Farah Khan Says 'Loud' Kajol Is Different Around Ajay Devgn: 'She Is Very Pativrata'

Ajay Devgn joked that he produces Kajol's films so that she stays out of the house more often.
Ajay Devgn and Kajol are the epitome of the 'opposites attract' trope. While Ajay is known for being more reserved, Kajol is famous for her chatty personality. However, Farah Khan has said in her latest vlog that Kajol changes around Ajay. Farah said that she lets go of her loud personality around Ajay.
Farah Khan said, 'Kajol is a wonderful wife. She is completely different when she is with him. Otherwise, she is all loud and chatty. I saw her on the sets of Himmatwala. She is very pativrata (devoted wife). She was putting food for him, very sweet."
When this comment was repeated to Ajay, he said, 'Aisa kuch nahi hai (It's not like that)." He also joked that he keeps producing her films so that Kajol stays out of the house more often. 'Koshish to yehi kar raha hu (I am trying my best)," Ajay quipped.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn's journey—from meeting to marriage and parenthood—is often hailed as one of Bollywood's most enduring love stories. They first crossed paths during the shooting of Hulchul in 1995. Initially, Kajol found Ajay too quiet, and he was equally thrown off by her boisterous charm. Yet over time, friendship blossomed into romance. With no grand proposals, they simply 'grew with each other," finally deciding to marry after about four years together.
Kajol and Ajay were married on 24 February 1999 at Ajay's Mumbai home in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony. They intentionally kept the affair private, even sending a fake address to the media so paparazzi would not track them down. Kajol described marrying at the peak of her career as a conscious choice to 'take it easier," scaling back from doing four to five films a year to roughly one.
In 2001, Kajol suffered a miscarriage in her first pregnancy—an experience they handled with dignity before embracing parenthood wholeheartedly in subsequent years. Their daughter Nysa was born on 20 April 2003, followed by their son Yug on 13 September 2010. Most recently, Nysa has graduated from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland with a degree in hospitality and luxury brand strategy, and has chosen not to enter films despite her famous lineage.

'Koi Ladki Pass Nahi Aati Thi': Gulshan Grover On This 'Bad Man' Image On Screen

Last Updated: Gulshan Grover says women avoided him for years due to his scary villain roles — until social media helped show his real personality. Gulshan Grover has spent decades terrifying audiences on screen, but in real life, his villainous roles had an unexpected side effect — women kept their distance. The actor, who's famously called Bollywood's 'Bad Man," recently dropped by Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi's home for lunch and a candid chat on their vlog. During the visit, the topic turned to how his menacing characters affected people's perception of him off screen — especially women. When Parmeet asked if his on-screen persona scared women away, Grover didn't hesitate. 'Jab tak social media nahi aaya tha, toh koi ladki pass nahi aati thi because unhe lagta tha jo screen par dekha tha wahi personality has iss aadmi ki," he said. Grover went on to recall how things slowly shifted after social media became part of the picture. 'Aur jab social media aaya aur when I entered a party, hugged Archana, another heroine saw it and pehle toh unko a Vishwas hua ki film toh bhaag rahi thi aur yahan gale mil rahi hai, yeh kya nonsense hai. Then slowly slowly people understood that he is just doing a role," he explained. Known for unforgettable villainous turns in hits like Ram Lakhan, Mohra, Sir, Hera Pheri and Duplicate, Grover built a legacy playing the bad guy. His bold performance as the over-the-top antagonist in Ram Lakhan made 'Bad Man" his signature – but also blurred the lines between reel and real for many fans. Now, thanks to social media, Grover says people can finally see the difference between the character and the man himself. Gulshan Grover is set to appear next in Heer Express, directed by Umesh Shukla. The film is produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, Mohit Chhabra, and Sanjay Grover. It marks the debut of Divita Juneja, who stars alongside Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Prit Kamani, and Grover in pivotal roles. Heer Express is slated for a theatrical release on September 12. Obsessive In Love, Doctor Slept With 22-Yr-Old Dead Patient For 7 Yrs: 'Reconstructed Vagina For...'

Last Updated: Tanzler paid for her funeral and built a large mausoleum, to which he alone had a key. The story of Carl Tanzler and Elena de Hoyos is one of obsession that went far beyond normal limits. It is not about murder or stalking the living. It is about a man who lived with a dead body for years. In 1931, 22-year-old Elena de Hoyos was taken to the Marine Hospital in Key West, Florida. She had tuberculosis, a deadly disease at that time. Carl Tanzler, also known as Count Carl Von Cosel, was a radiologic technician at the hospital. He was not a doctor but believed he could save her life. Tanzler tried unusual treatments, including potions and devices with electrodes. He confessed his love to Elena, but she was not interested. Sadly, she died on October 25, 1931. Mausoleum and Secret Visits Tanzler paid for her funeral and built a large mausoleum, to which he alone had a key. For two years, he visited her grave every night, leaving gifts and even installing a phone inside the tomb. The Shocking Discovery In 1940, rumours spread that Tanzler was living with Elena's body. Her sister visited him and discovered that it was true. Tanzler had taken her corpse from the tomb in 1933. He preserved the body using coat hangers, wax, glass eyes and perfume to mask the smell. He reconstructed her face with plaster and made a wig from her real hair. Her body was dressed, bejewelled and kept in his bed. An autopsy revealed disturbing modifications, but there was no evidence of sexual acts. A Plan to Bring Her Back Tanzler believed he could revive Elena. He built a lab shaped like an aeroplane and claimed flying her into the stratosphere would restore life. Trial and Public Sympathy Tanzler was arrested for grave robbery, but charges were dropped because the statute of limitations had expired. Surprisingly, the public pitied him. Elena's body was displayed at a funeral home, where 6,000 people came to see it before it was buried again in an unmarked grave. Tanzler's Life and Death Carl Tanzler was born in Austria in 1877, married and had two children before abandoning them. He believed he had a vision of his one true love—a dark-haired woman, whom he thought was Elena. He died in 1952, reportedly still with a life-size doll of Elena by his side. This bizarre case remains one of the strangest love stories ever told. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
