Oasis' Liam Gallagher mocks Coldplay kiss cam scandal at concert: 'Any love birds in the house?'

Oasis are telling lovers that it's okay to put their lives in the rock and roll band, following the viral "Coldplay camera" incident.
The faux pas saw the former CEO of tech firm Astromer, Andy Byron, being caught in an embrace with the company's chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, during Coldplay's Massachusetts concert last Wednesday.
Speaking to attendees at Manchester's Heaton Park, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher said: "Do we have any love birds in the house? Don't worry, we won't have none of that Coldplay snidey f****** camera s***.
"Doesn't matter to us who you're f*******, mingling with, tingling with... it's none of our f****** business."
The monologue drew cheers and laughs from the audience. In the days following Coldplay's Massachusetts show, Byron resigned from his role at Astronomer as Pete DeJoy, the company's chief product officer steps in as interim CEO.
'Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' said Astronomer in its post on LinkedIn page, referencing the incident.

'Coldplaygate' united the internet against a common enemy - the rich tech bro, Entertainment News

SINGAPORE — "Coldplaygate" has everything we love about internet drama. It is painful for the people involved, but not tragic. It records a moment of comeuppance, the part in the show when justice rolls up to slap cheaters in the face. And it is all happening to the villain of the hour: the wealthy tech bro. As more details about the conscious uncoupling captured on British rock band Coldplay's concert "kiss cam" on July 16 emerged on social media, the show got juicier. The pair, married to other people, gave us a moment of sitcom pleasure. There was the slow realisation that they were on camera, followed by the cartoon scramble to hide their face or hunch over, like three-year-olds who believe that if they can't see us, we can't see them. A few hours later came the revelations that would spawn a thousand memes. @instaagraace trouble in paradise?? 👀 #coldplay #boston #coldplayconcert #kisscam #fyp ♬ original sound - grace The man is Andy Byron, chief executive of US tech firm Astronomer. The woman he was caught canoodling with on the jumbotron is Kristin Cabot, his company's chief people officer, whose job is to tell employees not to do what they are doing. In any event, their moment of infamy proved a more valuable teaching tool than a hundred PowerPoint slides. Byron is — or rather, was — the head of a unicorn company, a start-up valued at more than US$1 billion (S$1.28 billion) that is privately owned. In short, he is rich, but not just rich. He is Silicon Valley rich, which is the specific kind of rich many of us despise, and not without good reason. Artificial intelligence is wrecking schools. Deepfakes are wrecking reputations. Robots will replace us. Men are spending billions making pointy space arrows rather than fixing a polluted Earth. American pop star Katy Perry made the world cringe when she kissed the ground like she had been in orbit for months after tech billionaire Jeff Bezos turned her into a space tourist for a few seconds. It is not for nothing that in recent movies, the villains of the moment are tech moguls. In Superman, arch-villain Lex Luthor employs a crew to smear the Man of Steel's reputation on social media. To make Luthor even more unlikable, writer-director James Gunn makes the disinformation army a bunch of monkeys — literal simians, smashing keyboards. This is what we experts in communications call "commentary". Luthor, like the tech-overlord villains in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Jurassic World Dominion (2022), Leave The World Behind (2023) and Civil War (2024), is an angry nerd with hands on the levers of public opinion. The TED-Talk techno-optimism of the early 2000s has been swamped by a tide of crypto-fuelled cynicism. For every good thing TikTok brings — such as the sight of a middle-aged millionaire acting like a randy teen — it brings a slew of side effects. Hollywood is responding to the times. In the 1980s, the baddies were Japanese executives, engorged with American money (Die Hard, 1988; Black Rain, 1989). The 1990s cast the spotlight on the serial killer and the psychopath (The Silence Of The Lambs, 1991; Se7en, 1995) and the 2000s gave us the drug cartel and the religious terrorist (television series 24, 2001 to 2014; Sicario, 2015). Fast forward to today and the tech bro is Hollywood shorthand for "Here's someone you can hate on sight; no tedious backstory needed". There is no word yet for the flowering of meme creativity that follows internet drama. For now, let's call it the meme-naissance, and this one has spawned hilarious follow-ups. Creators made instructional skits showing how the Coldplaygate cheaters could have passed off their snuggling as performing the Heimlich manoeuvre or a session of gongfu training. Social media managers told their sports mascots to mimic the jumbotron moment at their stadiums. Even as you read this, the meme-naissance rolls on, racking up millions of views on TikTok. And guess who owns every social media platform now hosting memes about the most-talked-about tech bro of 2025 so far? That's right — other tech bros. This is the circle of life. Kristin Cabot: HR Chief Caught Cuddling Her CEO Boss at Coldplay Concert Recently Took Out $1.6 Million Mortgage with Her Husband

The HR executive caught on camera cuddling her boss at a Coldplay concert had taken out a massive $1.6 million mortgage with her husband not long before the incident, it has emerged. Kristin Cabot and her husband, Andrew Cabot—an heir to the Cabot family's $15.4 billion fortune—bought a $2.2 million home along the coast of New Hampshire in March this year. However, according to property documents reviewed by The Sun, the affluent couple, listed as husband and wife in state records, did not purchase the "fixer-upper" property outright. Both Kristin and Andrew are reportedly listed on the loan documents for the $1.6 million mortgage secured through Morgan Stanley. Affluent Family's Big Buy Kristin Cabot with her husband, Andrew Cabot Facebook Kristin, 52, and Andrew, 60, had planned to renovate the classic New England-style home, a four-bedroom, two-bath property set on 1.42 acres. The house was sold in its current condition and reportedly "needs rehab," according to the publication. It remains unclear whether the couple has hired contractors or begun any renovation work. Andrew and his elite family are now at the center of a global scandal that erupted unexpectedly after Kristin was seen on a kiss cam getting close to her coworker, Andy Byron, during a Coldplay concert in Boston last week. Kristin Cabot LinkedIn The pair, who quickly turned away when they appeared on the big screen, worked together at the AI company Astronomer. Byron stepped down as CEO last week. He is also married—to Megan—and the couple owns a large estate in Massachusetts. Kristin and Andrew have not made any public appearances since the viral footage of her intimate moment with Byron at the Coldplay concert surfaced. It remains unclear whether the couple has since separated. According to Massachusetts property records from January, Kristin is currently married to Andrew, who is both the CEO and COO of Privateer Rum. Kristin Cabot tried to hide her face the moment she realized that she and her boss Andy Byron were caught on camera X Although the exact date of their marriage is unclear, documents confirm that Kristin—formerly known by her maiden name, Stanek—was married when she sold a $1.8 million home in Watertown, Massachusetts, earlier this year. Strong Bond after Second Marriage Public records also reveal that Andrew has been married at least twice before, in 1993 and again in 2014. He shares two children with his first wife, Maud, who posted a photo on social media last April showing Andrew and Kristin appearing loved up at their daughter's 25th birthday celebration. Kristin Cabot was caught cuddling her boss, Andy Byron' on the Coldplay 'kiss cam' X Kristin was even seen in the photos posing with Andrew's 30-year-old son, Henry, and wearing a wedding ring—though the ring was noticeably absent during her cozy moment with Byron at the concert. Earlier this year, Kristin and Andrew were also listed as "husband and wife" in documents for the purchase of their $2.2 million two-story home in Rye, New Hampshire. Since the property is under lien, the couple may be forced to sell it if they decide to move ahead with a divorce or legal separation. Regardless of who continues living in the home—which features high ceilings, a wraparound porch, a walk-up attic, and a two-car garage—both parties remain liable for mortgage payments. One spouse could potentially buy out the other's share or refinance the loan to assume full ownership. In February, Kristin and Andrew also sold another four-bedroom home for $1.05 million, less than a year after purchasing it in April 2024. Andrew filed for divorce from his second wife, Julie, in 2018, after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. He and his first wife, Maud, jointly filed for divorce in 2013 following their separation in 2011. Kristin was also previously married. She filed for divorce from Ken Thornby in 2018, and the process was finalized in 2020. Andrew comes from one of Boston's original Brahmin families—a group of elite, long-established families descended from early English settlers who held great social, political, and cultural influence starting in the 18th century. Andrew touts his family lineage on the Privateer Rum website, highlighting that he is a sixth-generation descendant of the company's original founder, also named Andrew Cabot—whom he appears to be named after. Andy Byron LinkedIn Over the centuries, the family built a vast fortune—now estimated at $15.4 billion—and held an elite, almost untouchable status in Boston's social circles, until John F. Kennedy's rise in politics challenged that dominance. In 1952, JFK notably defeated Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. in a U.S. Senate race, a turning point that helped elevate the Kennedy family to national prominence. Andrew Cabot has two children from his first marriage to Maud, who posted a photo on social media in April last year showing Andrew and Kristin looking affectionate at their daughter's 25th birthday celebration.

Megan Byron: Wife of Disgraced Astronomer CEO Hiding at $2.4 Million Mansion after Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal as Marriage Hangs in Balance

The wife of embattled Astronomer CEO Andy Byron is staying out of the spotlight at the couple's $2.4 million estate in Maine as she engages in crisis talks over the future of their marriage, according to a report. Megan Byron, 50, had several relatives, including her older sister Maura, rush to her side, after viral footage surfaced last week showing her husband, also 50, getting cozy with Kristin Cabot, his top HR executive, during a Coldplay concert, the Daily Mail reported. Megan soon left their $1.4 million home in Northborough, Massachusetts, and has since been keeping a low profile at the couple's upscale home in Kennebunk, located 106 miles away. No Contact with Her Husband Megan, who is the Associate Director of Lower School and Hope Graham Program Admissions at Bancroft School, has yet to make any public comments regarding her husband's alleged affair. However, on Thursday, Megan removed her husband's name from her social media accounts and reverted to her maiden name, Kerrigan. She also deleted several happy family photos from Facebook that featured Byron and their two sons, including photos from a hiking trip and a graduation ceremony, the Daily Mail reported. One of the erased photos showed the entire family smiling with their arms around each other, posing by a creek during a nature outing. That picture-perfect family image quickly unraveled after viral footage showed Byron embracing 52-year-old Kristin Cabot, the HR head at Astronomer. The video spread rapidly online, ultimately leading to his resignation from the company. The two colleagues were caught on the venue's 'kiss cam' during a Coldplay concert in Boston on July 16, visibly embarrassed as they quickly turned away in a bid to hide their faces from the giant screen. Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, added to the embarrassment by joking to the crowd, "They're either having an affair... or just really shy," drawing laughs from the audience. As Megan remains locked down at the couple's Maine home, grappling with the fallout from her husband's alleged affair, a fundraiser held less than a mile away for the Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association poked fun at the now-viral incident. While auctioning off a $13,000 experience, the host joked, "another guy who thinks he's going to Coldplay – as long as you guys don't get caught," prompting laughter and applause from the crowd. Embarrassing for their Families Although some locals found the joke amusing, others criticized Byron's behavior as "disgraceful," while also telling the Daily Mail that the family should be given space and privacy to deal with the situation. "Everyone has seen it but the family do not want to talk about it," one angry local told the outlet, before requesting we leave the exclusive street next to Webhannet Golf Club. The sprawling 4,169-square-foot home, featuring four bedrooms and four bathrooms, saw several family members coming and going over the weekend. However, it remains unclear whether Byron visited to speak with his wife following the scandal. Neither Byron nor Kristin Cabot have been seen in public since the incident, although Astronomer confirmed that both were placed on leave before Byron ultimately stepped down from his position. Cabot is also married to another executive, Andrew Cabot, who serves as CEO of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based spirits company. While the exact date of their marriage is unclear, official records confirm that Kristin—whose maiden name is Stanek—was still married when she sold a $1.8 million property in Watertown, Massachusetts, earlier this year. Privateer Rum's website lists Andrew Cabot as both CEO and COO, and public records indicate he has been married at least twice before, in 1993 and again in 2014. The Cabot family descends from Boston's elite Brahmin class, with roots stretching back to the city's earliest English settlers. The Cabot family's legacy traces back to the original Andrew Cabot, a successful merchant and rum producer who gained prominence during the American Revolutionary era and died in 1791. Over the centuries, the family built a vast fortune—now estimated at $15.4 billion—and held an elite, almost untouchable status in Boston's social circles, until John F.
