Metallica Earns Multiple New Top 10s With A Decades-Old Album
Earlier this month, Metallica re-released its album Load in a super deluxe edition. The decades-old project clearly connected with the hard rock band's massive fanbase, as the full-length appears on half a dozen charts in the United Kingdom this week — and remarkably, on several of them for the very first time.
Load Debuts Inside the Top 10 on Multiple Charts
Decades after it was initially a commercial success, Load opens inside the top 10 on multiple tallies. The collection debuts highest on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, where it starts at No. 5. With this latest arrival, Metallica has now collected nine top 10s on the format-specific ranking. The last time the group reached the uppermost tier was in December 2023, when Ride the Lightning opened at No. 10, also many years after its initial heyday.
The band previously climbed even higher than this current No. 5 spot with 72 Seasons, a brand new release that quickly soared to No. 1 in spring 2023.
Metallica's Fifth Top 10 on the Sales List
Load also debuts one spot lower on the Official Albums Sales chart. On that list, Metallica earns its fifth top 10 as the 1996 collection kicks off its return at No. 6. The group most recently scored a new top 10 on this ranking in April 2023, when 72 Seasons hit the summit. Since then, four other efforts have launched in lower positions.
A New Downloads Win
The full-length also reaches the Official Album Downloads chart for the very first time. Though it doesn't approach the top 10 on the list, the hard rock classic is new at No. 45, just missing out on becoming a top 40 bestseller.
Load Returns to No. 1
Load reenters a trio of additional tallies, and even manages to conquer one of them, thanks to its recently-shared deluxe reissue. Metallica is back in charge on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, as Load returns to the roster at No. 1 after not appearing very recently.
The set also breaks back onto the Official Physical Albums chart at No. 6 and reappears on the main ranking of the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the U.K. at No. 46 — coincidentally the same position it lands on the downloads tally.

Lewis Hamilton warns against rushing an 'F1' movie sequel after box-office success
SILVERSTONE, England (AP) — Lewis Hamilton says he just wants to enjoy the 'F1' movie's success as he warned Thursday that rushing a sequel would be 'the worst thing we probably could do.' The seven-time Formula 1 champion was an executive producer on the film, which stars Brad Pitt as a hard-bitten racer making a late-career comeback. It became Apple's biggest box-office hit yet when it debuted with $55.6 million in North American theaters and $144 million globally over the weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday. 'We literally just finished it, so I think the last thing we want right now is a sequel,' Hamilton said Thursday ahead of the British Grand Prix. 'It's been four years in the making. It was a lot of work, particularly for (director Joseph Kosinski). It's time away from your family, it's time away from your kids, and also you need this to just simmer for a while, you know. Like, let's enjoy it. 'I think the worst thing we probably could do is to rush into doing a sequel,' the Ferrari driver added. 'Most sequels are way worse, and so we don't need to rush it. I think if we do do a sequel, I would say let's really, really take our time in getting it even better.' Hamilton said he was bringing F1 race-track procedures to the movie business by asking for a 'debrief' on the project, in the same way a team analyzes a race before heading to the next one. 'Let's review what we did, what we could have done better,' he said. 'I don't know if they ever do that in the movie business, but it's something obviously I've learned from here.' ___ AP auto racing:

Addressed: Should You Wear a Swimsuit On Dry Land?
Welcome to Addressed, a weekly column where we, ahem, address the joys (and tribulations!) of getting dressed. So far we've unpacked how to wear shorts at the office and beyond, how to pack a carry-on bag for a work trip, how to dress with style in your third trimester, and even how to layer without looking like that chair in your room (you know the one). Download the Vogue app, and find our Style Advice section to submit your question. Every once in a while, a collection comes along so exactingly crafted that it makes you reconsider your wardrobe or, faced with that impossibility, make you wish for at least one chance to go all-in on the fantasy in your very-real life. Such was the case of Ryota Iwai's latest Auralee collection, shown in Paris last week. In the second look, a model walked out wearing a simple two-piece swimsuit consisting of a scoopneck top and little shorts in a gorgeous shade of citrine tipped in white, topped off with a short black thigh-grazing leather jacket, and a long black trench coat, socks, and sandals. Suddenly a simple question arose; wait, can you just wear a swimsuit out on dry land? Now, I am not by any means insinuating that this is something that can be done at the workplace—unless you're a lifeguard, I guess—but on those extra-warm summer days, when you go to the beach or the pool, or if you're simply vacationing somewhere when you can live out fashion fantasies, this really feels like the right way to be. The vibes are carefree and youthful—something that always says summer to me, no matter how old I get. The gold-standard for wearing a swimsuit-as-clothing is the pairing of a one-piece with trousers or a skirt, as if it were a bodysuit. I've never really been a subscriber to this formula myself, but I have to say that looking at the way Iwai paired the super-sporty maillot with a very proper pair of pleated (and belted!) trousers feels alluring. I think it's precisely that contrast—the super casual with the business-casual—that makes the combination feel so fresh. Iwai also styled a lot of the looks with boy shorts. In New York there is no shortage of young women in teeny shorts that look like underwear (not to be all Cher Horowitz's dad), and this is not the first runway collection in recent memory to encourage the wearing of tiny bottoms out on the street, but on the Auralee runway they felt more matter-of-fact wardrobing and less 'styled runway look.' Take a look at the striped button-down shirt artfully gathered at the waist and paired with a swim shorts two-piece, or the navy bottoms worn with a double-layered tank and paired—inexplicably, geniusly—with black buckled moto boots and socks. Again, it's the unexpected pairings that make it so good. Rachel Comey also leaned into this wet-dry mix, with a swim micro-skirt (shorts attached!), accompanied by a breezy knit polo and sneakers. A full-coverage swim bottom is also the perfect way to wear sheer clothes—whether dreamy boho dresses or minimal pencil skirts. So why not consider a little experimentation? Old Navy has basic black swim shorts to layer underneath short tunics or jackets, and Reformation makes a blue plaid pair for more romantic stylings, as well as a classic striped one-piece that might look fab with a pair of fab '70s style wide-leg, high-waist jeans. As long as the combo feels just a little off, it's likely to be big-time right.

(Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage) Superman filmmaker James Gunn lies in a casket for an interview with his friend and colleague David Dastmalchian for Season 3 of Dastmalchian's talk show Grave Conversations. Gunn, of course, is the co-CEO of Warner Bros.' DC Studios with Peter Safran. DC Studios is about to kick off a new era of the DC Universe with Superman, written and directed by Gunn, on Friday, July 11. Dastmalchian — whose long list of credits includes The Dark Knight, the Ant-Man trilogy, Oppenheimer, Late Night with the Devil and most recently, Murderbot and The Life of Chuck — began hosting Grave Conversations on Instagram and YouTube in April 2024. Dastmalchian also played Polka-Dot Man in Gunn's DC antihero movie The Suicide Squad in 2021. Grave Conversations was developed by Elan Gale and produced by Dastmalchian's Good Fiend Films. Gale and Dastmalchian partnered with Titan Casket and its founder and CEO Scott Ginsberg to bring the unique talk show to life. In a press release to announce the show in 2024, Dastmalchian said, 'The opportunity to interview my friends and colleagues presented itself with Grave Conversations, a hilarious, heartfelt, and personal exploration of some of the things that matter most in life. And death.' Gunn is among the 10 new guests that Dastmalchian is interviewing for Grave Conversations Season 3. Gunn's episode will premiere on Monday, July 7, on YouTube, just days before Superman's release on July 11. 'I'm a huge fan of Grave Conversations,' Gunn said in the trailer for the show's third season, which was released on Wednesday. 'I'm what you call 'a superfan.'' Who Else Will David Dastmalchian Interview In 'Grave Conversations' Season 3? In addition to James Gunn, Grave Conversations will feature David Dastmalchian's interviews with She-Hulk and Star Trek: Prodigy star Jameela Jamil, Superman and The Rookie star Nathan Fillion and comic book creator and toy company owner Todd McFarlane. 'I'm going to be on Grave Conversations. It's important. Standing up interviews and sitting interviews? This is how it's done," McFarlane said of the talk show's unique format in the Season 3 trailer. "There's going to be a new wave. It's cool.' In addition, Dastmalchian will be interviewing Shadowhunters and Arrow star Katherine McNamara, actor-director Mark Duplass, actor-director Kevin Smith, The Suicide Squad star Flua Borg, Traitors star Chrishell Stause and M3GAN and M3GAN 2.0 star Violet McGraw. Grave Conversations Season 3 premieres on YouTube on Monday. James Gunn's Superman, starring David Corenswet as the new Clark Kent/Superman, opens in theaters nationwide on July 11.
