Nick Kyrgios adds new twist to Carlos Alcaraz-Emma Raducanu dating rumors with ‘love triangle' comment
All eyes are on Emma Raducanu this week as the 22-year-old Brit looks to make a deep run at the All England Club, where she burst on the scene with a fourth-round appearance in 2021.
Raducanu went on to win the 2021 U.S. Open, becoming the first qualifier in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam singles title.

She has battled to recapture that form since, but the early signs this year at Wimbledon are good.
The Brit cruised through to the third round with a comfortable win over 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova.

It will be the second meeting between the talented pair at a grand slam this year — Raducanu won their second-round match at the Australian Open.
Kyrgios isn't playing Wimbledon this year as he manages injury, but speaking to TalkSPORT, the 2022 finalist joked about a 'love triangle' between Raducanu, Carlos Alcaraz and British No. 1 Jack Draper.

'I don't know, I think it's a love triangle,' Kyrgios joked lightheartedly.
'Draper, Alcaraz, Raducanu. They're fighting over Raducanu I think, I'm not sure.'
He went on to praise all three players, who look set to make a deep run at Wimbledon.

'I think (on) the outside (she looks happy), I don't know who's making her happy,' Kyrgios said.
'The tennis world loves a love story, they love to try and put two together but Raducanu is No. 1 British female player at the moment, she's doing fairly well.
'Obviously, winning a grand slam at 19 is never easy, it comes with a lot of expectations from the outside world. But, you know, as long as she's happy.'

Raducanu was spotted cheering Alcaraz on when he won the grass court tournament at Queens last month.
The 22-year-old will team up with Alcaraz to play mixed doubles at the U.S. Open later this year, and she was quizzed about her relationship with the five-time Grand Slam winner ahead of Wimbledon.
'We're just good friends,' Raducanu smiled in her pre-Wimbledon press conference.
The press conference moderator swiftly ended the line of questioning, with Raducanu joking: 'Way to wrap up!'

Raducanu appears to relish playing in front of a home crowd, and she was all smiles after her second-round win.
Draper is the world No. 4 on the back of making the U.S. Open semifinals last year and winning the Indian Wells title in March.
The 23-year-old Brit will be out to make it well past the second round, which is his best result at the All England Club, and challenge for the title.

'I think Jack Draper is going to contend for grand slams and Wimbledon is probably his best chance to do that,' Kyrgios said.
'Having that home crowd is special. It's like playing in their own background.'
Power couple split up
The news isn't as happy for Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa, with reports the tennis power couple have broken up again.
Badosa lost in the first round at Wimbledon to Katie Boulter, while Stefanos Tsitsipas retired hurt while trailing France's Valentin Royer, 6-3, 6-2, in the first round.

Spanish publication HOLA Magazine reports the couple, who were due to play the US Open mixed doubles together, have split up.
Tsistipas and Badosa were in a relationship for a year from May 2023, before announcing they were parting ways.
They got back together weeks later and had shared plenty of insights into their relationship on social media, but it seems Tsitsipas and Badosa have split once more.

The 26-year-old Greek player said he may have to contemplate retiring from tennis as he struggles with an ongoing back injury.
'I don't know what to do,' Tsitsipas said after the match.
'I feel like I'm left without answers. I don't know. I've tried everything. I've done an incredible job with my fitness. I've done an incredible job with my physiotherapy, so I've maximised on everything that I possibly can do.
'Right now, I'm just absolutely left with no answers. I don't know what to do.'

F1 team Alpine appoints Steve Nielsen as managing director
ENSTONE, England (AP) — Formula 1 team Alpine has appointed Steve Nielsen as managing director to oversee its daily operations. The team said in a statement Friday that Nielsen will start in his role in September ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. He will be reporting to the team's executive advisor Flavio Briatore. The pair has been enjoying a strong relationship for years. Nielsen's appointment came in the wake of Oli Oakes' departure from the Team Principal role in May, a move that had left Briatore covering Oakes' duties. 'The appointment marks a return to the team for Nielsen, who is one of the most long-standing and well-respected figures in the sport and has previously spent multiple stints at Enstone for Benetton and Renault, most notably as Sporting Director during the 2005 and 2006 championship winning years,' Alpine said. Nielsen has also worked with other teams and held roles at the FIA and Formula One. Alpine is 10th in the constructors' standings ___ AP auto racing:

UFC star launches boxing career with Matchroom
UFC star Molly McCann has swapped the cage for the ring and signed a long-term promotional deal with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, with plans to become world champion within a year! The 35-year-old from Liverpool will make her professional debut later this year following a memorable career in MMA. Advertisement McCann, a former ABA Champion as an amateur boxer, takes up boxing once again after a decade spent competing in MMA. The popular Liverpudlian kicks off her new career in the squared circle campaigning at bantamweight under the guidance of Danny 'Whitho' Whithington at No Limits ABC in her home city. Close friend of Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett, Molly is also cousins with Irish superstar, Katie Taylor. Nicknamed 'Meatball' after working in her local Subway, she is one of the most successful and influential female fighters in British MMA history, and now hopes to win a World Title in the professional boxing ranks, specifically within eight fights. Advertisement 'This was always the dream,' said McCann. 'As everyone knows, I've boxed before. My weight didn't get added to the Olympic Games, so the only other option was MMA. MMA has given me a phenomenal life – one that boxing could never give me, but my love was always in the squared circle. 'I cannot wait to fight. I can't wait to show everyone the pedigree of boxing that I've got. People will probably think that I'm just going to run in and just try and take chins off, which is correct, that is what I'm going to do! But I'll do it in an educated manner. I worked so hard on building the brand in MMA and changing stereotypes. 'There was only one place I was coming. There was offers from everywhere, but I did send Eddie a little message. I said it's better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. There's no other place I'd rather be. This is the premier show for me. I've known everyone at Matchroom for quite a long time, and I've got a good relationship with Eddie. 'I've always been at the shows for the past few years causing trouble and now I get to bring all the scousers with me and have a go. The ultimate goal is to be a World Champion. I've got to earn my stripes like everyone else. I want a World Title within eight fights.' Advertisement 'I'm incredibly excited to announce Molly McCann as Matchroom Boxing's latest signing,' said Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn. 'Molly will compete now as a professional boxer – about time! Former ABA champion. Everyone knows the ability as a boxer. She has been a massive star within the UFC and built her profile globally. We're delighted to start the journey with her, and we're delighted she's chosen to sign with Matchroom. 'We're going to be fighting her all around the world. There's going to be some massive nights. I had the pleasure of watching her cage side in the UFC. The energy and the fanbase of this woman is incredible. She's a great person and a great fighter, and now she's putting the gloves on for real. The boxing journey is about to begin. 'We're talking about Molly starting somewhere around the Bantamweight division. There's some really good fighters there. She is a professional fight novice at the moment. She's not a boxing novice; she's got great pedigree. The movement of her career is going to be really interesting. The most important thing is to be active. We need to keep building her boxing brand now. 'She has the ability to be a huge star in boxing. We're looking at around six or seven fights in year one, and then after that we're pretty much ready to go. You're going to see her fighting for a World Championship within 12 months I think.'
