Next shoppers hail 'very comfy' £29 sandals as 'like Birkenstocks' but 65% cheaper
Many fashion fans will admit that a pair of Birkenstocks' Arizona Sandals are a summer must-have. However, like many big-name brands, they aren't exactly the cheapest.
The iconic two-strap sandals have earned a legion of fans that includes celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Margot Robbie. With prices starting from £85, it's no wonder many retailers have been offering their own versions at cheaper prices.
One of them is Next, with the high street retailer's Forever Comfort® Double Strap Footbed Sandals being hailed as "similar" to the luxury brand's own footwear, but at just £29 a pair, they are a staggering £56 cheaper.
Available in a standard fit, these sandals feature the same two-strap design, adjustable buckle fastening and upper suede material that shoppers say is "soft" and causes "no rubbing" on the top of the foot.
With the suede-lined Forever Comfort Footbed, they have been designed to provide all day comfort, while the durable outsole has been designed to last, offering value for money.
Available in sizes 3.5 to nine, these sandals can be bought in four colours - silver, neutral, coral pink and black.

Product Description
Whether paired with swimwear, a summer dress or even a pair of linen trousers, they can be paired with virtually any outfit.
Next isn't the only retailer to offer a 'dupe' for the iconic Birkenstocks sandals, as New Look's own Mink Faux Leather Buckle Strap Sandals also offer a similar design for a humble £16.99.
Over at Debenhams, shoppers can also find another affordable alternative with the EverAu Australia Mallard leather Twin Buckle Sandals that are on offer for £49.99, although they would usually cost £89.99.
Shoppers keen on bagging Next's own summer sandals will be pleased by more than their price, which is 65 per cent less than Birkenstocks.
They have multiple glowing reviews varying for each colour and they have been praised as "very comfortable" and also "good value."
One of the positive reviews read: "Very comfortable sandals. Similar to Birkenstocks but half the price!"
A second happy customer said: "I've been buying these for many years, always comfortable and good value. Would recommend."

Jetting off on holiday this summer and need some flattering new swimwear?
One that shoppers can't stop gushing over is Next's Plunge Shaping Tummy Control Swimsuit that seems to "firm" wobbly bits around the waistline. Costing just £40, it boasts 10 colours and prints to choose from.
With its elegant deep plunge neckline and trendy high-cut leg design, it's a fashionable one-piece that also is "not too revealing". It comes with a tummy-shaping panel around the middle that works to smooth out any lumps and bumps.
Each design of the one-piece is available in a regular-fit, with sizes ranging from a six through to 26, although some are beginning to sell out incredibly fast.
Those who have bought the £40 Next swimsuit can't stop praising it, as one shopper said: "The thick straps are super supportive and comfortable and the plunge neckline is very flattering while not showing too much cleavage. It's quite a high leg which I like and it feels very comfortable on.
"It pulls the tummy in nicely and is lovely and soft. I can't wait to wear this by the pool on holiday and I will feel comfortable swimming in it too."
A repeat purchaser wrote: "I've got a few different colours in this style of swimsuit now as it's a very flattering fit whilst also being very comfortable and secure."

Although someone else added: "Lovely soft straps. Very comfortable as expected."
And another shopper said of their purchase: "Very comfortable and straps are soft on top of foot - no rubbing."

Kendall Jenner sets pulses racing as she showcases her incredible figure in VERY skimpy red bikini for her latest Calzedonia shoot
She's known for her jaw-dropping displays and sizzling swimwear shoots. And Kendall Jenner delivered once again as she set pulses racing in her latest bikini campaign with Calzedonia. The model, 29, showcased her incredible physique from all angles as she wowed in a skimpy red bikini with gold detailing. The star relaxed on a lounger by the pool before changing into a ruched blue two piece as she was snapped securing the straps. Adding a casual baseball cap to her look, Kendall's hair was styled in wet locks as she took a dip in the pool. The shoot comes after Kendall sparked debate with a divisive fashion trend as she exited the Bezos-Sánchez wedding at the weekend. The model, 29, wowed from all angles as she wowed in a skimpy red bikini with gold detailing The star kept her look simple, opting for a pair of knee-length black leggings and a beige athleisure top as she disembarked from a water taxi en route to the airport. However the runway veteran sparked a bit of controversy with her choice of footwear, stepping out in a pair of clear jelly sandals. Other celebrities—such as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lawrence—have also embraced the nostalgic style, which was popular in the early 1980s. The mostly inexpensive shoes now seem just as at home in casual looks like Jenner's as they are in high-end ensembles, especially during the summer months. Depending on the brand, pairs of jellies can retail for anywhere from $25 to hundreds of dollars. However, in the era of fast fashion, the shoes, made from PVC plastic are controversial due to their environmental impact. Kendall's younger singer Kylie, 27, took a much bolder approach as she exited the ancient city. She wore a brown and black sleeveless animal print top with a matching pair of boot cut pants. Her choice of footwear was a pair of black flipflops. The influencer styled her hair is a low bun with tendrils framing her face. She too wore natural looking makeup with dark sunglasses. The Kylie Cosmetics mogul was seen holding the hand of her daughter Stormi, seven, as they walked down the ramp. The elementary schooler looked adorable in a ruffled charcoal gray top and skirt. Kylie shared some photos of the ride with Stormi and her son Aire, three from the gondola ride to the airport. The toddler looked sweet in a black T-shirt and jeans. 'Just me, my babies, and Kevin, muffin, puppy, & monkey,' she said referring to the kids' toys of choice for the long trip home.
