Bigg Boss 17's Ayesha Khan Says ‘I Feel Ugly Today,' Urges Fans To Show Themselves Compassion

Ayesha Khan opens up about feeling ugly in an emotional Instagram story and urges fans to practice self-love and kindness during low moments. Actress Ayesha Khan, who shot to fame after her explosive wildcard entry in Bigg Boss 17—where she publicly confronted ex-boyfriend Munawar Faruqui—recently took to social media to share a deeply personal and vulnerable moment with her fans. In a candid Instagram Story posted early Sunday morning, Ayesha admitted to struggling with her self-image. 'I don't know how to express this, but I feel ugly today," she wrote. 'I just wanted to write it and let it out. And to anyone who feels the same on certain days, umeed karti hu ke aap khud ke sath bhi utni hi narmi se pesh aayenge jitni narmi se hum ek bacche ke sath pesh aate hain. It is hard to love yourself on some days, but if we don't, who else will?" Her heartfelt words resonated with many, especially those navigating similar moments of self-doubt. Known for speaking her mind, Ayesha once again reminded her followers of the importance of self-compassion and emotional honesty. Most recently, Ayesha starred in Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei, a finite-format drama produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey under their banner Dreamiyata Dramaa. The show explored the emotional chaos of love and infidelity, with Ayesha playing Nikki—a woman who, despite yearning for a love marriage, is pushed into an arranged alliance with Ishaan (played by Karan V Grover). When that relationship fails to meet her emotional needs, Nikki finds herself drawn into an affair with Akshay (Chirag Khatri). While the series received appreciation for its performances and bold storytelling, it also sparked debate for its take on extramarital relationships. Apart from Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei, Ayesha was also seen in Jaat, opposite Sunny Deol, and is currently working on a project with Sunny Kaushal and Ashish Verma. Through the highs and lows of fame and storytelling, Ayesha's unfiltered moment reminds us that even in the public eye, self-love can be a daily challenge—and kindness towards oneself is a form of quiet courage.
