‘Building the Band' Trailer: Netflix Puts ‘Love Is Blind' Spin on Singing Competition Series

Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls will act as a mentor to the contestants as well as the judge. Joining her as guest judges are Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child and the late Liam Payne of One Direction. Payne's family was consulted on the series and endorsed his inclusion.
Cat Lawson, Alison Holloway, Katrina Morrison, Clara Elliot and Simon Crossley serve as executive producers. The show was produced by Remarkable Entertainment and Banijay UK.
'Building the Band' will premiere in three batches across three weeks. The first four episodes will debut on July 9. An additional three episodes will be released on July 16. The final three episodes will premiere on July 23.

Owner Cedd Moses shared with Eater that the outpouring of support in the last month will enable the 117-year-old restaurant to remain open for another 45 days. Cole's originally announced that its final day of service would be August 3, 2025. Cole's final day is now in mid-September. People are longing to say goodbye to LA's oldest restaurant. Since the news was announced on July 7, steady lines have formed in front of Cole's hours before it opens. Many are eager to try a French dip from one of two restaurants claiming to have invented the dish (Chinatown's Philippe the Original also makes this assertion). Whatever side one lands on, the consensus is that Cole's is a Los Angeles cultural institution. A local advocacy group shares this belief and acted on behalf of Cole's to help extend its final closing date. That group includes the DTLA Residents Association, the Independent Hospitality Coalition, Historic Core BID, Central City Association, and the DTLA Alliance.
