Angel Reese Practice Video Surfaces After Second Missed Game
Angel Reese Practice Video Surfaces After Second Missed Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky dropped to 7-17 during the 2025 WNBA season after a brutal loss to the Seattle Storm on Thursday. The 95 to 57 defeat gave them their fourth-straight loss and dropped them to 4.5 games back from the final playoff spot. Second-year forward Angel Reese has put together her second consecutive All-Star campaign, as she is contributing a career-high 13.8 points and 3.7 assists per game. Her 12.5 rebounds per contest are also the best mark in the WNBA. Unfortunately, after playing in each of the Sky's first 21 games of the season, Reese has missed two of the last three contests due to injuries. This includes an absence during the team's 38-point loss to the Storm as she sat out with a back injury. Before the game against the Storm, Reese was initially listed as questionable, but reportedly did not participate in any capacity during the team's practices or shootaround leading up to the matchup. With the Sky facing off against the Indiana Fever on Sunday, however, Reese will be looking to make a return to the lineup. Chicago State of Mind Sports captured video of her going through individual drills after Saturday's practice, which is a step in the right direction. "Angel Reese going through an individual drill post practice. #Skytown," the account posted. Through 22 games of her sophomore season, Reese has recorded 16 double-doubles, including a streak of 10 straight that she will ride into Sunday's contest if she is healthy. Star Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is dealing with a groin injury and is unlikely to play. Sunday's game will tip off at 3:00 p.m. ET at the United Center, home of the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
