As per KoiMoi, Detective Ujjwalan opened its theatrical run with an initial collection of Rs 69 lakh. Maintaining a steady performance, the film continued to add to its tally over the following weeks. By the end of its 28-day run in Indian cinemas, it had earned a net total of Rs 6.50 crore, while the gross domestic collection, including taxes, reached Rs 7.67 crore.

Vijayawada: A full day of soulful melodies and classical brilliance marked the birth anniversary celebrations of legendary music maestro 'Padma Vibhushan' Dr Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, organised by Sri Subrahmanya Mahathi Sangeetha Samithi, Vijayawada.
