THIS is the moment a yob attacked cops with a Molotov cocktail, knife and a hatchet in a police station rampage over his "grudge" with authority.
Alexander Dighton, who had been referred to the anti-terrorism programme Prevent in January 2024, attacked three police officers at Talbot Green police station in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales.

The 28-year-old knifed one of the cops in the leg and knocked another unconscious after storming the station.
Footage released today shows Dighton first trying to hurl a firebomb at a police van but when it did not ignite, he started a blaze by pouring lighter fluid on the vehicle.
The thug was then captured smashing the windows on two cars using a pole before terrified officers: "I'm fed up, I'm done".
He managed to shake off the 50,000-volt Taser fired at him before continuing to smash the windows of the police station.
Dighton has now been locked up for life with a minimum of 22 years after pleading guilty to ten charges related to the January 31 attack.
The Old Bailey was told he had developed a "grudge" against authority and believed he was "damned from birth".
Prosecutor Nicholas Hearn said his sister had reported him to Prevent due to concerns he held "racist and anti-Muslim views" and was likely to be involved with incel groups.
During the attack on the police station, officers attempted to Taser him but it had no effect.
He swung a pole at one officer and punched one in the head during the savage attack.
Dighton then knifed Det Con Jack Cotton in the leg - narrowly missing his femoral artery - as three cops attempted to restrain him.
When officers searched him, they found Dighton was wearing body armour and was carrying a hatchet in his bag.
He later told police he did not consider the scope of damage, "merely that blood had to be spilt".
The thug also admitted he was motivated by an anti-government ideology but denied intending to kill a police officer.
Dighton said: "Authority is not my problem. It's the use of authority which to me is the problem, the use of authority I have seen since I was 15, that's my problem."
He admitted the attempted murder of Detective Constable Jack Cotton, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to Sergeant Richard Coleman, assaulting Pc Joshua Emlyn and threatening Pc Stephanie Fleming with an adapted wooden pole.
Dighton also pleaded guilty to the attempted arson of a police van, two counts of damaging police property and having an adapted wooden pole, a knife and a hatchet.
Speaking after the case, Frank Ferguson of the Crown Prosecution Service said Dighton wanted to attack the Government and the state.
"We were able to show that Dighton's attack was not only pre-meditated and meticulously planned, but that his motivations were connected to terrorism.
"While it is not a criminal offence to hold extreme or offensive views, it is one to carry out attempted murder and attack police officers because of them."

Speaking to the MailOnline the woman said: "I looked at the camera and my blood ran cold. "The guy came into the room eight times. He was looking in between my legs, at my intimate parts, looking at my face. "He forgot all about the burglary. He was more interested in looking at me." The burglar eventually fled the Marbella home undetected as he swiped a purse with 300 euros inside. The rest of their valuables and expensive goods were all exactly where they left them - including in the couple's 18-year-old son's room next door. Moment hero cop saves girl, 11, from 'paedo trying to force her into flat…with perv now facing chemical castration' This has led the victim to fear that the man wasn't simply looking to burgle the home but had much more sinister plans. She said: "That man didn't come to my house to steal, he came to do something to me. "I was alone the night before. What if he'd come then?" The mum says she now faces recurring nightmares when trying to sleep with one of her major fears stemming from what may have happened if she had woke up. She woke up shortly after the thief fled to go to the toilet but believes if she crossed paths she would have screamed. "The intruder might have been carrying a knife or a pistol," she feared. The woman has now been forced to undergo psychological treatment to process the trauma. "I am still traumatised by this. Before I go to the toilet at night, I look at the cameras," she revealed. "If my boyfriend leaves the bed at night, I jump. I am now seeing a psychologist." The brave victim released the video shortly after taking it to the police as she said it was the only way to get justice and catch the "sick predator". Local police are investigating the case and analysing the footage but are yet to identify the suspect. They believe he likely entered the house through a terrace door. Marbella is already on high alert for burglaries with residents warned to bolster up their security systems as cops hunt for a thief in the area. Chilling footage shows a man in a mask and grey hoodie breaking and entering into a series of villas between San Pedro de Alcantara in Marbella and Benahavis. Dubbed the San Pedro Prowler, the man is regarded as an expert lock picker. Among the recent stolen items include 10,000 euros in cash and a 30,000 euro watch. 5 The thief stole 300 euros from the home Credit: EnBocaDeTodos18J

Find out the life-saving steps for giving CPR to an infant below HOLIDAY HORROR I had to drag my son's blue lifeless body from a swimming pool after grave holiday error Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A FAMILY gathering took a horrifying turn when a mum had to drag her toddler's "blue" and lifeless body out of a pool when he "drowned". While her quick actions were able to save his life, she's now raising awareness about the importance of water safety. The family were sat in the back garden while all the kids played in the pool. Emily said her son Holden had his arm bands on all day long while playing with his cousins, and she took them off once he was done playing. But the afternoon took her horrifying turn when she realised the two-year-old was no longer sat next to her - and spotted him floating at the bottom of the pool. Screaming, she pulled Holden out but he had turned "blue" and wasn't breathing - she thought he was dead. Emily's husband, Tyler Carlin, pounded on his son's back causing a "gallon" of water to come out of his mouth, before Emily's cousin started performing CPR. Miraculously after five rounds of CPR they managed to get Holden breathing again by the time the paramedics arrived. Emily, from Chesapeake, Virginia, US, said: "We had gone to celebrate the Fourth of July, we had a bunch of family around, we had travelled up for the weekend. "Everyone had floaties [inflatable arm bands and life jacket] on, everyone was playing with Barbies along the pool. "We had taken Holden out of the pool, he said he was done and he was eating some chips sitting next to me, and he asked if he could take his floaties off. My 8-week-old Brodie made a forceful cry - next thing I was giving him CPR to try and save his life "We were getting ready to give him a nap so I took his floaties off and my daughter came up to me. "She wanted to get in the pool without her floaties, she's learning to swim and I was telling her no. "When I turned around and I was talking to the people at the table, my mum and my husband both said," Where's Holden?' "I sat up and my heart sank, I knew something was wrong. I ran over to the pool and I saw him. I screamed, I've never screamed so loud. "His head was at the bottom and his feet were up. I pulled him out and he was completely blue from his stomach up. I knew at that moment he was dead. He wasn't alive. His eyes were closed, it was very scary Emily Carlin "I knew at that moment he was dead. He wasn't alive. His eyes were closed, it was very scary. "Everyone came rushing over, it happened so fast. My husband grabbed him from my arms and my aunt was calling 911. "My husband turned him over and pounded his back. It alarmed me, I didn't want to hurt him anymore. About a gallon of water came out of his mouth. "I learned later that that saved his lung because if we had started CPR then, that water could have gone into his airways. "We laid him down and my cousin Randy came over and started doing CPR, he's never done it on a child and he started doing compressions and mouth to mouth. "He did it three times and on the third time he heard a cough and some chips came out and then he went back, we lost him. "The fourth time we heard a little cry, and the fifth time he really cried. It was the sort of a baby cry, I was terrified in the moment but I knew I had my baby back. "All I could think of was I've lost my baby. He is my youngest, that would have killed me. He came back and right at that moment the paramedics arrived." 'My boy was back' Holden was rushed to Inova Fairfax Hospital via ambulance, where he was given oxygen and was drifting in and out of sleep. Emily said doctors tested Holden for brain damage and broken bones from the CPR, but found that everything was normal. Doctors reportedly told the parents that if Tyler had not made sure to get the water out of Holden's lungs, the water could have blocked his airways. A few hours later, Holden was awake and able to communicate with his parents and was discharged the next morning. Emily said: "We were in the ambulance and they put oxygen in him and monitored him, he kept going in and out of sleep, they said his body was overworked. "They had to do exams to see if he had any brain damage from the lack of oxygen, but luckily he was fine, he could squeeze your hand and follow the light. They said the CPR saved his life by far, that getting the water out was life-saving Emily Carlin "He started to talk a little bit more, he was coming back. By 8pm he was playing on the iPad, talking to us, and my boy was back. "By 11pm that night he was able to breathe on his own. We were able to go home the next morning because he was doing so well. "They said the CPR saved his life by far, that getting the water out was life-saving. "Holden said 'I went in the pool and I wanted to play but I couldn't get out' and my heart sank. I think he wanted to play with the Barbies that were in the pool." Emily is now planning for Holden to start swimming lessons and for the family to get therapy, while raising awareness about water safety. Emily said: "I'm very careful with my children at the pool and the beach, my kids have always had floaties. 6 Doctors said if if dad Tyler had not made sure to get the water out of Holden's lungs, the water could have blocked his airways Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media 6 Luckily Holden didn't suffer any severe health consequences Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media 6 Emily is now planning for Holden to start swimming lessons and for the family to get therapy, while raising awareness about water safety Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media "I have a lot of guilt about it. He doesn't know how to swim. It was so quiet, no one heard a splash or anything. There wasn't any music playing. "We are starting therapy, all of us need it. I'm in the process of starting swimming lessons for him. "Kids love water and don't understand the safety around it, they don't get why they wear floaties. It's very important to know CPR." Emily is now fundraising due to the "overwhelming medical bills" and ongoing care - including therapy, trauma support, and private swimming lessons. To help, you can donate here.

Home Office launches probe into use of asylum seeker payment cards for gambling

More than 6,500 transactions were attempted online and at sites such as casinos, slot machine arcades and national lottery retailers in the past year, according to a Freedom of Information request made by PoliticsHome. The payments online were blocked each time, while in some other cases cash withdrawals were made in or near gambling venues, located using the terminal's ID number. When asylum seekers arrive in the UK, they are given a chip and pin debit card called an Aspen card, which is intended to provide weekly support to buy essentials such as food, clothing and toiletries. Shadow home secretary Chris Philp said 'this madness has to end' (PA) For people being housed in hotels that provide meals, the allowance is £9.95 a week, and for those in self-catered accommodation the allowance is usually £49.18 a week. The cards are taxpayer-funded and there are around 80,000 users in the UK. The data showed a peak of 227 attempts to use the cards to gamble in a single week last November. At the lowest point, there were 40 attempts to use the cards to gamble in a week last July. Shadow home secretary Chris Philp said: 'This Labour Government is allowing illegal migrants to gamble using taxpayers' hard-earned cash. This madness has to end.' A Home Office spokesperson said: 'The Home Office have begun an investigation into the use of Aspen cards. 'The Home Office has a legal obligation to support asylum seekers, including any dependants, who would otherwise be destitute.'
