The railway station and bus stands were packed with devotees.
According to official sources, about 4 lakh people witnessed the event. On Tuesday, there was demand for Udyoga Rette, Vivaha Rotte and Santhanam Rotte as the people were seen searching to pickup the Rottelu from the others who's wishes were fullfilled last year.
On the other hand, devotees made a beeline to have darshan of tombs of 12 Muslim warriors at the Dargah.
After having darshan of the tombs, devotees visited the Dargahs located in AS Pet mandal, Kasumur and Mupadu beech. The APSRTC is running special busses for the benefit of devotees.
The devotees were seen purchasing different items, sweets, household articles, cloths, etc from the shops. Around 250 shops were established on the premises of Bara Shaheed Dargah on Tuesday.
In view of heavy rush of devotees, police deployed adequate number of cops at Swarnala Cheruvu to avoid untoward incidents.
Municipal Commissioner Y.O Nandan, Additional SP CH Soujanya and Nellore City DSP Sindhu Priya visited the Bara Shaheed Dargah and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.

Pakistan on Sunday arrested a suspect after a video emerged on social media of a woman and a man being shot and killed for marrying against the wishes of their families, in a so-called honour killing, authorities said. The couple, who were not identified, were shot dead on the orders of a local tribal council last month in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, according to provincial authorities, who investigated after the video went viral. A case has been registered against all those involved, he said. The video shows people in a desert, and some pickup trucks and SUVs that they had apparently driven there. The woman is given a copy of the Quran, the Muslim holy book, and she then tells a man: 'Come walk seven steps with me, after that you can shoot me.' The man then follows her for a few steps. A local police official said the woman did not cry or seek mercy. 'You are allowed only to shoot me. Nothing more than that,' the woman says in the regional Brahavi language, translated by the official. It was not clear what she meant by 'nothing more than that'. The man, who had followed her, then aimed a pistol at her. The woman, wrapped in a shawl, stood still as shots were fired. She remained standing after two shots, delivered from close range, dropping to the ground after the third shot. That is followed by a series of gunshots. The footage then shows a bloodied man lying on the ground, close to the woman's body. Then, men are shown shooting at both the bodies. Reuters could not independently verify the authenticity of the video. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan said that in 2024, there were at least 405 'honour killings', criticising the authorities for failing to stamp out these crimes. Most victims are women, and killings are usually carried out by relatives professing to defend their family's reputation, human rights groups say. Conservative families do not allow couples to marry against their wishes. Such killings are against the law.

1 2 Madurai: A Chennai cyber crime police team on Sunday conducted inquiry with the 293rd pontiff of Madurai Adheenam, Sri La Sri Harihara Sri Gnana Sambandha Desika Swamigal, at the Adheenam mutt in Madurai in connection with the case against him for his alleged provocative remarks that could incite conflict between religious communities. The Adheenam had claimed a conspiracy to murder him, suggesting links to Pakistan and Muslim men, following a road accident at Ulundurpet in Kallakurichi on May 2. Though his claims were later found to be entirely false after a police investigation into the road accident involving his car, his claims had by then been widely shared on media and social media platforms. On Saturday, the Chennai principal sessions court granted the Adheenam conditional anticipatory ball. On Sunday, a Chennai cyber crime police team came to the mutt near Meenakshi Amman temple and conducted an inquiry with the Adheenam. His advocate told reporters that the Adheenam fully cooperated with the inquiry despite undergoing a surgery recently and suffering from illness. "The police did not permit even a helper inside during the inquiry which lasted around 45 minutes. ‘Love jihad' threat to nation's integrity, says court, gives man 7-yr jail sentence

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the convict and said such acts were 'a potential threat' to the nation's sovereignty and integrity. While acknowledging that 'love jihad' is not a legal term under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita or the Pocso Act , the court described it as a 'purported campaign by Muslim men to convert non-Muslim women to Islam by pretending to be in love.' In Nov last year, a 14-yearold girl filed a complaint at City Yamunanagar police station, naming Shahbaj and a juvenile. She alleged the boy had stalked her on her way to school while Shahbaj pressured her to befriend him. The FIR invoked sections 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of BNS, and sections 17 (abetment), 8 (sexual assault) and 12 (sexual harassment of a child) under Pocso. The defence counsel, SS Nehra, argued that the accused was falsely implicated. However, additional sessions judge Ranjana Aggarwal, in her July 17 order, said Shahbaj systematically tried to force an interfaith relationship through 'allurement and inducement.'
