Kartik Aaryan says he'll faint if he experiences anything supernatural
After tickling the audience's funny bones with back-to-back horror comedies Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and the upcoming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,
Kartik Aaryan
is now ready to step into an all-new fantastical world with Naagzilla, a fantasy-comedy where he is reportedly set to play a shape-shifting snake.
As he ventures into yet another supernatural universe on screen, Kartik insists he has never encountered anything remotely eerie in real life—and wants to keep it that way.
In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the actor revealed, "I have never experienced the supernatural, and I don't even want to, as it would be very problematic. While doing horror comedy, you can react for a long time, and you can show fear etc., but if it happens in reality, I will faint (laughs).'
The actor, who has become a familiar face in genres that flirt with the mystical and bizarre, admitted that he draws a strict line between reel and real when it comes to the paranormal.
When asked whether he believes in nazar (evil eye), Kartik shared a candid anecdote involving his mother. 'No, not really anything for nazar. But I remember back during Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, I was falling ill regularly, so mummy ne woh mirchi ghuma ke jalayi thi.
