The restaurant that redefined 'fine dining' by fermenting ants and serving moss is packing its knives and flying into L.A. René Redzepi's legendary Noma, the three-Michelin-starred Copenhagen icon once crowned World's Best Restaurant five times over, is coming to town for a months-long pop-up in 2026.
The official teaser dropped today with a moody montage of citrus, mushrooms and the Hollywood sign, promising 'Noma LA 2026' and inviting fans to sign up for reservations. Cue mass hysteria.
While details are still under wraps (price tag TBD but likely sky-high), we know this won't be your average tasting menu. Noma residencies are less 'imported restaurant' and more full-blown cultural immersion. Redzepi's team—which includes foragers, fermentation wizards and globe-trotting chefs—has previously decamped to Kyoto, Tulum, Brooklyn and Sydney. L.A. has been on his radar for years. Now, it's official.
'We've been working on America for a while,' Redzepi told the Los Angeles Times, noting that he fell for the city after a laid-back stint in Manhattan Beach with his family. Farmers markets, taco crawls with Roy Choi, Thai feasts with the Night + Market crew—it all sealed the deal. 'There's a creative energy I find in Los Angeles that is based on this grassroots experience, not on money,' he said. 'It's actually more rare than you think in food these days.'

The plan? Five to six months of pop-ups, collaboration, hiking (yes) and all the culinary R&D you'd expect from the man who turned reindeer moss into a status dish. If all goes smoothly—visa gods willing—Redzepi will land in L.A. this November to start scouting and soaking it all in.
As for the menu, your guess is as good as ours. Noma's Kyoto residency leaned hyper-local with kaiseki-inspired dishes and temple garden herbs; its Tulum takeover used jungle-foraged ingredients. What will L.A. taste like through Noma's lens? Citrus peels? Mulberry leaves? Insect tacos? Don't rule anything out.
Just don't wait too long to sign up. If history is any guide, Noma LA will book out faster than you can say 'koji.' Dreams, as Redzepi commented on Instagram, really do come true.

The result is a list of the 10 best cities for nighttime tourism, and Singapore ranks at a very respectable No. 4 in the world. For one, Travelbag found that this little red dot has almost 450 venues open late at night. We reckon that this covers expected spots such as bars (which number among the best in the world) and nightclubs (both mainstream and under-the-radar). But let's not forget other attractions you can hit up past dinnertime: how about a moonlit ride on the Singapore Flyer or a heartfelt karaoke night at a KTV studio? The real clincher, though, is that Singapore is so damn safe: we score 77 out of 100 on the after-dark safety measure. Meghan launched her As Ever Napa Valley Rose 2023, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on Tuesday. The beverage, priced at more than £65 for a minimum three-bottle order, had only appeared to be available for US customers to buy, with shipping addresses limited to America. Meghan and the Duke of Sussex left the UK and moved to California five years ago for a new life after stepping down from the working monarchy. A post shared by @aseverofficial The wine went on sale at 4pm UK time, but the site was updated less than hour later to signal stocks were sold out. In a post on Instagram, the duchess' As Ever brand said: 'It's here! Raise a glass to the newest addition to the As ever family. Our beautiful Napa Valley rose is now available'. A short clip showed the wine being poured into a glass, with accompanying sound. The pale pink wine, in a clear bottle with a white gold-rimmed label, was launched on a dedicated where an over-21 birth date must be inputted to enter and where the drink was described as: 'A delicately balanced rose with soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish.' The site adds: 'Reminiscent of the finest Provencal styles, it's crisp, pale in color, and effortlessly elegant – crafted for slow afternoons and golden-hour gatherings. 'This rose captures the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments through its thoughtfully crafted blend.' Three bottles cost 90 US dollars (£65.64), six bottles cost 159 dollars (£115.97) including a 12% discount, and 12 bottles are priced at 300 dollars (£218.81) including a 17% discount. Shipping, which begins on July 9, cost an additional flat rate 20 dollars (£14.59) per order. Meghan's wine has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 14.5%. According to the Drink Aware charity, most wines have an ABV of around 11-14%. Meghan added apricot jam to her collection in June after restocking her online store, with items selling out for a second time in a row.
