Todd Chrisley Jokes He Was ‘Embarrassed' for Daughter Savannah on 'The Masked Singer': ‘She Didn't Care How Bad She Was'
Todd Chrisley said he was too 'embarrassed' to watch his daughter Savannah Chrisley appear on The Masked Singer
Todd, 56, joked that Savannah, 27, 'cannot sing' during an interview for an ABC News Studios special
Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, 52, were released from prison on May 28 after receiving presidential pardons on May 27Todd Chrisley isn't holding back about daughter Savannah Chrisley's decision to appear on The Masked Singer.
Todd appeared with Savannah and his wife, Julie Chrisley, in an interview for an ABC News Studios special — which premiered June 29 on Hulu and Disney+ and will air June 30 on GMA — and they discussed Todd and Julie's recent presidential pardons and their family's plans for the future.
At one point in the interview, the conversation turned to Savannah's stint on season 11 of Fox's reality singing competition series. Todd, 56, admitted that he couldn't bring himself to watch his daughter's performance (she was eliminated after the first episode of the season).
'I missed The Masked Singer because I was embarrassed for her when I knew she was gonna do that. Because she cannot sing,' Todd joked, causing Savannah and Julie to laugh.
'Yeah, I was awful,' Savannah, 27, interjected.
'I guess the beautiful part of that was that she went and did that, and she didn't care how bad she was,' Todd added.

Savannah's parents acknowledged how grateful they were for their daughter, stating that she kept the family together during their incarceration.
'A child should not have to take care of their parents. It's the parents' job to take care of the child,' Todd said during the emotional conversation. 'But for whatever reason, God blessed us with a child that is so unlike so many other kids out there. I said to her many times, 'You were built for this moment.' '
'I hate that it happened the way that it did,' Julie, 52, added.
'Because her life was on hold. Yes, they are her siblings,' she continued, referring to Savannah taking care of her younger siblings while her parents were in prison, 'But it's not her job to raise them.'
Savannah, who has been the family's primary breadwinner for the past several years, per ABC News, launched a podcast in 2022 called Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley and has appeared on several reality competition shows since her parents' legal troubles began.
