Helen Flanagan opens up about incident on Tube where man launched foul-mouthed tirade at her over having 'so much Botox'
The ex-Corrie star, 34, took a trip to London to let her hair down with her pals this week, but she told her Instagram followers that a stranger appeared to ruin it.
Helen admitted she was already struggling with mum guilt, as her three children Matilda, Delilah and Charlie were at home whilst she enjoyed a few nights away in the big city.
But her time away was seemingly ruined by an incident on public transport.
On her Story, Helen began: 'I was on the Tube and there was this man sat across from me, and there was this girl about my age, like [sat] across.
'And I noticed that the man took a picture of this woman on the Tube.'
She continued: 'Anyway, I probably - it's a bit embarrassing for me to say this.
'I should have said something but I actually felt a bit intimidated by the man, so I just thought, I felt like I couldn't say anything.'
Helen added: 'Anyway the woman next to me was braver than me and she just said, "Excuse me, did you take a picture of that woman? I just saw you take a picture of that woman."
'And like, he just ignored her and pretended that he couldn't hear her. And then, eventually he was really aggressive, and like, told her to "eff off" and "shut the eff up", and oh my God it was awful.'
Helen said she then had to intervene as she is a 'girl's girl'.
'So then obviously, like I'm a real like girl's girl and I just said, "Don't effing speak to her like that. I saw you, you did take a picture of her. You're lying."
But she wasn't prepared for what came next, adding it was 'really awful'.
She carried on: 'He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him.
'He said to me, it was like the weirdest thing he could have said, "You've got so much Botox in your forehead", and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, "I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw."
The soap star laughed as she added: 'To be fair, I am dead soft. I don't get in arguments with people. I was only sticking up for this girl because of course, I would always stick up for other women.'
'I didn't know what to say, this sounds tight but like, he deserves it - he wasn't the most attractive of men.
'I couldn't say anything to him, so I said, "I feel sorry for you".
'It's not nice as a woman where you actually feel intimidated he was just an absolute idiot.'
The doting mum-of-three then shared a previous experience of her own that made her feel uncomfortable on public transport.
Not long after her son Charlie was born, she says she felt like a man was videoing her as she was breastfeeding on the train.
Helen said there was no one around to witness it happen and so she didn't say anything, which led her to speak out about what she saw happen on the Tube this week.
It comes after Helen ranted about the loss of her driving licence and numerous parenting woes in a chaotic social media post, five months after she was banned for speeding.
The ex Corrie actress, who in January t old the court her ex-footballer boyfriend Robbie Talbot was driving her £66,000 Audi Q7 when it was caught speeding twice , complained what a 'pain in the a***' it had been without a car and had been unable to run errands or go shopping for essentials due to living so remotely.
Helen was banned from the road for six months, despite claiming she was struggling financially and would not be able to afford taxis to get her children to school.
Taking to her Instagram Stories she explained her ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) had caused her to mix up paperwork to reapply for her licence, meaning the process would now be delayed further.
'I literally can't tell you what a pain in the a*** not having [my driving licence] because I live in the middle of nowhere, and of course I haven't been driving'.
'It's just been so b****y annoying, for example we are out of loo roll now and I can't pop out to the shops to get loo roll so my friend has to bring me loo roll'.
She also revealed that she an ex Scott Sinclair, with whom she shares, Matlida, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie three , were back 'co-parenting in the same house' despite their bitter split.
Helen, who has been forced to put their former £1.5M family home on the market , split from the footballer, 36, in 2022 after 13 years and earlier this month took a vicious swipe at him ahead of Father's Day.
Explaining the situation she said: 'So it's Matilda's birthday and Delilah's birthday, they had the same due date, and there is seven days between their birthdays and that's like hectic.
'So Scott is off at football but we are back co-parenting in the same house, which we don't usually do,'.

Ellen DeGeneres explains why she's selling her UK home after a year
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are selling their luxurious Cotswolds farm estate for $30 million, less than a year after moving from the US. The couple, known for house flipping, purchased the property for $20 million in spring 2024 and undertook extensive renovations, completing them in under five months. They are selling the estate, known as Kitesbridge Farm, to find a home better suited for their animals, particularly Portia de Rossi's horses. DeGeneres revealed that their move to the English countryside in November 2024 was prompted by the US election, specifically the re-election of Donald Trump. The 43-acre property, originally built in the 1700s, features seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a party barn, a fitness centre, and a two-bedroom guest house.
