Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) launched its new big bike, the 2025 Honda CB750 Hornet, in the country just a few days back. This comes as part of the brand's revised strategy for the big bikes that includes a slew of launches. The new Honda CB750 Hornet was launched last month at ₹ 859.500 (ex-showroom). Available through the BigWing Topline and BigWing dealerships, the motorcycle is slated to be delivered to customers from this month.

The 2025 Honda CB750 Hornet is equipped with a host of features. The list includes all-LED lights, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel ABS, HSTC or Honda Selectable Torque Control, and four different ride modes- Sport, Standard, Rain, and User.

India Yamaha Motor has launched the 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 in India, featuring major tech upgrades and fresh colour options to strengthen its position in the premium 150cc street-naked motorcycle segment. Priced from ₹1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike is available in two variants: STD and DLX, the latter starting at ₹1.80 lakh. The latest MT-15 now comes equipped with a colour TFT screen that supports Turn-by-Turn Navigation, a first for the model, along with upgraded Bluetooth connectivity through Yamaha's Y-Connect mobile app. Riders can access features such as maintenance updates, fuel consumption data, malfunction alerts, parking location, and even a rider ranking system. Yamaha has also introduced three new colour options — Ice Storm and Vivid Violet Metallic for the DLX variant, and Metallic Silver Cyan for the standard version — aimed at younger, urban riders. Powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), the MT-15 produces 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It features a 6-speed gearbox with Assist & Slipper Clutch and is now equipped with Traction Control for enhanced safety. A MotoGP-inspired aluminium swingarm, Delta Box frame, and lightweight 141 kg body offer better stability and agility. 'The 2025 update reflects our commitment to addressing customer expectations with advanced features and new youthful colours,' said Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has formally unleashed two hot new twins- the sporty CB125 Hornet and the more common sense kind, Shine 100 DX, which are due to revolutionise urban commuting in India. The CB125 Hornet has an aggressive style and superior features aimed at the young and fashionable customers at a price of 1,12,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The motorcycle is first-in-segment gold in colour USD front forks, muscular fuel tank, fashionable muffler and has four daring dual-toned colour schemes. It features a 4.2 inch TFT touchscreen that has Honda RoadSync navigational capability via Bluetooth and it can also be used to make calls and as SMS alert. Fuel injected 123.94 ccc engine gives 8.2 kW of power, 11.2 Nm of torque and it accelerates to 60 km/h after 5.4 seconds. Shine 100 DX is sold at 74,959 rupees and offers top-notch design and usability to daily commuters. It is a version of the Honda that is equipped with their eSP technology and has a 98.98cc engine capable of producing 5.43 kW power and 8.04 Nm torque. This is a model that is accompanied with an electronic mileage bearing LCD reading which also eclipses Service reminders and distance to empty. It has got telescopic forks, CBS braking, and comfortable long sitting, which suits the Indian road conditions. The two bikes are OBD2B and highly fuel economical. Online booking is available now as well as at Honda dealers and delivery will commence mid-August 2025. These launches support Honda on its mission of being an innovative, safe, and customer-oriented motorcycle producer-illustrating the highest of motorcycles, whether to be passionate or practical.

Ather Energy has launched a new 3.7kWh battery variant, priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This version now matches the range of the top-end 450X, offering an IDC-certified 161km range on a single charge. This move smartly fills the gap between the base 450S 2.9kWh and the premium 450X 3.7kWh, giving customers a middle ground in both performance and price. Performance Under the sleek frame, the scooter carries the same 5.4kW motor that churns out 22Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 3.9 seconds. The scooter also offers four riding modes — Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport. Design The design remains unchanged. The sharp styling, LED headlamp, and premium finish stay consistent with the rest of the 450 range. Features The new 450S packs a 7-inch display with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, auto brightness, and AtherStack Pro compatibility. Safety features include AutoHold, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, and even Alexa voice integration. Also, charging the scooter from 0 to 80 percent takes 4.5 hours using a home charger. When Can You Get It? Bookings are now open both online and at Ather's showrooms.
