McBride made all eight of her 3-point attempts in the first half and the Lynx was 13 for 14 as a team, leading to a 67-33 halftime lead.
Minnesota's 53-point win broke the league-record for largest margin of victory on the road, a record set in 1998 by the Houston Comets. Minnesota also set a team record with 17 3-pointers in 27 attempts.
McBride missed both of her 3-point attempts in the second half, coming up short of the league-record of nine 3-pointers in a game. She finished with 24 points.
Jessica Shepard had 18 points and 14 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season and second in nine days for the league-best Lynx (24-5). MVP candidate Napheesa Collier scored 18 points but left the game late in the third quarter with an ankle injury. Natisha Hiedeman added 17 points.
Jewell Loyd had 12 points and reigning league MVP A'ja Wilson scored 10 for the Aces (14-14).
The Lynx hit 4 of 5 3-pointers in the first five minutes of the game to build an 18-8 lead. They went on to hit 6 of 7 from deep and led 35-17 heading to the second quarter. During one stretch, Minnesota made nine consecutive 3s and led 67-33 at halftime. They pushed the lead to 92-49 entering the fourth quarter.

Bills sign OL Dan Feeney
The Bills moved to add a veteran offensive lineman on Monday. The team announced the signing of Dan Feeney to their 90-man roster. Offensive lineman Rush Reimer was waived in a corresponding move. Feeney spent the 2024 season with the Vikings and appeared exclusively on special teams in eight games. Feeney was a third-round pick by the Chargers in 2017 and he started 57 games while playing guard and center over four seasons with the team. Feeney has also played for the Jets and Bears. Reimer signed with the Bills after going undrafted earlier this year. He played at Cal and Montana State during his time in college.

Yankees' Cody Bellinger Predicted to Ditch Bronx for Multi-Year Deal With NL West Squad
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The New York Yankees lost Juan Soto last offseason, but added Cody Bellinger in a trade with the Chicago Cubs. Bellinger has played himself into a potentially lucrative contract in free agency. Bellinger is slashing .276/.327/.500 with 20 home runs. He has a $25 million player option for next season, but considering how he has played, he would presumably opt out and find a better deal on the open market. The former MVP should have plenty of suitors, including the Yankees. However, Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller predicted he would sign a "three-year or four-year deal with the (San Francisco) Giants." NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 29: Cody Bellinger #35 of the New York Yankees looks on after the game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium on July 29, 2025 in New York... NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 29: Cody Bellinger #35 of the New York Yankees looks on after the game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium on July 29, 2025 in New York City. MoreThe Giants' season has taken a wild turn. They were once in a position to challenge the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West, but ended up being sellers at the trade deadline. Buster Posey has shown he is willing to be aggressive. He signed Willy Adames to a $182 million deal, traded for Rafael Devers and gave Matt Chapman a $151 million extension. His team needs another outfielder, and Bellinger could be a great fit. The team traded Mike Yastrzemski at the deadline. Jung Hoo Lee and Heliot Ramos figure to be everyday players, but Bellinger could round out the outfield. For the Yankees, losing Bellinger would be a huge blow. However, they could turn the page to Spencer Jones. The team decided to hold on to Jones at the trade deadline after his recent surge in Triple-A. They clearly believe in him, and he could be part of the reason the Yankees won't be willing to pay top dollar to keep Bellinger. Boston Red Sox Offered Trio of Top Prospects for All-Star
Teams had several months to work out deals, but as usual, the MLB trade deadline created a lot of last-minute activity, and the Boston Red Sox made some of the most aggressive offers. While the Red Sox did swing some deals, trading for Dustin May and Steven Matz, they came up short in their pursuit of a new No. 2 starting pitcher behind Garrett Crochet. Though, as WEEI's Rob Bradford tells it, the Red Sox's failure to add another frontline starter wasn't for a lack of trying. They reportedly offered two top-100 prospects to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for All-Star starting pitcher Joe Ryan. While a deal couldn't be struck, Boston offered various packages that included middle infielder Franklin Arias, outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia, and left-handed pitcher Payton Tolle for Ryan. Arias ranks 33rd on top 100 prospects list. Garcia and Tolle ranked 88th and 92nd, respectively. Boston also registered an interest in trading for Miami's Sandy Alcantara, who, like Ryan, didn't get moved before the trade deadline passed on July 31. In the end, the Red Sox weren't able to bolster the top of their starting rotation, but they clearly tried to be aggressive, up to a certain point.
