Eamonn Holmes has reportedly gushed over his girlfriend Katie Alexander.
The GB News presenter, 65, began dating the marriage counsellor, 43, at the end of last year after his split from Loose Women star Ruth Langsford following 14 years of marriage.
According to Bella magazine, the presenter even called Katie his 'soulmate' at GB News star Nana Akua's engagement party earlier this month.
He reportedly added: 'In sickness you find out who is there for you.'
'It was an insensitive comment from Eamonn, but he's smitten with Katie and does feel like she has been there for him through the hard times,' a source told The Mirror.
'That said, it is a kick in the teeth for Ruth because she has been there for him since the beginning.'
The Standard has contacted a representative of Eamonn Holmes for comment,
Eamonn been has been battling health issues for years after dislodging discs in his back which he said previously impinged on his sciatic nerve and affected the mobility of his right leg.
In March, the presenter told his followers he is in constant pain.
"Even when the sun shines there's pain,' he said, sharing a selfie to his 782,000 followers.
"Sometimes I feel I'll never beat this disc immobility but I'm determined to have a life.
'So pray for me, help me or get out of the way social media haters.'
He has frequently been pictured either in a wheelchair or relying on walking aids and turned to various therapies to aid his rehabilitation.
And posting a throwback snap on social media in May, Eamonn said a picture of him broadcasting made him upset as he now can't walk.
'Great picture popped up from 3 years but it's made me sad - I could walk,' he wrote. 'Got to redouble my efforts.'
Last year, Eamonn and his ex-partner Ruth Langsford confirmed that they were set to divorce after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together.
Issuing a joint statement, a spokesperson for the former couple - who share one grown-up son - said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY – Our First FULL Look at Tom Holland's Amazing New Suit! — GeekTyrant

Spider-Man is back, and he's rocking a whole new vibe. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures just dropped the first full look at Tom Holland's latest Spider-suit for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a new video, and it's sure to get fans excited! The suit made a brief appearance in yesterday's teaser, but now we've got the full reveal, and it's designed with a clear nod to the suits worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, this version brings together the designs of both Spidey worlds. There's the deep, matte red, the navy blue mesh texture reminiscent of Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 , and the raised black webbing that channels the Raimi-era aesthetic. Right in the center, the spider emblem is larger and more angular, combining classic boldness with the sleek lines seen in Holland's earlier MCU appearances. The suit also looks like it's more homemade and there's no Stark tech. No gadgets, no AI, just Peter Parker doing it all on his own. It's a perfect reflection of where the character is now. As you know, Peter was stripped of his identity after the memory wipe in Spider-Man: No Way Home , and starting over without his former support system. Set photos have already started popping up online, with production kicking off in Glasgow, Scotland, once again subbing in for New York City. Keep your eyes peeled, because more glimpses of the new suit are sure to surface. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. Returning writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are handling the script, which reportedly takes Peter back to being a street-level hero in NYC. The movie is said to be relatively standalone but is expected to set the stage for next December's massive crossover Avengers: Doomsday . The film's cast is stacked alongside Holland, featuring Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando. Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters July 31, 2026. Check out the video below and let us know what you think of the new suit!

Statue of Birmingham City legend Francis unveiled

A bronze statue of former Birmingham City and England forward Trevor Francis has been unveiled at the club's St Andrews stadium to honour his legacy. The former striker died of a heart attack at the age of 69 in 2023 and the statue was unveiled on Saturday ahead of the Trevor Francis Memorial pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest, another of his former clubs. A friend of the footballer and lifelong Blues supporter, Brummie comedian Jasper Carrott, was at the unveiling. He said it was "a very emotional day". Carrott said Francis had been "more than just a footballer", adding he was a fantastic human being and it had been a "privilege" to know him. Several former teammates who played alongside Francis were also there as club chief executive Jeremy Dale unveiled the statue, created by sculptor Douglas Jennings. "He wasn't just a footballer, he was our footballer," Dale said. "Trevor, speaking personally , was my boyhood hero. He was the kind of player who made you fall in love with the beautiful game." Speaking of Francis in his time as manager of the Blues, he said he gave people "pride, passion and a belief that this club could rise". Francis made his debut for Birmingham as a 16-year-old and became British football's first £1m player when he left the Blues to join Forest in 1979. A few weeks later, he scored the winning goal as Forest won the first of their two successive European Cups. Garry Birtles, who played alongside Francis at Nottingham Forest, described him as "one of the most unassuming people you could ever meet" and "a joy to be with". Jasper Carrott hosted a sell-out memorial concert in to honour Francis as "a proper send-off" for his friend at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham earlier this year. Money raised went to the Trevor Francis Foundation, part of the Birmingham City Foundation, to fund two football tournaments for local children.
