Sharlene Mawdsley sprints through Tipp's celebrations
Sharlene Mawdsley was the embodiment of 'no days off' during Tipperary's All-Ireland celebrations on Monday, as she raced a local barefoot and in a dress. The Olympic sprinter was in the stands to cheer on her boyfriend and Tipp hurler Michael Breen as the Premier County overturned a six-point deficit to hammer Cork and bring Liam McCarthy back to Tipperary for the first time since 2019. With Michael and the rest of the lads returning to Tipp to celebrate in front of 45,000 people in Semple Stadium, Sharlene joined in on the celebrations, and there clearly wasn't a loss on her this morning; as she raced a fella at 6.45am. The head start was nothing for her, however, as she breezed past him in a 10 second clip that has done the rounds on Twitter (X).
