‘I absolutely adore you', cries ex-Miss Ireland in heart-breaking tribute to ‘remarkable' late dad after cancer battle
FORMER Miss Ireland Jasmine Gerhardt has announced the death of her father Rudolf.

27-year-old Jasmine, from Clonsilla, took to her
today to share the devastating personal news with her fans.
Rudolf was diagnosed with stage four of the disease just days after his girl took home the Miss Ireland crown back in 2023.
On her social media Jasmine, who has a master's degree in Human Rights and European Union Law, posted some beautiful snaps she had taken over the years with her dad.
In one photo, the pair were all smiles as they grinned wide for a quick selfie.

In another snap, Jasmine looked over the moon to be on FaceTime with her dad while he was soaking up the sun on a holiday.
In a heart-warming throwback snap to when she was a tot, Jasmine looked unrecognisable sitting on her dad's shoulders as they both explored a stables.
She also penned a heartfelt message to her late dad alongside the images.
She said: "Rest in Peace Dad. The love of my life, my best friend I truly don't know how I will live without you.

Irish designer shares heartbreaking cancer diagnosis
The award-winning milliner recently welcomed her fourth child Irish designer Jennifer Wrynne has shared the heartbreaking news that she has been diagnosed with cancer. The milliner, who welcomed her fourth child just three months ago, took to social media to share her diagnosis with followers. 'Breast cancer. A journey I never imagined I'd be going on… but I'm soaking up every cuddle before it begins,' she captioned a video shared to Instagram. 'The past few days have been a complete blur. Everything has happened so quickly — and I'm heartbroken to share that I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. 'I'm nervous, scared, and overwhelmed… but more than anything, I'm grateful,' she said. Wrynne added that she was grateful they found the lump and it was caught early. 'Grateful to Nurse Edel in my local GP who acted so quickly. Grateful that it's treatable. Grateful for the incredible care I've received already. And most of all — grateful it's me and not one of my children, family, or friends,' she continued. 'My first step is surgery this week, followed by treatment in the weeks ahead. It won't be easy but I'm feeling strong and positive. 'I'll keep you updated as I go, but in the meantime, please do me one small favour: check your breasts. 'I'm embarrassed to admit that, at 36 years old, I had never checked mine.
