Ex-sarpanch acquitted in POCSO case
Babu Singh Lodhi, in his appeal against a sessions court order, said the medical report of the girl was negative, and his political rival Rajendra Singh was the one who lodged an FIR against him.
During hearing of the petition, a bench of justices Vivek Agarwal and AK Singh found that both Lodhi and Rajendra Singh had been sarpanch of Patharia in Damoh district, and they were political rivals.
The girl's mother admitted in the court that Rajendra Singh was the one who took them to the police station to lodge the complaint.
The minor girl also told the court that she had told Rajendra Singh about the incident first. She had gone to school after the incident and Rajendra Singh, who used to visit her home, brought her back from the school.
After coming back home, she took a bath and then went to the police station to lodge the report with Rajendra Singh. The medical report of the girl was also negative.
In view of the circumstances of the case, the court set aside the order of the trial court.

WWE legend Hulk Hogan passes on anniversary of 2015 scandal that nearly ended his legacy
Hulk Hogan. Image via:WWE icon Hulk Hogan , real name Terry Bollea, passed away Thursday, July 24, at age 71, in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The date marked a haunting coincidence— it was exactly 10 years since the racist audio leak that almost erased his legacy. Once a symbol of professional wrestling's golden era, Hogan's final chapter is now intertwined with one of the darkest moments in his career. Hulk Hogan's 2015 racist controversy, what went down? Hogan's rise was unmatched. He turned WWE into a household name in the 1980s, riding the wave of 'Hulkamania' straight into movies, television, and pop culture immortality. With his 24-inch pythons, red-and-yellow gear, and booming charisma, he was an icon. — WrestleOps (@WrestleOps) But in 2015, that image shattered. A leaked recording captured Hogan using racial slurs in a tirade about his daughter's boyfriend. 'I'd rather if she was going to f— some n—er,' he said on tape. 'I'd rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n—er worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!' WWE quickly severed ties. 'WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan),' the company announced at the time. 'WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds.' Hogan was removed from the Hall of Fame page, his merchandise vanished, and his presence across WWE's platforms was erased. In his words, it felt like he 'never existed.' According to transcripts cited by Marc Lamont Hill, Hogan also referred to fellow wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson using the n-word and 'sambo.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play this game for 1 minute and see why everyone is addicted. Undo Johnson later addressed the controversy: 'I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us... I had not known the man to be racist.' Hulk Hogan's redemption arc After the public fallout, Hogan issued a formal apology: 'Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable... and I apologize for having done it. This is not who I am,' Hogan told PEOPLE. On Good Morning America, he broke down. 'It was wrong. I'm embarrassed by it,' he told ABC's Amy Robach, explaining he was unaware he was being recorded and that he had been at the lowest point in his life. 'I wanted to kill myself,' he said. Hogan attributed his use of the slur to growing up in a rough South Tampa neighborhood where the word 'was just thrown around like it was nothing.' But he pleaded for forgiveness. 'Please forgive me. I'm a nice guy... I'm just Terry Bollea. I'm just a normal man.' In the years that followed, Hogan made efforts to rebuild his public image and raise awareness about the consequences of hate speech. Whether those efforts were enough will remain a point of debate. 'Epstein scam': Trump blames 'Democrats con job' for distraction from 'great six months of service'; hopes grand jury files will 'put an end to this'
US President Donald Trump on Thursday (local time) hit out at what he called a 'Democrat con job', after reports claimed that his name appears multiple times in files linked to the child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a statement posted on social media, Trump claimed the Democratic Party was using the Epstein case as a political weapon, to distract from what the GOP achieved in the past 6 months of his tenure. 'The Radical Left Democrats are doing everything in their power to distract and obfuscate from our GREAT six months of service to America, results of which many are saying is the BEST six months in Presidential history,' the US president wrote on Truth Social. 'They have gone absolutely CRAZY, and are playing another Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax but, this time, under the guise of what we will call the Jeffrey Epstein SCAM,' he added. Trump insisted that the public would soon see the truth, pinning hopes on the release of court materials. 'As things are revealed and, I hope will take place quickly, you will see that it is yet another Democrat CON JOB. Hopefully, the Grand Jury Files will put an end to this HOAX.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Indonesia: New Container Houses (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search ads Search Now Undo He said that everyone should witness what is in the files but no one innocent should be hurt. 'Everyone should see what is there, but people who are innocent should not be hurt. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!' The remarks come days after a Wall Street Journal report claimed that Attorney General Pam Bondi had informed Trump earlier this year that his name had been referenced repeatedly in the unsealed Epstein documents. Justice department officials have said the files do not amount to grounds for further investigation or prosecution. Nonetheless, the documents have stirred unease across party lines, with Democratic leaders now calling for full transparency. Tensions surrounding Donald Trump's links to Jeffrey Epstein have deepened, following the emergence of previously unseen photos and videos that shed fresh light on the US President's relationship with the convicted sex offender. The newly surfaced footage, reported by CNN, shows Trump laughing, conversing, and attending key events with Epstein, including the disgraced financier's 1993 wedding at New York's Plaza Hotel. Trump has long accused the Democrats of fabricating the 2016 election controversy, dismissing allegations that Russian interference played a role in his victory. Earlier, in a post on Truth Social, the president said that Barack Obama, along with Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and others, orchestrated what he described as 'the crime of the century,' alleging they falsely promoted the idea that Russian meddling helped him win the presidency. Trump insisted there is 'clear proof' against the group, maintaining his position that the controversy was politically motivated and entirely manufactured.
