According to Galveston County court documents, Edward possessed material that visually depicted a child younger than 18-years-old at the time. The image of the child was made, engaging in sexual conduct, namely sexual intercourse and deviating sexual intercourse.
Court records went into further details, saying the victim, identified as Jane Doe, was molested by Edwards when she was in the sixth grade, approximately 12-years-old. The sexual assault continued until January 2025. Jane Doe claims the molestation went from touching to full vaginal penetration by Edward's penis. The defendant claims that over the past year, Edwards had sex with her about 85-100 times.
According to the records, Edwards added John Doe on both Snapchat and Instagram in April 2024 and would send sexually explicit messages to the victim. The report also mentioned that Edwards would ask the victim to send nude pictures of herself and was sometimes bribed with money.
Records show that Jane Doe also found several hidden cameras inside of her bedroom that Edwards had admitted to putting there. She also became aware that there were hidden cameras in the house placed there by Edwards.
Investigators issued a search warrant for Edwards' cell phone, Jane Doe's cell phone, and his house in League City.

Suspect arrested in connection to shooting of ex-NFL player, celebrity chef

Nearly eight months later, police in Maryland arrested a suspect in connection to the "senseless" shooting of a former NFL player turned celebrity chef and a woman. The shooting took place in the city of Hyattsville, part of the Washington, D.C. metro area. Devin Demetrius Spivey, one of five suspects wanted for targeting the pair, was booked into jail for the Nov. 5 double shooting, the Hyattsville Police Department announced on June 30. Police said the suspects attempted to rob the pair as they returned to dinner in Prince George's County. The victims survived and were treated at a hospital, police said. While police did not identify the shooting victims, Prince George's County Council member Wanika Fisher issued a statement confirming that the man who was shot is Tobias Dorzon. U.S. Marshals took Spivey, 21, into custody at a home on the 9100 block of Cherry Lane in Laurel, Maryland on June 27, police wrote in a post on Facebook. Todd Chrisley Breaks Years-Long Instagram Hiatus With Proud Dad Post

Todd Chrisley is social media active again, marking his return with double celebrations! The "Chrisley Knows Best" alum made a splashy comeback on Instagram in honor of his youngest son, Grayson, who achieved an academic milestone. The last time the proud dad updated the page was in December 2022, before his incarceration. Todd Chrisley regained his freedom on May 27 after he and his wife, Julie Chrisley, received full pardons from President Donald Trump. The couple reported to prison in 2023 following their guilty verdict on bank fraud and tax evasion charges. Todd finally marked his return home, weeks after regaining his freedom, by celebrating his son's academic achievement. He updated his Instagram page on Thursday, June 12, with a newsletter that revealed Grayson made the University of Alabama Dean's List for Spring Semester 2025. The doting dad could not contain his joy in the post's caption, boasting about his son's excellence. "God is good all the time, @graysonchrisley. I love you to the moon and back, and we couldn't be more proud," Todd began before diving into Grayson's stellar qualities. "You have shown great character and fortitude and stood with your lord and savior amidst the fire and came out the other side never smelling of smoke," he continued, seemingly referencing his time in prison. Todd also hailed Grayson as "proof of God's word," imploring him always to stand tall and true. Todd's post generated over 50k likes and hundreds of comments from fans, who celebrated his newfound freedom and Grayson's achievement. As many flooded him with their love and support, the Chrisley family patriarch responded by liking some comments. One of the comments he gave the red heart read: "YES, God always has the last say. The government and society tried to destroy this family, BUT their faith led them to prove all yall wrong. I love this & I love them." Another commenter echoed similar sentiments that received Todd's acknowledgment. The IG user applauded Grayson for his amazing features while applauding the efforts of Todd and Julie's oldest daughter, Savannah, for keeping her younger siblings in check. "Savannah really did a fantastic job holding everything down and on track so that everyone, including her, can flourish and be free," the fan wrote. As stated, Todd and Julie regained their freedom after Trump handed them full pardons on May 27. The president announced that he had forgiven the couple over a phone call with their children, Savannah and Grayson. PEOPLE reported that Grayson marked his parents' release from prison on his Instagram Stories, resharing a post detailing Trump's pardons. He expressed his happiness underneath the update, writing, "PRAISE GOD!!!! Thank you Mr. President for bringing my family back." Grayson's love for the politician continued in a separate post where he declared, "Trump knows best." His excitement was understandable, given how much the POTUS sympathized with his family during their phone call. Trump described Todd and Julie's incarceration as a "terrible thing" and hoped they would make good use of their second chance. Three years before making the Dean's list, Grayson nearly suffered severe injuries after a ghastly car crash. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the accident occurred in November 2022 on Saturday around 5:30 pm on I-65 in Nashville. Grayson was driving his Ford F-150 when he rear-ended a Dodge pickup truck. It was unclear how the accident happened, but police reports noted the other car had been in heavy standstill traffic when the media personality collided with it. First responders at the scene attempted to gather information from Grayson; however, he was unable to explain the situation. He was suspected to have a head injury, leading to his leaving the scene in the back of an ambulance. Meanwhile, the Dodge pickup truck suffered injuries but declined treatment. The Chrisleys were not the only ones ecstatic about Trump's pardons, as one of their attorneys saw an influx of new clients. The Blast shared that Jay Surgent had been bombarded with calls and emails from families with people behind bars. These hopeful clients hoped to get a presidential pardon for their loved ones like the Chrisleys and turned to Surgent for help. He addressed his overnight fame in a recent interview, claiming he got "three to five hundred emails a day." Additionally, the calls were so overwhelming that Surgent noted he might get a new cell phone. Despite the significant amount of communication from people desperate for his services, the attorney stressed that he was grateful for the growth of his business. Here's to hoping the Chrisleys have nothing but good times ahead of them.
