New CCTV footage shows moment missing teenage girl, 16, was last seen in Dartford
Police are urging witnesses to come forward after Lola Bignell, 16, was reported missing in Kent on Monday.
The footage shows Ms Bignell in the Heath Road area of Dartford on Tuesday and appears to show that she has dyed her hair black.
Police say she may have travelled to Bexleyheath, Margate or the east Kent area, where she has links.
'The 16-year-old is described as around 5ft 5in and of slim build, with long brown hair and blue eyes,' Kent Police added.
Anyone who has seen the teenager is advised to contact Kent Police or call 999 if they have critical information on her whereabouts.
Messages of support poured in online in response to the urgent appeal, which was shared over 1,500 times.
As well as multiple wishes that Ms Bignell is found 'safe and sound', the community raised concerns over the number of young people going missing.
'So many youngsters going missing, what's going on?' one comment read. 'Hope she is found.'
Some 79 per cent of missing children are found within 24 hours and 90 per cent are found within two days, according to the charity Missing UK.

Police are growing "increasingly concerned" for a woman who has been missing from Kilmarnock for over a Wade, 36 was last seen in the town's North Hamilton Street area at about 20:15 on Friday 25 is described as white, about 5ft 5in tall, with medium build and long brown/blonde hair. Police make renewed appeal on 37th birthday of man missing since 2012
Police have made a renewed appeal for information about a missing man on what would have been his 37th birthday. Kyle Vaughan was 24 when he disappeared in Newbridge, Gwent, on December 30 2012. Mystery surrounds his whereabouts after his crashed car was found abandoned on a country road, prompting detectives to launch a murder investigation. Detective Chief Superintendent Andrew Tuck, who is leading the investigation, said: 'Our ongoing inquiries into what happened to Kyle before his disappearance is one of our most extensive investigations to date. 'Detectives working in our major incident team continue to investigate any information that the public passes onto us in relation to Kyle, both before and after his last-known sighting. 'We remain in regular contact with Kyle's family. 'They have never given up hope of finding out what happened to him and we will follow up any lines of inquiry that emerge to answer those questions that his family still has. 'I'm urging members of the public to contact us with any details they have, no matter how minor it may seem to assist our investigation, please come forward.' Mr Vaughan's mother Mary died in 2018, having had advanced liver cancer for several years. The factory worker, known to his friends as Jabbers, was last seen at his home in Newbridge. Later that same night, his damaged silver Peugeot 306 was found on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys. It was not clear whether Mr Vaughan had been driving the vehicle but police said they were confident he would have been able to walk away from the collision. A total of eight people were arrested on suspicion of offences in connection with Mr Vaughan's disappearance but all were released without charge.

Teenager performing wheelie tackled to ground by Kent Police
Bodycam footage released by Kent Police shows an officer tackling a teenager who performed a wheelie, seemingly directly at him. The incident took place on 26 July after police responded to reports of 'nuisance' teenagers riding bikes into oncoming traffic and performing wheelies near the public. During the intervention, the officer grabbed the youngster mid-cycle and instructed him to 'stop it'. Other teenagers involved were issued section 35 dispersal orders, had their parents informed, and their bikes seized by officers. Watch the video in full above.
