The now-viral video shows Dhoni offering humorous marital advice, which has attracted the internet's interest, with social media users amazed by his comedic timing. The Chennai Super Kings player was attending the wedding of Utkarsh Sanghvi and Dhvani Kanungo, where he took to the stage and shared relatable insights about marriage.
"Marriage is a very good thing. You were the one in a hurry to do it. Some people like to play with fire. He's one of them," said Dhoni in Hindi.
"Now Utkarsh also has this illusion. My answer is the same as always. Every husband here is in the same boat. It hardly matters whether you've won a World Cup or not. If your husband is angry, don't say anything in that moment. We cool down in 5 minutes. We know our power," he added.
Concluding his message, Dhoni said: "Actually, these jokes - men laugh more. I don't know why. All the very best and congratulations."
While stepping down the stage, the crowd, akin to any stadium across the world, started chanting "Dhoni! Dhoni!".

The movie didn't get the required showcasing, and above that, the world of mouth of the movie was mixed to negative, resulting in no substantial weekend growth. On Monday, the movie dropped by over 60 percent, to add Rs 2.75 - 3 crore net. The total collections of the movie stand at Rs 27.50 crore and the week 1 heads for Rs 35 crore. The movie won't be able to capitalise on the open week 2 and a lifetime number of under Rs 50 crore net won't be surprising. New heroes emerge in every game - players who refuse to accept defeat. They turn crises into opportunities and deliver sterling performances. These narratives linger long after the match is over. Swami Parthasarathy of the Vedanta Academy, Pune, says three things are of primary importance if you wish to attain success in the game of cricket or in life: concentration, consistency and cooperation. You can concentrate only when the mind is with the action. It shouldn't be in the past or the future. The most intriguing aspect of cricket is that there are dry spells a player must factor into their career. A player may excel at batting or bowling, but there may come a time when they go out of form, and past glories are forgotten.
