Katy Perry May Be Moving on With a Politician Weeks After Claims Orlando Bloom Had a ‘Wandering Eye' While They Were Together
The singer and former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, are reportedly hanging out. According to People, Trudeau and Perry stepped out for a meal together in Montréal on Monday, July 28. The two were seen eating at restaurant Le Violon, where they met with the chef during dinner and headed to the kitchen after their meal to thank the staff.

TMZ reports the two enjoyed cocktails and several dishes, including one that featured lobster. Sounds very date-ish.
Like Perry, Trudeau is recently separated. In August of 2023, he and his wife Sophie Grégoire announced they were splitting after 18 years of marriage. The couple shares 3 kids, Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
In an Instagram post published in both English and French at the time, Trudeau wrote: 'Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate. As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build. For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy. Thank you.'
Katy's breakup with Bloom has been even more public. There were reports that the negative reception of Perry's latest album, 143, was a big reason for the couple's unhappiness. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' People reported. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.'
Other sources indicated Bloom didn't exactly love Katy Perry's Blue Origin space flight, with a source telling the Daily Mail. 'He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous. He said it was cringeworthy. Embarrassing. This was in the middle of a fight, and it hurt her feelings.' That, plus reports of Bloom having a 'wandering eye' and checking out other women, after an old photo showed him doing just that with Kim Kardashian while Perry was next to him, might have been the end of their relationship.
Page Six's source even said about the two, 'It's over. They are waiting till her tour is over before they split.' Ironically, the two didn't even make it to the end of Perry's tour before they announced their split. However, everyone has been taking it with a grain of salt. Another source told Us Weekly, 'It's true they're spending time apart. Their friends don't know if they are permanently split…The first time they broke up it was about two years after they got together. It's happened a few times, but they've always worked it out before.'
If there's something that could prevent an eventual reunion, it might just be a new relationship. We'll just have to wait and see if Perry and Trudeau continue to hang out.

House Democrats sign on to letter urging Trump to recognise Palestinian statehood
More than a dozen Democratic members of Congress have signed on to a letter that urges the Trump administration to recognise Palestinian statehood, in a draft copy shared with the Guardian. Congressman Ro Khanna of California is leading the letter addressed to the president and secretary of state Marco Rubio, and is joined by several House progressives, including Greg Casar of Texas, Pramila Jayapal of Washington, and Maxwell Frost of Florida. 'This tragic moment has highlighted for the world the long overdue need to recognize Palestinian self-determination,' the letter reads. 'Just as the lives of Palestinians must be immediately protected, so too must their rights as a people and nation urgently be acknowledged and upheld.' The letter comes as human rights experts sound the alarm over the unfolding famine in Gaza, and as some of Israel's key western allies, including France and Canada, have recently pledged to recognise a Palestinian state at the UN general assembly. The UK also made a similar pledge if Israel could not agree to a ceasefire by September. The Democrats' letter adds that a viable Palestinian state 'will need to fully recognize Israel and adopt a framework to guarantee Israel's security, including the disarmament of and relinquishing of power by Hamas in order to be broadly embraced by the community of nations'. A similar framework was proposed by French president Emmanuel Macron last month. Khanna's office said the letter would be sent out after 16 September, which coincides with the UN general assembly that runs from 8-23 September this year. 'This is the moment for the United States to officially recognise a Palestinian state,' Khanna told the Guardian. He added that he only began outreach 'this past week' but characterised the response as 'overwhelming'. The Trump administration, however, has made it clear that it does not agree with the growing list of countries agreeing to recognise a Palestinian state. In a White House briefing last week, press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president views statehood as ultimately 'rewarding Hamas'. The administration's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff travelled to Gaza last week to assess aid conditions on the ground, and Trump told reporters on Sunday that the US is 'putting up money to get the people fed'. But in recent weeks, there have been several cracks in the unconditional support for Israel in Congress, including from Republicans. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a Maga stalwart, characterised the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a 'genocide' in a post on X last week, breaking from the GOP's fervent backing of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military campaign. While a vote to bar US arms sales to Israel ultimately fell short last week, a record number of Democratic senators voted in favour of the two resolutions to stop the sale of offensive weapons to Israel.

Meet Cain Culto — the sexy Colombian singer showing plenty of skin online
There's a new hottie taking over the music scene! Cain Culto is the latest viral sensation as his catchy tunes and sexy clips are fully embracing queer culture. Quite literally, the handsome singer is rocking a jockstrap, sniffing poppers, and freely dancing in his vibrant music videos while also tapping into his Colombian roots. The star grew up in both Kentucky and Florida in a very religious household, so music has proven to be the escapism he's needed to love the skin he's in. "For so much of my life, I was ashamed of my femininity, sexuality, and even just my anger. With my music, I'm just not editing myself. We all have our journey of overcoming our show. My healing journey has been wherever things were suppressed, it's about expression. If it makes me feel confident, I'm going to dress that way," Culto tells PRIDE. Culto has recently taken off on TikTok with his raunchy new single "KFC Santería," which serves as an ode to his upbringing while also celebrating everything that makes him unapologetically queer. "We are creating culture! As artists, we get to paint that narrative for ourselves. That's what queerness is about. We create our own language and visuals. That's what motivates me to create." The sky is certainly the limit and Culto is ready to push the gay agenda even further with his debut EP expected to drop later this year. Fans can follow Cain Culto on Instagram here. Barbara Eden leads tributes to Loni Anderson, ‘WKRP in Cincinnati' star
Tributes continued to pour in following the death of Loni Anderson, the Emmy-nominated actress best known for her role as Jennifer Marlowe on 'WKRP in Cincinnati.' Anderson died over the weekend at the age of 79, just days before what would have been her 80th birthday. Her death was confirmed Sunday, Aug. 3, by longtime publicist Cheryl J. Kagan, who said the actress died following 'a prolonged illness.' Barbara Eden, 93, led the remembrances with a personal message posted on Instagram. The 'I Dream of Jeannie' star and San Francisco Conservatory of Music alum described Anderson as a 'darling lady and a genuinely good person.' 'Like many, I am absolutely stunned and heartbroken,' Eden wrote in the caption of a photo featuring the two friends. 'She was a real talent, with razor smart wit and a glowing sense of humor… but, even more than that, she had an impeccable work ethic.' Eden added, 'Loni, you were one in a trillion, my friend, and even a trillion more.' Anderson starred on 'WKRP in Cincinnati' from 1978 to 1982, earning critical acclaim for her portrayal of a savvy, self-possessed radio receptionist who challenged the era's television stereotypes. The role earned her two Emmy nominations and three Golden Globe nods, cementing her as one of the most recognizable faces on television. Former co-stars and colleagues added their own tributes. Tim Reid, who played DJ Venus Flytrap on 'WKRP,' called her 'one of the dearest friends I've had in my life's journey. Such a wonderful woman.' Actress Morgan Fairchild remembered her as 'the sweetest, most gracious lady.' Tori Spelling, who portrayed her daughter on the series 'So Notorious,' credited Anderson with leaving a 'special imprint on my heart, soul, and very being.' 'When they say 'don't meet your heroes,' they weren't talking about Loni Anderson,' Spelling added. 'She was everything and more to everyone.'
