Toedscruel in Pokemon GO: Best Moveset, PvP and PvE Breakdown, and Is It Worth the Investment
Toedscruel in the anime (Image via The Pokemon Company) Toedscruel , the quirky Ground/Grass-type and fungal counterpart to Tentacruel, has made its debut in Pokemon GO during Adventure Week 2025. With its distinct design and odd gait, this convergent evolution Pokemon is raising eyebrows—and questions. Most trainers want to know: is Toedscruel actually viable in PvP or PvE, or should you save your Stardust? Here's a full analysis of Toedscruel's performance, strengths, weaknesses, and whether it's worth leveling up. Toedscruel in Pokemon GO : Stats and Typing Attribute Value Type Ground / Grass Max CP 2,738 Attack 166 Defense 209 Stamina 190 Weaknesses Ice (2x), Fire, Flying, Bug Resistances Electric (2x), Ground, Rock, Water Toedscruel's typing offers several resistances—especially Electric—but its glaring double weakness to Ice severely limits its defensive utility in many situations. Best Moveset for Toedscruel in Pokemon GO Shiny Toedscrule (Image via The Pokemon Company) PvE Moveset for Toedscruel (Raids and Gyms) • Fast Move: Mud-Slap • Charge Move: Earth Power This combination offers Toedscruel its highest possible DPS and Total Damage Output, making it a decent, if not stellar, option for Ground-type roles. PvP Moveset for Toedscruel (GO Battle League) • Fast Move: Mud-Slap (or Mud Shot for energy gain) • Charge Moves: Earth Power + Seed Bomb or Wrap • Mud-Slap provides strong damage and synergy with Earth Power. • Earth Power serves as the main nuke option. • Seed Bomb covers common threats like Water, Rock, and Ground-types. • Wrap offers neutral pressure and shield bait potential. If you're aiming for coverage, Seed Bomb is ideal. But if you're looking to apply consistent neutral damage, Wrap is a sneaky alternative. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like It might kill off the whole industry': What's at stake as US-China tariff war hits SE Asia CNA Read More Undo Toedscruel's Pokemon GO PvP Performance Toedscruel in the Great League Toedscruel is a fringe contender in Great League formats, most effective in Limited Cups or restricted metas. Strengths: • Can beat most Poison-types (barring Bug/Grass hybrids) • Counters select Water-types and Electric-weak opponents Weaknesses: • Crumbles against Ice-, Flying-, Bug-, and Fire-types • Struggles versus Flying staples like Altaria and Talonflame Acid Spray can be considered as a debuffing tech move, but Wrap typically has more consistent value. Toedscruel in the Ultra League Toedscruel requires XL Candy to reach viability in Ultra League. While it performs slightly better thanks to stat scaling, it remains a niche option due to its Ice and Flying vulnerabilities. It's a big investment for limited return. Toedscruel in the Master League Not viable. With a CP cap under 2,800, Toedscruel is completely outclassed by the powerhouses of Master League like Dialga, Giratina, and Mewtwo. PvE Analysis of Toedscruel in Pokemon GO Shiny Toedscool and Shiny Toedscruel in Pokemon GO (Image via The Pokemon Company) Category Rating Raids Below average Gym Offense Weak Gym Defense Poor Despite having a solid Ground-type moveset, Toedscruel is outshined by other Ground attackers like Groudon and Garchomp. Its bulk and typing do little to help it stand out offensively or defensively in PvE. Should You Power Up Toedscruel in Pokemon GO? Pros • Unique Ground/Grass typing with double Electric resistance • Flexible moveset adaptable to specific PvP formats • Distinctive and fun design Cons • Double Ice weakness is a major liability • Requires XL resources for Ultra League viability • Lacks PvE utility compared to better alternatives • Not competitive in open PvP metas Recommendation: Only power up Toedscruel if: • You enjoy spice picks in Limited PvP formats • You're a fan of its design or concept • You have extra Stardust and XL candy to spare Otherwise, it's more of a novelty than a necessity. Fun Fact about Toedscruel in Pokemon GO Despite looking like a jellyfish, Toedscruel is based on the wood ear mushroom. Its uncanny walk and mushroom cap may resemble Tentacruel, but this 'shroom brings its own strange charm to the GO universe. So you've never watched this brilliant anime series called Naruto? Let's fix that
If you've never screamed 'BELIEVE IT!' in a questionable British accent or tried doing hand signs to summon a shadow clone in your bedroom mirror, are you even living right? And if you don't know what Naruto is, then buckle up, you and I are going on a ride to a place that will make you look cool in front of your anime-obsessed warning (because we respect emotional damage): Mild spoilers ahead, nothing that'll ruin your soul, just enough to prepare let's get started. Naruto is a Japanese anime (and manga) series that ran from the early 2000s and has refused to leave the cultural stage ever since. It follows Naruto Uzumaki, a chaotic, orange-wearing ninja kid who's shunned by his village because he's got a massive demon fox sealed inside him. Yes, a demon fox, inside a child. That's anime for you. He dreams of becoming Hokage (the ninja world's version of Prime Minister crossed with national hero), so people finally respect him. What follows are 700+ episodes of underdog grit, explosive fights, deep trauma, painfully relatable friendships, and more emotional speeches than a graduation ceremony explaining daddy something eternally magnetic about watching a scrappy, loud, borderline annoying child who no one believes in, slowly (and very dramatically), becoming that guy. Naruto starts off with zero talent, a ton of heart, and a tragic past that would've sent most of us straight into instead of giving up, he trains, fails, trains harder, headbutts destiny, and then hugs his enemies into redemption. And even after saving the world multiple times (literally), he still ends up being the same doofus who slurps ramen and messes up paperwork. Icon!Naruto's greatest power isn't the Rasengan (spiralling sphere), it's the writers' ability to make every character feel like the main one. You've got Rock Lee, who fights with just fists and the power of youth; Kakashi, the hot, emotionally unavailable mentor; and Itachi, who may or may not be the reason you're still crying at 3 the villains have layered, tragic backstories that make you go, 'Am I siding with a mass murderer now?' Yes. Yes, you are. That's the Naruto effect. Nobody is judging the filler episodes. Annoying? Yes. But weirdly charming? Also, yes. At one point, Naruto was just 15 per cent plot and 85 per cent chaos. Entire arcs are about chasing a lost bug or helping a struggling ramen chef, and yet we watched. Because even in the absurdity, it felt like home. A place where nothing made sense, but everything felt a reason Naruto is still everywhere, in memes, tattoos, motivational speeches, and that one friend who still does the Naruto run at airports. It's not just a show, it's a shared fever dream of ambition, loss, friendship, eyeliner, and questionable you're an anime veteran or someone who still confuses Naruto with Pokemon, this is the one cult classic you owe it to yourself to experience. And trust me, once you start, you won't for those who still watch the reruns of the show as if their life depends on it, if someone asks whether you still watch Naruto, look them dead in the eye and whisper: 'I never stopped.'- Ends
