Helen Flanagan opens up about incident on Tube where man launched foul-mouthed tirade at her over having 'so much Botox'
The ex-Corrie star, 34, took a trip to London to let her hair down with her pals this week, but she told her Instagram followers that a stranger appeared to ruin it.
Helen admitted she was already struggling with mum guilt, as her three children Matilda, Delilah and Charlie were at home whilst she enjoyed a few nights away in the big city.
But her time away was seemingly ruined by an incident on public transport.
On her Story, Helen began: 'I was on the Tube and there was this man sat across from me, and there was this girl about my age, like [sat] across.
'And I noticed that the man took a picture of this woman on the Tube.'
She continued: 'Anyway, I probably - it's a bit embarrassing for me to say this.
'I should have said something but I actually felt a bit intimidated by the man, so I just thought, I felt like I couldn't say anything.'
Helen added: 'Anyway the woman next to me was braver than me and she just said, "Excuse me, did you take a picture of that woman? I just saw you take a picture of that woman."
'And like, he just ignored her and pretended that he couldn't hear her. And then, eventually he was really aggressive, and like, told her to "eff off" and "shut the eff up", and oh my God it was awful.'
Helen said she then had to intervene as she is a 'girl's girl'.
'So then obviously, like I'm a real like girl's girl and I just said, "Don't effing speak to her like that. I saw you, you did take a picture of her. You're lying."
But she wasn't prepared for what came next, adding it was 'really awful'.
She carried on: 'He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him.
'He said to me, it was like the weirdest thing he could have said, "You've got so much Botox in your forehead", and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, "I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw."
The soap star laughed as she added: 'To be fair, I am dead soft. I don't get in arguments with people. I was only sticking up for this girl because of course, I would always stick up for other women.'
'I didn't know what to say, this sounds tight but like, he deserves it - he wasn't the most attractive of men.
'I couldn't say anything to him, so I said, "I feel sorry for you".
'It's not nice as a woman where you actually feel intimidated he was just an absolute idiot.'
The doting mum-of-three then shared a previous experience of her own that made her feel uncomfortable on public transport.
Not long after her son Charlie was born, she says she felt like a man was videoing her as she was breastfeeding on the train.
Helen said there was no one around to witness it happen and so she didn't say anything, which led her to speak out about what she saw happen on the Tube this week.
It comes after Helen ranted about the loss of her driving licence and numerous parenting woes in a chaotic social media post, five months after she was banned for speeding.
The ex Corrie actress, who in January t old the court her ex-footballer boyfriend Robbie Talbot was driving her £66,000 Audi Q7 when it was caught speeding twice , complained what a 'pain in the a***' it had been without a car and had been unable to run errands or go shopping for essentials due to living so remotely.
Helen was banned from the road for six months, despite claiming she was struggling financially and would not be able to afford taxis to get her children to school.
Taking to her Instagram Stories she explained her ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) had caused her to mix up paperwork to reapply for her licence, meaning the process would now be delayed further.
'I literally can't tell you what a pain in the a*** not having [my driving licence] because I live in the middle of nowhere, and of course I haven't been driving'.
'It's just been so b****y annoying, for example we are out of loo roll now and I can't pop out to the shops to get loo roll so my friend has to bring me loo roll'.
She also revealed that she an ex Scott Sinclair, with whom she shares, Matlida, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie three , were back 'co-parenting in the same house' despite their bitter split.
Helen, who has been forced to put their former £1.5M family home on the market , split from the footballer, 36, in 2022 after 13 years and earlier this month took a vicious swipe at him ahead of Father's Day.
Explaining the situation she said: 'So it's Matilda's birthday and Delilah's birthday, they had the same due date, and there is seven days between their birthdays and that's like hectic.
'So Scott is off at football but we are back co-parenting in the same house, which we don't usually do,'.

Love Island fans praise Conor as he delivers stern warning to Harry after his actions are exposed at the Grafties
LOVE Island fans have praised Conor Phillips as he delivered a stern warning to Harry Cooksley. The Grafties award ceremony completely changed the dynamic in the ITV2 villa as relationships came crumbling down. 8 8 8 In recent weeks on Love Island, Helena Ford became exclusive with the professional footballer. After this, Shakira Khan ended her partnership with Conor as she claimed that she had 'suppressed emotions' about her former partnership with Harry. Later, Harry pulled Shakira for a chat where he flirted with her and suggested that it would "be a good idea" for the duo to meet up after the show. Later, this clip was shown to all the islanders on the big screen leaving Helena fuming and the rest of the islanders in shock at his behaviour. "I trust someone, and there's a level of respect there. And, like, the level of respect isn't there. "Because for me, what is the crack like? What's the story like? Is it just sort of a thing where you want what you can't have? "Why are you doing this? Because you're prodding her [Shakira], because she's trying to get over [you] and she's trying to move on, but flirting with her and stuff is still prodding her. "And so what is like? What is that for? I'm so close to Shakira, [I can see] how actually hurt she is, her experience in here is nearly ruined. "Then obviously having a situation, like her experiences here is nearly going to be ruined if she doesn't get over this." He added: "And for what reason like just, that's what I'm trying to know." Love Island star Harry makes very honest confession to Shakira as they chat after explosive Grafties and Helena split Harry then said that hearing what Shakira had to say in their conversation on the steps inside the villa "changed things for him". But Conor warned Harry to properly think about the connection he does share with Helena before he makes a rash decision. "Just before you do anything with Helena, just think about honestly what you do want, because I don't know if Shakira will [get back with you]," he continued. Man, that's like, you know, that's how you feel. "No one can blame you for how you feel, but you just need to communicate it man. "You know what I mean? Rather than coasting along and then people getting blindsided." In his beach hut confessional, Conor couldn't help but dissect the situation further. "I don't feel bad for Harry unfortunately. You're [a] 30 year old man, I think you should maybe know a bit better than to play around with people's emotions like that." Droves of fans took to social media to praise Conor for his stern words after watching scenes. Writing on Instagram, one wrote: "Connor stood on business with this statement." A second quoted: "Connor 'I don't feel sorry for Harry … he shouldn't play with people's emotions … he's a 30 year old man," followed by three clapping hand applause emojis. "One thing about Conor is he's gonna tell the truth," stated a third fan. As a fourth said: "Liked how Conor really asked the right questions and showed that's not fine how he acted." Adding: "He also kept it to himself what Harry said until Helena sorted her relationship with him. Respect 8 8 8 8 8

Louise Redknapp wishes son Charlie a happy 21st birthday as she shares sweet tribute to 'charming young man and partner in crime'
Louise Redknapp has wished her son Charlie a happy 21st birthday as she shared a sweet tribute. The singer, 50, shares two children, Charlie and Beau, 16, with ex footballer Jamie Redknapp, who she split from in 2017 after 19 years of marriage. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Louise shared an array of snaps of herself and Charlie over the years - from baby snaps to recent pictures. 'How did this happen?!' Louise wrote. 'My baby is 21 years old today!!! 'Chaz I am so proud of you and the charming young man you have become, you've been my partner in crime and shadow since day one and nothing makes me happier than seeing you living your best life. 'You have an incredible future ahead of you keep on working hard and absolutely smashing it. I would however like to request that you now at the age of 21 learn how to wash up, turn the lights off and pick your clothes up off the bedroom floor… but maybe we'll get there for next year. 'Happy Birthday Charley, Have the most amazing day! We love you so much. Love Mum Xxx.' Earlier this year, Louise revealed why she was painted as the 'villain' following her split from ex-husband Jamie. In an interview, Louise opened up about being accused of walking out on her family and how everyone had an 'opinion'. She told the Independent: 'I was the villain. I'd been lucky in my career because for many years I didn't really have a lot of scrutiny. Then bang, everybody's got an opinion.' 'Anything someone could perceive as negative, I cut out. Nothing I said was right. To defend myself was wrong. To not defend myself was wrong. 'I felt like I was walking up a one-way street with just nowhere to go on it.' Louise also discussed her divorce from Jamie on the Happy Place podcast and credited her two sons for keeping her going during the breakup. She said: 'If I didn't have my kids, I think I would've just given up. I think I just knew that my kids were my everything and they needed me.' The singer admitted that the public scrutiny of her marriage breakdown made the situation even harder to deal with. She added: 'But I can honestly say, when you're going through something so personal in your own turmoil in your own way, but then to get the barrage of judgment and nastiness. 'I never realised people could be so unkind and say such terrible things. I blew my mind.' 'I was going through a lot as it was, I was trying to be strong for my kids, whatever had gone on in our life was private - which I do believe that you're entitled to no matter what. 'And God, I was such a villain, and I was breaking like I was absolutely breaking. 'Beyond what I thought it was possible for a human to break and all along I'm still trying to be a mum. 'And it was just like every time I went out, and I was trying to put a brave face on and do things, like that was wrong if I didn't."

‘America's favourite dancer' joins Strictly line-up
'America's favourite dancer' will join Strictly Come Dancing. Alexis Warr, who was given the accolade in 2022 for winning the television show So You Think You Can Dance, will seek to make a similar impression on British audiences when the new series airs this autumn. She will be joined by another newcomer, Julian Caillon, the Australian ballroom dancer and physiologist. The announcement comes amid changes to the Strictly line-up following a series of scandals on the show. Giovanni Pernice was left out of the 2024 line-up following an accusation by Amanda Abbington, the actress and former dance partner, of 'inappropriate, mean, nasty and bullying' behaviour in training. He was cleared of any physical wrongdoing following a BBC investigation, but a complaint was upheld for his use of 'belittling' language. Fellow Italian Graziano di Prima was initially confirmed for the 2024 series, but was let go by the BBC after reports of misconduct with his partner Zara McDermott. In an Instagram post at the time, he wrote: 'I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it's best for the show that I step away.' Warr said: 'I've admired Strictly for years, so joining this incredible family is such an honour. I can't wait to step into the ballroom, pour my heart into every moment, and share my love of dance with the UK.' Caillon, who shares videos on social media of his work training with the elderly, added: 'I've watched it for years, especially cheering on all the amazing dancers I know and work with who've been part of it. I can't wait to get stuck in, have some fun, and be part of something special.' The new pair will join fellow professionals Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.
