
Four men hurt in mass shooting in Marshall Square neighborhood
It happened in the 2700 block of South California Boulevard around 1:46 a.m.
Chicago police said officers responded to Mt. Sinai Hospital for a call of a person shot.
Initial reports indicated that four men, 25, 36, 32, and 33, were inside a parked vehicle when a dark SUV drove past, and someone from inside fired shots into the victim's vehicle.
The 25, 26, and 32-year-olds suffered multiple gunshot wounds around the body and are in critical condition. The 33-year-old suffered shots to the right leg and is in fair condition.
As of Saturday, no one is in custody.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.

41-year-old New Bedford man killed in New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge crash
NEW BEDFORD – A 41-year-old New Bedford man was killed in a two-car motor-vehicle crash on New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge. At approximately 11 a.m. July 2, New Bedford Police and EMS received a 911 call regarding a serious motor vehicle crash on the bridge, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. Upon arrival, police located a 2015 Chevy Silverado which was occupied by a 26-year-old man who was transported by EMS for minor injuries. The Silverado had a moderate amount of damage to the front end and came to a rest in the right lane of travel facing eastbound. The second vehicle involved was determined to be a 2001 Mazda Miata which was observed to have catastrophic damage to the front of end of the vehicle. The Miata was located on the eastbound side of the highway facing west as it lost control while crossing the bridge and struck the Silverado. The Miata's driver was identified as 41-year-old Gregory Crook McGuire of New Bedford. Crook McGuire was transported to St. Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The crash closed the bridge for several hours. Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office also responded to the scene. This matter is under investigation although charges are not anticipated at this time. Key city centre route closed after crash
A main route in and out of Southampton city centre has been closed following a crash. Police said a vehicle had crashed into barriers on Millbrook Road West shortly after 06:00 BST. A stretch of the road has been closed from Paynes Road to Regents Park Road in both directions. Drivers are being urged to take an alternative route and avoid the area if possible.
