment efforts often span multiple years, and when viewed over a three-year horizon, Gujarat's FDI growth remains robust," said Pathik Patwari, president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Gujarat chapter. From Oct 2019 to March 2025, Gujarat's total FDI inflows reached Rs 3.47 lakh crore. This includes major investments across semiconductors, green energy, chemicals, and financial services. The state's industrial base, policy continuity, and port-led logistics continue to drive investor interest despite near-term volatility. Maharashtra and Karnataka lead the cumulative rankings with Rs 6.9 lakh crore and Rs 4.5 lakh crore respectively. Gujarat accounts for about 16.5% of India's total FDI inflows in this period. While global economic headwinds led to a general softening of fresh FDI across several Indian states, Gujarat is expected to stay competitive due to its early-mover advantage in emerging sectors such as semiconductors and green hydrogen.
