Some series and serials give identity to stars which never fades off. Something similar happened with Aasif Khan. If the name doesn't ring a bell, then let us tell you the man is known for one of the hit series Panchayat. If you think it is Jitendra, Ashok Pathak, Raghubir Yadav or Faisal Khan, then your guesses are completely wrong. The man in discussion is the famous Aasif Khan.
Aasif had humble beginnings. Over the years, the actor starred in various series including Mirzapur, Panchayat, Paatal Lok, Jamtara, Pagglait, and Human. He gained massive recognition for his dialogue, 'Gajjab Bezzati hai Yaar,' in Panchayat, giving him the name and fame he deserved. Aasif Khan Heart Attack News
Recently, Aasif made headlines when news of his heart attack surfaced online. According to reports, Aasif Khan suffered a heart attack and was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He received the needed treatment and the 34-year-old actor is stable now. When Aasif Khan Served Food at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Wedding
Yes, while this may sound absurd, not many people know that Aasif once served food at Saif and Kareena's wedding. When he came to Mumbai, he started working in a mall. However, later, he worked in the kitchen department of a hotel, which hosted Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding reception. Aasif Khan Faced Rejection
When Aasif tried his luck in the industry, he faced massive rejections. One of the producers heavily criticised his looks and height. However, instead of taking that rejection negatively, he took it in a positive way and worked on his skills. He later returned to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry once again and landed a job as a casting assistant.

Abhishek Banerjee Shoots Tamil Debut In Chennai, Returns To His Childhood Roots: ‘Feels Like Full Circle'

Abhishek Banerjee begins shooting his Tamil debut in Chennai. Raised in Kalpakkam, the actor calls it a full-circle moment tied to childhood memories. Abhishek Banerjee, known for his unforgettable performances in Paatal Lok, Stree, and the recent festival-favourite Stolen, is now stepping into Tamil cinema. The actor is currently filming in Chennai for what is reported to be his Tamil debut, marking a full-circle moment that is both personal and cinematic. Born in Kharagpur but raised in Kalpakkam, a serene coastal township just outside Chennai, Abhishek spent a significant part of his childhood surrounded by Tamil Nadu's rich culture, coastal cuisine, and monsoon-drenched streets. Now, years later, he returns — not as a wide-eyed schoolboy, but as one of India's most compelling screen talents. Taking to Instagram, Abhishek shared glimpses of his time on set in Chennai, prompting a wave of excitement among fans and industry insiders. His South Indian fanbase has grown exponentially in recent years, especially following the Tamil Nadu acclaim for Stolen, and the enduring cult status of Paatal Lok. 'Chennai and Kalpakkam hold a special place in Abhishek's childhood memories," a source close to the actor revealed. 'The local food, the sea breeze, the monsoon rains — it all feels familiar to him. Returning here for a shoot feels like coming full circle for the Stolen actor." While the details of the project remain tightly under wraps, industry speculation hints at a high-profile Tamil venture that could further cement Abhishek's pan-India appeal. What's clear, however, is the emotional undercurrent of this new chapter in his career. For Abhishek, this isn't just another film shoot — it's a deeply personal return to his roots, framed by nostalgia and artistic ambition. As fans eagerly await more news on the project, one thing is certain: Tamil cinema is about to witness a powerful new presence. As Masaan turns 10, Shweta Tripathi discusses why it's relevance will never fade

Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai, main kisi pull sa thartharata hoon! These lines stay with you when you watch director Neeraj Ghaywan's hit film, 'Masaan'. The film, starring Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, and Shweta Tripathi in the lead, created a tapestry of bruised and broken lives set against a 5,000-year-old backdrop: the city of Varanasi (Banaras). As the movie clocked a decade, Shweta Tripathi looked back on her journey with the film in an exclusive interaction with talking to us, the actor got nostalgic and shared how the film remains socially relevant even after 10 years. Tripathi, who marked her debut with the movie, said, 'The film is socially relevant, it was relevant in the past, it's relevant today, and it will continue to be relevant in the future because we bring about change through art and storytelling. It's important to keep doing this, whether it's creating cracks where needed or filling them to heal; the idea is to make people feel. I consider this an ongoing process, and I feel lucky, happy, blessed, and all things amazing that 'Masaan' chose me. This is something I deeply believe in.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shweta Tripathi (@battatawada) She added, 'Our society still has this common mindset - if a woman talks about pleasure, the reaction is very different. Pleasure, after all, is such a natural and beautiful thing. Devi's (Richa Chadha) character simply wants to explore that curiosity, yet she's punished for it. Back then, I had no idea about everything we were trying to portray in the movie, which is why I love my younger self.'The actor, who portrayed Vicky Kaushal's love interest, Shalu, in the film, fondly recalled the moment they learned about the movie's premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival and the overwhelming love it would go on to receive.'We were in Varanasi when we got the news, and it was introducing Vicky Kaushal and Shweta Tripathi to the big screen. First love is first love, but jo hota hai (whatever happens), we were very calm. We didn't know what to expect, and then just the wave of love and appreciation that came, everything is really special for us,' she added. The actor went on to play prominent roles in projects like 'Mirzapur' and 'Raat Akeli Hai' after 'Masaan' reflected on one of the prominent scenes from the film. It was filmed alongside Kaushal and pictured the two enjoying a local said, "'Masaan' is like that laal gubbara (a symbol of innocent, budding love in the scene) throughout my life. In fact, in that scene (the fair), we performed without looking at our dialogues. I understood Shalu. Every day, I used to wear bangles and bindi - I became Shalu. I even got attached to poetry because of Shalu, because she was introduced to the same in the film.'While 'Masaan' shows a city wrapped in traditions, and also makes several cinematic commentaries on love, class and culture, it also remains a poignant take on love that's innocent and resilient. The film's story unfolds along India's sacred river Ganga, following four individuals bound by a rigid moral code as they confront societal award-winning film weaves together two heart-wrenching tales, focusing on Deepak (Vicky Kaushal), who falls in love with an upper-caste girl, Devi (Richa Chadha).
