HUAWEI has announced the launch of the FreeBuds 6, highlighting a major improvement in call quality for users in noisy environments.
The company revealed that the earbuds come with advanced call noise cancellation. This feature is designed to keep voices clear, even in locations with noise levels up to 95dB similar to a packed movie theatre or live concert.
Users often struggle to be heard during calls in loud places such as gyms or clubs. The FreeBuds 6 aims to solve that. HUAWEI reported that even during high-energy activities like Zumba, the voice on the other end of the call remains crisp and clear.
The standout innovation is the VPU bone conduction microphone. Instead of relying only on external mics, the system detects micro-vibrations through the user's facial bones. Since these signals are unaffected by ambient noise, the earbuds can isolate the speaker's voice more effectively.
Additionally, the FreeBuds 6 features an upgraded AI noise cancellation algorithm. This algorithm processes sound from multiple microphones to improve performance and clarity during calls.
The earbuds also include Active Noise Cancellation, a notable feature given their open-fit design. This means users can both hear and be heard clearly, even in busy settings.
• Voice remains clear even in environments as loud as 95dB
• Bone conduction mic enhances voice detection over background noise
HUAWEI's new model also offers Dual Driver acoustics. This delivers a wide range of sound from crisp highs to deep, resonant lows.
The company emphasized that the FreeBuds 6 is engineered to deliver an uninterrupted calling experience, regardless of background noise.
