Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's star-studded $10m wedding guest list 'revealed'

Metro24-06-2025
Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have jetted out to Venice this week to celebrate the severely swanky wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.
The billionaire businessman, 61, and the former journalist, 55, went public with their relationship in 2019, and announced their engagement in 2023, after four years of dating.
Details have remained under wraps over their nuptials but plans haven't gone down well with locals who have launched protests – hanging banners, stickers, posters and signs around the area condemning the celebrations.
Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner are said to be making the journey to Italy – having celebrated the bride's hen do in Paris last month – with Orlando Bloom also reportedly on the guest list.
According to TMZ, Katy Perry received an invite after jetting to space with Lauren for a controversial trip, but is currently on the Australian leg of her tour, so may be sitting the event out.
Although a full, finalized guest list has not been shared, the outlet reports that a string of famous faces received invites to support the happy couple on their big day.
Around 200 people were personally invited, with Brides.com suggesting that they were spending roughly $50,000 per person – racking up a rumored $10million bill.
Following their jaunt to space, Gayle King is thought to have been sent an invitation along with her best friend, Oprah Winfrey.
Kim has been a close friend of Lauren for years and will most likely be spotted around Venice alongside her mom, Kris, and the businesswoman's long-term boyfriend, Corey Gamble.
It was also claimed that Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Camila Morrone, Brooks Nader and Jewel scored a summons.
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria may also be in attendance, after heading to Paris for the bride-to-be's bachelorette.
TMZ reports that film producer Brian Grazer and businessman Michael Kives will be checking out the sites in Venice, with iconic fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg allegedly making the trip with her husband, Barry Diller, and son Alexander von Fürstenberg.
Lauren's ex, Tony Gonzalez, has also made the guest list – which is not surprising as his wife, October Gonzalez, attended her pre-wedding bash in France.
However, the publication alleges that her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell, will not be rubbing shoulders with the guests – though it is unclear whether he was invited.
Jeff and Lauren were first linked at the beginning of 2019, amid reports that they had been spending time together.
Shortly after, the mogul announced his divorce from ex-wife MacKenzie Scott – who he shares four children with – officially bringing their 25-year marriage to an end.
The ex-Good Day LA host also separated from her husband – Endeavour agency chairman Patrick, after welcoming two children together.
She is also mom to a son with NFL star Tony.
It is unclear how the lovebirds met, but reports claim that they grew close while working on several projects together.
Lauren has remained by Jeff's side ever since, and has publicly supported him at his space missions in 2021.
They took things to the next level two years ago, and announced their engagement after a trip to the South of France.
Unpacking the romantic moment with Vogue, she recalled: 'When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit.'
She also confirmed that she would be changing her name when they tie the knot, adding: 'Uh, yes, one hundred percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs Bezos.'
Last January, Lauren shared a glimpse into their relationship with a sweet post on Instagram, to mark her beau's milestone 60th birthday. More Trending
'Today is another day where your laughter fills our home, and that smile of yours lights up every room,' she penned, beside a string of snaps.
'Wishing you an abundance of simple joys and quiet moments of happiness. May this year be filled with everything you love, from peaceful mornings to joyous celebrations.
'I hope each day brings you countless reasons to smile, just like you give me a reason to smile every single day. Love you, and happy birthday, my love.'

Plus, scroll down for more on why supermarkets start selling Christmas stock so early FEELING FESTIVE I'm trolled for having Christmas done in July with the food shop & gifts wrapped – but us single mums must be organised Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) DESPITE December 25th being five months away, a single mother has revealed that she has already bought and wrapped her children's gifts. Not only this, but Char Chandler has also done her food shopping and stocked up on drinks and snacks for the festive season. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 A single mother has revealed that Christmas may be five months away, but that hasn't stopped her getting prepared Credit: / TikTok 2 Char Chandler has not only bought and wrapped gifts, but she's even done her food shopping too Credit: / TikTok But this mum-of-three, who 'loves Christmas' and can't get enough of shopping, has been trolled for being so prepared. Posting on social media, the brunette beauty proudly showed off her epic 'Christmas cupboard,' which despite it being only July, is already full with wrapped gifts and sweet treats. The short clip left many totally stunned, so much so that shortly after, Char uploaded a follow-up video in response to a rude remark from a troll. The comment read: 'F**k. Right. Off. It's. Only. F*****g. July' and to this, Char clapped back and said: 'I really don't get it, why can't you just be happy for someone, show it love, or scroll past? 'I'm happy, I'm organised and I don't have that Christmas rush and the hassle.' Char then urged people to 'be nice' and confirmed that "you never know what people are going through.' Not only has she purchased a variety of gifts for her little darlings, but she's also stocked up on Pringles, Mini Cheddars, Twiglets, nuts, tins of biscuits and a variety of crackers. As well as this, she's also purchased three bottles of fizzy drinks and dessert sauces, as well as popcorn, pretzels and marshmallows. Char later confirmed: 'My kids are 14, 13 and 6 - my eldest two know [the gifts] are there. It's just the youngest we hide them from and he doesn't know the cupboard exists.' Not only this, but Char confirmed that she likes to be organised and 'spread the cost.' I feel like a failure for only getting my 9-year-old cheap bits off TikTok for Christmas, but trolls slam my 'sob story' As well as having Christmas gifts to buy, she also has the cost of the summer holidays, her eldest son's birthday and two holidays coming up. So when asked 'why so early?', Char set the record straight and explained: 'Because I am a single parent and I want the best for my children so I spread the cost to make it the best I can.' I will stock up more as the months go on Char Chandler The bargain hunter later revealed that she got her wrapping paper from Amazon and acknowledged that she wraps each of her children's presents in different wrapping paper, rather than using gift tags. And for those wondering if Char's food shopping would go out of date before the special day, the savvy mum clarified that she checked the dates on her items and apart from a bottle of Coca-Cola, which goes out of date on 31st December 2025, everything else expires 2026 and onwards. Despite having a hefty stash already, the content creator later shared: 'I will stock up more as the months go on.' Why do shops start selling Christmas stock so early? Charlotte Harrington, the manager at Summerhill's garden centre in Basildon, Essex, explained: 'For many, many years now, we've opened our Christmas department on the August bank holiday. "The stock comes in early and we gradually start putting it out on the shop floor. This is just a small fraction of what we have. 'But our Christmas displays are so spectacular it takes time to get everything set up, so we have to start early. 'It may seem a little odd putting them out now — especially with the hot weather. 'But we have to plan so far in advance.' Social media users react The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 239,900 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 10,800 likes, 2,298 comments and 900 shares. But social media users were left totally divided by Char's organisation - whilst some thought it was 'a great idea', others weren't as complimentary. One person said: 'Fail to prepare, prepare to fail! This is organisation at its finest.' By the time Christmas comes, they might not like it. That'll be my worry TikTok user Another added: 'That's why there's so many kids go without because parents don't do this! Why not buy all year so you know your children have the best Christmas!!' A third commented: 'That's actually a great idea. Don't have to spend a mint all at once and save money by getting stuff each week.' Meanwhile, someone else beamed: 'You are an amazing mum and very organised. I hope you have a magical Christmas 2025.' But at the same time, one user questioned: 'How do you know what to get them? By the time Christmas comes, they might not like it. That'll be my worry.' And another wrote: 'I would just forget what I had brought.' BBC Death in Paradise's 'favourite' detective teased for spin-off appearance as star drops hits

Kris Marshall from BBC's hit show Death in Paradise has teased that he could appear in the show's Australian spin-off Kris Marshall, known for his role as Detective Humphrey Goodman in Death in Paradise, has sparked excitement among fans after hinting at a possible cameo in the show's Australian spin-off, Return to Paradise. Kris originally took over from Ben Miller, who portrayed Richard Poole until his character was dramatically killed off. ‌ Kris played Humphrey Goodman from the show's third season through to the end of season six, where he exited the series to pursue a love story with Martha Lloyd, portrayed by Sally Bretton. ‌ However, their romantic tale didn't end there, it continued in the spin-off series Beyond Paradise, which follows the couple as they relocated to the Devon countryside to be closer to Martha's family, the Mirror reports. ‌ Although he's currently focused on his role in Beyond Paradise, Kris hasn't ruled out making an appearance in Return to Paradise, which has been praised for featuring the franchise's first female lead. The show, already greenlit for a second series, stars Anna Samson as Detective Mackenzie Clarke, bringing a fresh dynamic to the ever-expanding Death in Paradise universe. Speaking with Woman's Day Magazine about a potential crossover, Kris shared: "In the future, I'm definitely not ruling it out, no." He added, with a hint of mystery: "Never say never." ‌ If Kris does join the cast of Return to Paradise, he wouldn't be the first detective from the original series to appear. Ardal O'Hanlon, who played DI Jack Mooney, made a guest appearance in the spin-off's debut season. His character returned as Mackenzie's superior from London, and rumours suggest he may return again for the second series of the Aussie drama. ‌ The Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise storylines have crossed before. In Beyond Paradise's first season, fans were delighted to see Humphrey return to the Caribbean with Martha, marking the first on-screen meeting between Humphrey and current DI Neville Parker. Though producers have yet to confirm another crossover, filming for Return to Paradise is already underway and the possibility of Humphrey Goodman appearing has fans buzzing. ‌ Adding fuel to the speculation, Kris Marshall was recently spotted in Australia, prompting fans to wonder if a cameo is already in the works for Return to Paradise. One fan speculated on a Facebook fan page: "I wonder what Humph's doing here in Australia? Perhaps a Return to Paradise cameo." Another enthusiast responded, showing just how happy the cross over would make them. They wrote: "That would be spectacularly awesome - DI Goodman in Return to Paradise - with DI Mooney - hope so!". A third chimed in, stating: "Yes, my favourite detective, this needs to happen." For those eager to catch up, Death in Paradise is available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.

Post Malone enjoys a legal victory in complicated child custody case with ex-fiancee Jamie Park

Post Malone 's ex-fiancée Hee Sung 'Jamie' Park filed to dismiss their child custody case in Los Angeles this week. The dismissal is considered a win for Post as California allows for higher payments for child support, but their legal battle is still ongoing. The rapper-turned-country star, 30, and Hee Sung welcomed their daughter in 2022. The couple split in November 2024 after their daughter turned two with Post and Park filing custody petitions in the states of Utah and California, respectively. This comes just weeks after his split from his girlfriend Christy Lee following their whirlwind romance on the heels of his baby mama breakup. The custody battle will continue in Utah, where Post filed because that is where he had been splitting 50/50 custody with his ex as a hands-on dad, per TMZ. That's where Park had been living before she moved to California at the beginning of the year. The latest update comes a little over two months since the musician submitted an emotional declaration in court in an effort to convince a Los Angeles judge to throw out his ex's custody lawsuit in California. In Park's original filing, she originally asked for joint legal custody and visitation for the rapper but she wanted primary physical custody. Back in May, the Grammy-nominated artist, whose weight loss has been a topic of discussion among fans, filed for her case to be tossed when he told the court the child's mother only filed in Los Angeles for perceived strategic advantages among the court battle. His attorney Laura Wasser pointed out to the court that the female child already has a number of essential ties to Utah. They include her nanny, pediatrician, as well as classes she's been enrolled in for music, physical education and swimming, the attorney told the court in legal docs. In Park's legal documents, submitted last month to the Los Angeles Superior Court's family law division, she refers to her and Post's daughter simply as DDP. The two-year-old's mother filed for full physical custody, but she only requested joint legal custody and is also open to giving Post visitation rights, aka 'parenting time.' Park, who reportedly split from Post near the end of 2024, alleged in her new legal documents that DDP has lived with her since November, via TMZ. Her court filing, in which she demands that her ex cover her legal costs, also revealed that their daughter was born in May 2022. As for child support, she said: 'The court may make orders for support of the children and issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party.' Post reportedly recently submitted sealed custody documents of his own in Utah, where he keeps his primary residence, but he has yet to give a response to Park's new filing.
