Freddie Fraser, 21, became one of the third series' breakout stars earlier this year and has built an impressive following since rising to fame.
But The Sun can exclusively reveal that behind-the-scenes, the TV star has been dealing with a secret love split from girlfriend, Nisha Davenport.
Peterborough-born Freddie and Nisha met whilst both studying at University and quickly hit it off.
But friends of the former couple tell The Sun that they quietly called time on their romance after enjoying a romantic trip to Budapest in March of this year.
They told The Sun: "Freddie quietly split from Nisha earlier this year, shortly after a loved-up trip to Budapest.
"She'd been by his side throughout his Traitors fame but Freddie soon found himself living a showbiz lifestyle that he'd always dreamed of.
"They were also both incredibly aware that after university it would be more difficult than ever to keep the romance going strong.
"The split was very amicable and there was no drama on either side.
"They have the same close circle of friends from university which has proved challenging to navigate over the last few weeks but all Freddie's mates think he's handled it really maturely."
Freddie and Nisha enjoyed a UK-based staycation in Devon last year, shortly after he finished filming his series of The Traitors.

Nisha even met all of his co-stars at a black-tie bash held for Freddie's 21st birthday in Nottingham but found it challenging to cope with his increasing stardom.
Another insider added to The Sun: "Freddie's always dreamt of being a star and he has the backing of all his friends but it seemed to come at the cost of his relationship."
It is understood Freddie is now firmly focused on growing his TV career after completing his politics studies at the University of Nottingham last month.
Pals added that the newly single star has certainly not been short of capturing the attention of a bevy of beauties and could even sign up to a dating show to find his next partner.

A representative for Freddie declined to comment.
Freddie was the youngest contestant on this year's series of the show which became the highest-rated to date.
He started his time in the Scottish castle as a Faithful but was recruited as a Traitor in the final week.
However, after an epic slip-up involving co-star Minah Shannon, he seemingly gave his Traitor status away and was banished from the castle after just 24 hours in his position.
Since the show, he has carved out a career as an influencer on social media.

LGBTQ+ figures criticise supreme court's gender ruling at London Pride
Thousands of people gathered in London for Pride on Saturday, but prominent LGBTQIA+ figures at the event voiced concern that transgender people are being 'villainised more than ever'. Singer and actor Olly Alexander and writer Shon Faye were among those to criticise a UK supreme court ruling on the definition of a woman at London's annual celebration of LGBTQI+ communities. Alexander, the Eurovision 2024 contestant, told the PA news agency: 'Trans people right now, they need our support and love more than ever, they're being villainised, demonised in the press, by a lot of the media, and trans people they're just like us … they're you, they're me. 'They deserve the same respect, the same rights, the same privileges, same opportunities, and that's why Pride is so important this year.' In April the supreme court ruled the words 'woman' and 'sex' in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex. Before the march, Faye, author of Love in Exile and The Transgender Issue, said 'we've just seen an unprecedented attack on queer rights and trans rights across the world'. Fans were treated to performances by Cast, a Britpop band from Liverpool, and The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft before the Gallagher brothers made their long awaited return to the stage. Oasis proved they were worth the 16 year wait, playing a whopping 23 songs from their impressive back catalogue including Roll With It, Stand By Me, and Talk Tonight. Before Cigarettes & Alcohol Liam dished out orders to the crowd, saying: 'I want you to do us a favour. I don't ask much. 'I want you to turn around, every single one of you 'Put your arms around each other like you like each other and when the tune starts you jump up and down. 'Its f***ing easy.' After last night's gig, Oasis play another night in Cardiff before moving on to Heaton Park in their native Manchester for five nights. Then the band heads to Wembley Stadium for five nights from July 25 and then on to Edinburgh and Dublin, with the first part of their UK leg ending at Croke Park on August 17. Oasis then heads over Canada and America for gigs in Toronto, Chicago, LA and Mexico City before returning to London for two more dates at Wembley at the end of September.
