"Ohio's for lovers": Travis Kelce takes Taylor Swift home to Ohio: Are wedding bells quietly being planned behind closed doors?
Taylor Swift
and
Travis Kelce
are making the most of their rare downtime together, shifting from flashing cameras and roaring stadiums to simple, meaningful moments far away from the spotlight. Their latest outing — a lunch date in the heart of Kelce's hometown — is a perfect example of how their relationship is blossoming in privacy.
Taylor Swift joins Travis Kelce in
Ohio
for 'wonderful' hometown lunch date
On July 1, the duo was spotted enjoying a relaxed lunch at JoJo's Bar in Chagrin Falls, Ohio — a quiet suburb near Cleveland Heights, where Kelce grew up. While the
NFL
star went for a laid-back look in a striped blue shirt, Swift brought her signature grace in a white button-up shirt, pleated skirt, and her blonde ponytail perfectly tied. The couple managed to skip the main entrance altogether, choosing a discreet side door connected to the Inn of Chagrin to maintain their privacy.
JoJo's Bar, an upscale Italian-American steakhouse opened in 2021, holds a personal connection for Kelce. His mother, Donna Kelce, is a regular there, making this spot feel all the more familiar for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Restaurant manager John Ponyicky told People, 'Taylor and Travis came in and had a wonderful time. They had a great lunch, enjoyed our food, and were really impressed with the team.' He also revealed, 'Travis grew up in Cleveland Heights, so he decided to visit somewhere he was familiar with.
He and Taylor were both really pleasant.'
Fans, of course, were quick to react when photos emerged of the couple inside the restaurant. One lucky diner confirmed seeing Swift seated with two others, and later confirmed Kelce's presence during the intimate gathering. Staff at JoJo's were clearly taken aback but chose not to disturb the peace. As co-manager Ryan Schwartz explained, 'Of course, she had her security detail with her, so we chose as a restaurant group to kind of just respect her privacy.

This cozy Ohio lunch date isn't just another pitstop. According to insiders, these quiet moments between the couple are becoming more frequent and deeply meaningful.
'They're incredibly happy and in sync. There's a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that's been really grounding for Taylor and Travis,' shared a source.
Their schedule has recently allowed them to steal more quality time together, alternating between New York City outings, Nashville visits with Swift's family, and short, under-the-radar getaways. 'This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it's really allowed their bond to deepen,' the insider added.
Though Swift hasn't performed in Cleveland since her 2018 Reputation Tour and skipped it during her Eras Tour, she's now making memories in the region thanks to Kelce. Whether or not a future tour date brings her back, one thing's certain — Taylor Swift is officially part of Kelce's hometown story.

Not Deepika Padukone, Sabu Dastagir was the first Indian actor to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the most prestigious honours a performer can receive — a permanent symbol of success embedded in Hollywood Boulevard, surrounded by legends. So, when it was announced that Indian actor Deepika Padukone would be awarded a star on the Walk of Fame in 2026 in the Motion Pictures category, it felt like a personal win for many and fans quickly dubbed her the first Indian to ever receive the honour. But that's not entirely true. Sabu Dastagir and Deepika Padukone side by side While Deepika's achievement is historic in many ways, she is not the first Indian to be immortalised on Hollywood Boulevard. That honour goes to a forgotten icon of classic cinema: Sabu Dastagir, a Mysore-born actor who made his Hollywood debut in the 1930s and went on to become a sensation. Sabu was inducted into the Walk of Fame in Hollywood's golden age in 1960, a full six decades before Deepika's name would be announced. Born in 1924 to a mahout family (elephant trainers), Sabu's journey to Hollywood was nothing short of cinematic itself. Sabu Dastagir in Mowgli, inspired by The Jungle Book He was allegedly discovered by American filmmaker Robert Flaherty, who cast him in the 1937 British film Elephant Boy, based on author Rudyard Kipling's Toomai of the Elephants. With his natural screen presence, Sabu quickly became a staple of Hollywood's fantasy-adventure genre, starring in films like The Drum (1938), The Thief of Bagdad (1940) and Arabian Nights (1942). Sabu's star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame By the early 1940s, Sabu was one of the most recognisable non-white faces in Western cinema, carving a space for himself long before diversity became a buzzword. He became an American citizen in 1944 and even served in the U.S. Army during World War II. However, post-war, Sabu's career began to stall. Roles dried up. He moved to Europe, starring in lesser-known films. In 1957, he was reportedly in talks to star in Mother India, but was unable to secure a work permit. The role went to Sunil Dutt. He died tragically young in the early 1960s, at the age of 39, from a heart attack, his legacy quietly buried in a Hollywood that had moved on. Now, as Deepika rightfully takes her place among the global greats, it's worth taking a moment to remember the young Indian actor who came before her — wide-eyed and ready to conquer the silver screen with nothing but charm.

Deepika Padukone's honour is big, but she's not 1st Indian on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Actor Deepika Padukone has been named one of the 2025 inductees to the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame, as announced by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday evening. Deepika, known internationally for her role in 'XXX: The Return of Xander Cage', will soon have her own star on the iconic boulevard. While the news sparked excitement and pride in India, some mistakenly claimed she's the first Indian to receive this honour. However, that title belongs to a largely forgotten star from over 60 years ago - Sabu born in 1924 in Mysore, was the son of an elephant mahout. He was discovered by American filmmaker Robert Flaherty and made his debut in 'Elephant Boy' (1937), a film based on Rudyard Kipling's writing. Sabu moved to Hollywood shortly after and quickly became a sensation with lead roles in major films like 'The Drum' (1938), 'The Thief of Bagdad' (1940), 'Arabian Nights', 'White Savage', and 'Cobra Woman'. As a teenager, he became one of the most recognisable Indian actors in Hollywood, especially popular for his roles in fantasy and adventure 1944, Sabu became an American citizen and even served in the US Army during World War II. However, his stardom faded after the war. In the 1950s, he appeared mostly in lesser-known European films. He was once considered for the lead in Mehboob Khan's 'Mother India' (1957), but couldn't secure a work permit. It was in 1960, during the peak of Hollywood's golden era, when Sabu Dastagir was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sabu died young in 1963 at the age of 39, having never acted in an Indian film. While Deepika's inclusion in the 2025 Walk of Fame celebrates the growing global presence of Indian actors, it's worth remembering Sabu Dastagir - the original Indian trailblazer in Hollywood. Over the years, several Indian actors have left their mark in the West, from Kabir Bedi and Om Puri to Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and now Deepika Padukone.- EndsTrending Reel
