BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based Earth observation and decision intelligence firm SatSure has entered into a strategic partnership with Hyderabad-headquartered startup Dhruva Space to offer fully-managed Earth Observation-as-a-Service (EOaaS) solutions.
The solutions will be completely managed — from satellite design and launch to data analysis and delivery of sector-specific insights.
The tie-up comes on the back of key advancements by both firms. SatSure's subsidiary KaleidEO recently completed successful qualification of its sub-metre resolution optical and multi-spectral Earth observation payloads, while Dhruva Space has invested in building India's largest private satellite integration and testing facility, a 2.8-lakk-sq ft campus.
The new MoU envisions the integration of their complementary capabilities to cater to both strategic and commercial clients, using indigenously developed, high-reliability technologies. The alliance will combine KaleidEO's data analytics strengths with Dhruva's proven expertise in small satellite platforms, systems integration, and launch support to deliver one-stop EO solutions.
The EOaaS offering from this partnership is expected to enhance access to high-quality, analysis-ready Earth observation data, with applications ranging from disaster response and agricultural intelligence to climate monitoring and urban planning.

By pooling resources and infrastructure, the two firms aim to make sovereign, cost-effective and timely EO solutions.
SatSure founder & CEO Prateep Basu said the partnership reflects the power of Indian innovation and will significantly enhance their ability to offer sovereign Earth observation services.
Echoing his views, Dhruva Space founder and CEO Sanjay Nekkanti, said: 'By uniting our capabilities — from satellite platform development to launch integration and ground support — with KaleidEO's advanced payloads and analytics, we can drastically reduce mission timelines and offer actionable intelligence for critical use cases across sectors.'
SatSure, founded in 2017, has built a reputation for delivering decision intelligence by combining geospatial data with artificial intelligence. Its products are used globally in sectors such as agriculture, finance, energy, aviation, and utilities. The firm spun out KaleidEO in 2022 to focus on high-resolution EO payloads.
Dhruva, established in 2012, has grown into a vertically integrated space engineering player supporting both civilian and defence clients. Its new facility will support end-to-end satellite manufacturing, from design and engineering to integration and testing, for spacecraft weighing up to 500 kg.

Saraswat Co-operative Bank to acquire fraud-hit New India Co-operative Bank

Saraswat Co-operative Bank Ltd (SCBL) on Tuesday said it will acquire the beleaguered New India Co-operative Bank Ltd (NICBL), in a relief to depositors who were unable to fully access their funds after the central bank imposed restrictions following a ₹ 122-crore scam. The Reserve Bank of India has given its in-principle approval after Saraswat Bank approached the central bank with its proposal for amalgamation, and a final nod will depend on the shareholders of both the banks. Following the merger, Saraswat Bank will take over all assets and liabilities of New India Co-operative Bank, and the interests of depositors will be fully protected, its chairman Gautam E. Thakur said at a press conference in Mumbai. The merger of the entities is expected to happen in August-September and the turnaround of the fraud-hit bank might take one-two years, Thakur said. Due diligence has been conducted and a special audit is being conducted for the merger. The bank is working with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and other law enforcement agencies to ensure fairness and accountability, he added. Mint earlier reported that the Reserve Bank of India in February allowed depositors to withdraw up to ₹ 25,000 from New India Co-operative Bank, after superseding the board of the Mumbai-based New India Co-operative Bank due to poor governance standards and irregularities in its lending business. A former general manager of the bank, Hitesh Pravinchand Mehta, was allegedly involved in siphoning ₹ 122 crore from the lender. He was later arrested. NICBL has recorded a negative net worth of ₹ 102.74 crore for FY25. It reported a total business of ₹ 3,560.52 crore, which includes deposits of ₹ 2,397.85 crore and advances of ₹ 1,162.67 crore. NICBL has around 200 employees currently and 90 employees have resigned after the scam. Saraswat Bank has reported a total business of ₹ 91,814 crore as on 31 March 2025, including deposits of ₹ 55,481 crore and advances of ₹ 36,333 crore. The bank reported a net profit of ₹ 518.25 crore in FY25. It has maintained gross NPAs at 2.25% and net NPAs at zero for the third consecutive year. The capital to risk-weighted assets ratio (CRAR) of the bank stands at 17.43% Saraswat Bank, India's largest urban co-operative bank, has acquired more than seven financially weak co-operative banks over the past few years, rescuing over 800,000 depositors. Saraswat Bank has helped troubled depositors without any haircut, ensuring full protection of interest of depositors, Thakur said. After the acquisitions, the combined business of these seven weak banks has grown from ₹ 1,900 crore to ₹ 9,200 crore in five years.

"Despite the cautious undertone, derivatives activity suggests underlying bullish pressure. Perpetual funding rates have flipped positive across major exchanges, indicating a build-up in leveraged longs." Liquidity data shows a cluster of short positions near $107,500, seen as a key inflection point. A breach could trigger a squeeze toward $111,000. Riya Sehgal, Research Analyst at Delta Exchange, noted signs of short-term weakness despite Bitcoin recently closing its highest monthly candle ever. "The price structure has turned fragile post-June 30, with lower highs and lows, and it's now trading below its 21- and 51-day simple moving averages. The $108,000 breakout attempt failed, with immediate support seen at $106,800–$106,500," she said, as quoted ET. Ethereum hovered near its 21-day SMA. 'A decisive breakout above $110,000–112,000 could propel BTC toward $125,000. Failure to break out might lead to a retest of the $100,000 mark.' He added that ETF inflows and expectations of US Fed rate cuts are driving long-term bullish sentiment, though geopolitical risks and short-term volatility remain concerns. The CoinDCX Research Team said Bitcoin continues to consolidate below resistance with rising bearish pressure, while Ethereum is losing momentum. "However, altcoins like XRP, BNB, SOL, and TRX are showing relative strength," the team noted. Bitcoin Cash and Algorand rose over 4%, while Pudgy Penguins and Four gained 3.3% and 2%, respectively.
