Amazon Prime Day is set to commence next week, but there's one thing shoppers need to do before the global shopping event kicks off on July 8. The sales bonanza will see thousands of products discounted until the event concludes on July 11, however these deals are exclusively for Amazon Prime Members.
This includes those with Amazon Prime monthly, annual and free trial memberships, Prime for Students, and Amazon Family. Shoppers who aren't yet Prime members can sign up for a free 30-day Prime Trial here to ensure they can participate in the four-day sale.
Customers who aren't Prime members can still purchase Amazon products throughout next week, but they'll have to pay the standard retail prices. Prime Video members must upgrade to a full Prime membership before they can take advantage of the deals.
As reported by the Mirror, Prime members not only get exclusive deals during Prime week, but they can also bag great discounts all year round. Members can also enjoy free next day delivery on a variety of products, plus they have access to Prime Video and Music.
Shoppers with a Prime membership can also set up app notifications to ensure they don't miss out on deals on products they have recently searched for. Members can also set up a Wish List containing their must-have items, and if they go on sale, they will be the first to know.
That's not all, as Amazon's AI shopping assistant, Rufus, is on hand to help. This handy bot helps members shop smarter and plan better by providing product details, expert advice, and personalised suggestions.

Amazon isn't the only retailer currently offering deals via a sale, with Debenhams' blue cross sale offering up to 75% off on garden, home and fashion items. Dunelm is offering a massive clearance sale that includes discounts on bedding, curtains, and various homeware items, plus some garden furniture.
Although this year's summer Prime Day sale is yet to kick off, there are already some fantastic offers available. Amidst the recent UK heatwaves, consumers may find relief with the Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Portable Fan now available for £99, down from £129.99.

This gadget features an airflow range of 20 metres and can be used indoors or outdoors in several colour options. An Amazon customer praised the fan, saying: "Lightweight, powerful, the misting function works better than expected. Sleep easily with it on speed setting three - quiet running. Like that it's handheld and runs on a battery. Well worth the money."
However, they also expressed disappointment: "Only disappointment was the fact I paid £129.99 and then the next day Amazon reduced the price to £99.99. I was tempted to send this one back and reorder it to save £30."
Another impressive discount on Amazon is the £100 off the Samsung Galaxy S10 FE Android Tablet, now priced at £399, which boasts a 10.9-inch display, 128GB storage, 8GB memory, and includes an S Pen.
One buyer was disappointed with the preinstalled software on their new tablet, remarking: "I really don't like a lot of the software already installed on it."
Yet another purchaser is overjoyed with their gadget, sharing: "It's fast and the screen is very clear. I'm a huge fan of Samsung products and I am thrilled with this tablet."
The Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer is the latest item Amazon has slashed in price. For a brief period, savvy shoppers can get their hands on the 8.3L air fryer for £99.99, down from the standard £179.99.

Wimbledon ace's net worth way bigger than King Charles and David and Victoria Beckham combined

Wimbledon ace's net worth way bigger than King Charles and David and Victoria Beckham combined David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, are thought to be worth £500million, while King Charles has a fortune of around £640m – but a Wimbledon star is worth far more than both combined King Charles III and David Beckham each have an astonishing net worth (Image: WPA Pool, Getty Images ) Jessica Pegula's net worth is five times greater than that of Sir David Beckham and King Charles III combined, despite the fact she has yet to secure a Grand Slam title. Beckham, a legend of Manchester United and English football, was knighted for his contributions to football and charitable work, as announced in the King's Birthday Honours list last month. The 50-year-old has amassed a considerable fortune from his exploits both on and off the pitch. ‌ Together with his wife, Victoria Beckham, the former midfielder has accumulated a net worth of approximately £500million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. While a large chunk of Beckham's wealth stems from his professional football career, his post-playing ventures such as his DRJB Holdings company have also significantly bolstered his finances. ‌ Victoria, on the other hand, first gained fame with the Spice Girls, who remain the best-selling female group of all time, before transitioning into the fashion industry. Their combined wealth is just £140m short of King Charles III's reported private net worth of £640m. Together, the Beckhams and England's monarch have a total net worth of just over £1billion, yet this pales in comparison to the fortune Pegula stands to inherit, reports the Express. This is because the WTA world No. 3 is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, owners of the Buffalo Bills in the NFL, the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL, and the Buffalo Bandits in the NLL. Article continues below Terry and Kim Pegula have an incredible fortune (Image: Bill Wippert, NHLI via Getty Images ) While Jessica has amassed an impressive £13m in career prize money through her own tennis achievements, it's a drop in the ocean in comparison to the staggering £5.1bn inheritance she is set to receive from her parents. Her father, Terry, made his fortune in the oil industry, working for Getty Oil and Felmont Oil Co before establishing East Resources, a company specialising in natural gas drilling. He later sold assets from Pennsylvania, New York and the Rocky Mountain areas to Royal Dutch Shell for a whopping £3.4bn. The 74-year-old then sold the Ohio and West Virginia assets of the company to American Energy Partners for another £1.2bn. ‌ Pegula had high hopes of securing her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon this summer, but unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. The 31-year-old didn't make it past the first round at SW19 in the singles competition, suffering a 6-2, 6-3 defeat to Elisabetta Cocciaretto on Tuesday. Jessica Pegula is worth a fortune (Image: Getty ) Since she didn't participate in the doubles or mixed doubles events, her tournament journey has now ended. However, the New York-born star has previously come tantalisingly close to major victory. Article continues below Pegula has reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open three times in the singles competition, and also made it to the same stage once each at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023 respectively. However, her most impressive Grand Slam performance was at last year's US Open, where Pegula reached the final. Regrettably, victory eluded her. In the decisive match, she was thwarted by WTA No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who clinched a 7-5, 7-5 win, denying Pegula her first major title. Her attention will now shift to next month's US Open.

Noise-cancelling headphones with ‘immense battery life' are slashed by 39%

If you're looking for a new pair of headphones, Amazon has slashed the price of a noise-cancelling pair with 'immense battery life' in an early Prime Day deal Wireless headphones have quickly become an essential for many, especially due to the current WFH era we're living in. However, brands such as Apple, Beats and Sony can see prices rise up to £500 for a pair. Luckily for us, Amazon has slashed the price of a noise-cancelling pair from Anker by almost 40%. Origianlly priced at £89.99, the Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling Headphones from Soundcore by Anker are now 39% off at £54.99. Whether you're looking for a pair of headphones for the morning commute, after-work runs or for getting your head down in the office, this pair offers a 98% noise reduction capability, all thanks its adaptive noise cancelling feature that can detect external sounds, meaning you can work all day long disruption free. These headphones also feature an impressive 40 hours of playtime, making them great for long days or journeys when you don't want to worry about your battery draining. Shoppers have been praising these headphones for their sound quality and battery life, with thousands of five star reviews. One reviewer wrote: "This is the best one I've ever had. Not only does it charge quickly and have a long battery life. The noise cancelling is fantastic and you can adjust it via the app. You can also take a hearing test so it can set up the best levels for your own hearing range. I'm absolutely blown away with how good it is". While a second added: "I am blown away by how good these are. I'm sure that these probably won't compare to the high end alternatives but these are as good (if not better) than my Sony pair. They're extremely comfortable to wear, the audio is clear and enjoyable and set up was a breeze. I haven't tried the ANC yet but I have high hopes." The main criticism came from shoppers who argued the sound quality is not comparable to more expensive headphones on the market from Beats and Apple. However, considering the cost is far cheaper, this an expected criticism. If you are looking for a pair of wireless earphones to watch TV shows and movies, Sony's WF-C510 Truly Wireless Earbuds, £39 are a great option. They've been hailed by shoppers for having a great connection anywhere and providing clear, crisp audio. Looking to splash out on a pair? Bose is offering £50 off their Ultra Open Earbuds making them £249.95 here. Ideal for a payday treat, customers 'can't recommend them enough'.

Shoppers say 'move over Baileys' after trying Tesco's award-winning Irish cream

Coole Swan, the award-winning Irish cream liqueur, is now available for £20 in selected Tesco stores with a Tesco Clubcard, down from £26.50. Some people say it's better than Baileys Fans of Irish cream know the simple pleasure of unwinding on a summer evening with a glass of something smooth, creamy and indulgent. The brand that immediately comes to mind is, of course, a cult classic Baileys but there's another bottle that our very own shopping editor highly recommends that rivals it in taste - and it's currently on offer at Tesco. Coole Swan, the acclaimed Irish cream liqueur, is now available for just £20 in selected Tesco stores with a Tesco Clubcard, down from its usual price of £26.50. Cheaper than Amazon's price of £25.95, it's a saving of £6.50 on a drink that some people are saying is 'like Baileys, but better. Made with single-malt Irish whiskey, Belgian white chocolate, and fresh dairy cream from the brand's family farm in Ireland, Coole Swan is a true testament to high-quality ingredients and careful blending. In fact, one customer said it's in a 'different league' to other drinks - quite the compliment. It's not just customers who are marvelling at this concoction - the drink has also won prestigious awards. This includes Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and being named the #1 Irish cream liqueur by Tasting Table, reports the Manchester Evening News. Testing it alongside Baileys, a long-standing favourite, Narin explained: "Putting the two glasses next to each other, it's easy to see one of the key differences in ingredients reflected in the colour of the glorious nectars. Coole Swan's Belgian white chocolate origins give it a lighter colour than Baileys' rumoured milk chocolate blend. You'd imagine that Coole Swan, being white chocolate-based, would taste sweeter, but to my surprise - and possibly due to the strength of the malt -it tasted more mellow, smoother, and had less of an initial kick. "While I love Baileys, for me, the taste comes in stages - you have the initial sweet scent and then the first hit of warmth when you swallow, and then it's eased by the cream that extinguishes the fire. Coole Swan has all of the same elements, but somehow they blend in a way where you get them all simultaneously - there's no fiery undertone and no sweet hit; it's just all beautifully, perfectly balanced from the first sip." Narin added: "Both drinks have a similar alcohol volume - Baileys is 17% while Coole Swan is 16% ABV - but Coole Swan feels less boozy, making it drinkable to the point of moreish. But for me, there's one thing that makes Coole Swan a next-level Irish cream choice and worth the slightly more expensive price tag." There are a large number of equally as delicious alternatives on the market with similar price tags, such as Hotel Chocolat's Espresso Martini flavoured vodka liqueur priced at £23, often compared to a decadent liquid tiramisu, and Micil Connemara Irish Cream Liqueur which is slightly pricier at £27.67. However Coole Swan has over 1,200 glowing reviews and an impressive 4.7-star average on Amazon. Likewise, Tesco customers have lavished a stellar 4.7 out of five stars upon the liqueur. One happy Coole Swan customer shared their testimony and said: "This is so beautiful, creamy and a better class of liqueur. Move over, Baileys, there's a new drink in town." For one customer, it wasn't quite their cup of tea as they noted: "Nice drink but too sweet." That being said, fans of the drink have been singing its praises with another shopper raving: "The most delicious Irish cream liqueur I have ever tasted. Creamy, luxuriously smooth and very moreish. The taste of alcohol is not overwhelming either, which I find with Baileys and other Irish creams. Don't think I could go back to anything else after trying this; the only downside is the price." Coole Swan is available here.
