Conservative influencer reveals why she is LEAVING Texas to return to liberal California
Blaire White, 31, fled her Hollywood home in 2021 amid rising homelessness and the state's tyrannical Covid policies to move to Austin, Texas.
However, she announced this week that she's ready to return to California after spending the last four years in Austin.
Addressing the major life change in a YouTube video, the transgender social media star shared her surprising reason behind the shock relocation.
'I was born there, so it is home for better or for worse,' Chico-born Blaire said.
'There are a lot of problems with California and a lot of people like to write off New York and California and say, "Just let them go overboard, let them burn," and I find that to be a very un-American perspective to hold,' she continued.
'California in my opinion is the most beautiful place in the world. Yes, I said the world,' she added.
'And it's even more of a shame because of that that it's run by demons.'
While Blaire said that Los Angeles has now become 'ghetto and downtrodden,' she explained that she wants to return to the City of Angels to help improve it.
'I want to be someone who's part of the solution. I want to be someone who doesn't run from problems,' she insisted.
'I moved to Texas in the middle of Covid. So I moved to Texas in crisis. The lockdowns weren't ending, so much trauma from that, so much craziness, so it was kind of like an evacuation,' she continued.
The YouTube star said that she's also eyeing a run for political office in the future and is excited to add her voice to California politics as a political commentator.
Blaire is one of the most popular political influencers online and has previously appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, Infowars with Alex Jones, Dr. Phil and more.
She's not the first social media star to return to California after moving to Texas either.
Shortly after Joe Rogan relocated to Austin in 2020, comedian Tim Dillon quickly followed.
However, within just a few months Dillon ditched the red state to return home to Hollywood.
'It's a horrible city without a soul,' he told fellow comedian Whitney Cummings when describing his stint in Austin.
'It's not the live music capital of America. It's three heroin addicts busking with guitars. There's zero talent here in any capacity,' he continued.
'There's three restaurants that are good and I've been to all of them twice.'
In another interview with the American Redact podcast, he said that Austin 'can't be compared to New York and Los Angeles.'
In recent years, many people have left New York and California for Las Vegas, Florida, Texas, and Montana, citing high crime rates and taxes in their home states for the move.

They officially divorced in July 2023. And now the former couple are expected to face each other in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday when Alice will ask Judge Josh Stinn to increase the $4,500 a month Ioan is currently paying. In the run-up to this week's court hearing, obtained court documents filed by Alice in which she claimed poverty and was so broke that she had to borrow money from friends and set up a GoFundMe account that raised $18,000 in donations. She said that she and her girls - Ella, 15 and Elsie, 11 - were recently evicted from their LA home because she couldn't afford to pay the $6,500 per month rent. She contended that she had to 'burn through' her savings to pay living expenses and legal fees. And she insisted Ioan - who married his now-pregnant new wife Bianca Wallace, 32, in April - can afford to pay more than the $3,000 per month child support and $1,500 spousal support he now pays. But Ioan is fighting his ex's cash demands and in his own court filing, poured scorn on Alice's claims, saying that she 'purposely got herself evicted…. intentionally ceasing paying rent and instead taking the children on a vacation trip to Europe.' Her motive, he said, was to 'support her false public narrative of financial destitution in an attempt to further harm my reputation……as a fraudulent way to strong-arm me into paying more support than I can afford.' Ioan also maintained that subpoenaed bank records show that, far from being broke, Alice made more than $130,000 in 2024 and is expected to earn a similar amount this year - a claim that Alice called 'false and misleading.' In his recent court filing, Ioan told how he was 'mortified' to have received 'dozens of stressed messages from our minor children in which they have parroted Alice's false and manufactured claims of becoming homeless in the immediate future.' But in her new court documents, Alice denies manipulating the children to send plaintive messages to their father. 'I absolutely did not ask the children to send messages to (Ioan) about our eviction and pending homelessness,' she said. 'The children are well aware of our financial distress and the eviction.' Alice also pooh-poohed Ioan's accusation in his most recent court filing that his ex is still violating a three-year domestic abuse restraining order 'by physically stalking, ongoing harassment and publicly posting denigrating things about me on social media.' She called the restraining order Ioan's effort 'to muzzle me and violate my First Amendment rights.' And, she added. 'There is absolutely no evidence of stalking…. I have no idea where he and his wife live, nor do I have any interest in stalking them. This is plainly ridiculous.' Ioan sought - and was granted - the restraining order in August 2022 after telling the court how Alice had 'engaged in a smear campaign of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts…aimed at intimidating me and my fiancé Bianca Wallace while alienating our two young children from me.' With the restraining order due to expire next month, Ioan is going back to court August 1 to ask Judge Stinn to extend it, and his new wife, Bianca Wallace, is expected to testify against Alice. The Kennedy Centre's Opera House could be renamed after Melania Trump. Republican Senator for Idaho Mike Simpson proposed the change during a House appropriations committee markup of the centre's funding. Committee members were considering if the change should be made on Tuesday. Mrs Trump is an honorary chairwoman of the Kennedy Centre's board, as is tradition for first ladies. The Opera House is the Washington DC-based institution's second largest theatre, behind the Concert Hall. Mr Trump sacked the chairman of the Kennedy Centre board and its 13 trustees soon after coming into office – making himself chairman and Richard Grenell, his Venezuela envoy, the interim leader. He said his reason for terminating the contracts of members of the board of trustees is that they did not 'share our vision for a golden age in arts and culture '. Since Mr Trump's takeover, the Kennedy Centre's new president has expressed a wish to scrap the current programming and has so far announced a 'big, huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas'. Mr Trump's takeover of the centre – one of the foremost cultural institutions in the US – has been greeted with dismay in the arts world. Lin Manuel Miranda, the brain behind the Broadway musical Hamilton cancelled shows at the centre in March, in protest over Mr Trump. Issa Rae and the musician Rhiannon Giddens also cancelled shows. Trump ally Alina Habba dramatically ousted from top administration job
Alina Habba was ousted this week from her Trump-appointed role as interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. A panel of Democrat-appointed federal judges decided that Habba, President Donald Trump 's close ally and ex-lawyer, could not continue to serve beyond the temporary 120 days allowed. The order issued on Tuesday directs Desiree Leigh Grace, the first assistant prosecutor to Habba, to assume the interim U.S. attorney role immediately. This means after a whirlwind few years in Trump's inner circle – including serving as counselor to the president in the first few months back in office – Habba no longer has an official role within his administration. However, Trump has formally appointed Habba to the permanent position, so she may not be out of the fold for long. But she's running into several roadblocks to final confirmation. Her nomination to take on the role permanently was halted in Congress after opposition from New Jersey's two Democratic Senators, Cory Booker and Andy Kim. Democrats have accused Habba of pursuing 'frivolous and politically motivated' prosecutions despite her relative inexperience as a prosecutor. This potentially is in reference to her role in charging Newark Mayor Ras Baraka with trespassing after he was arrested during a confrontation with border agents at a New Jersey migrant holding facility this summer. Additionally, in an April 2025 post on X, Habba said she would pursue charges against politicians who violate Trump's executive orders, which many interpreted as politically-motivated action. In the lead-up to the vote on her future, Habba gathered her staff on Thursday for a bittersweet all-hands meeting where she acknowledged she might soon have to vacate her role, a person familiar with the meeting told the Daily Mail. They said she thanked her staff and gave a hopeful message that she would be able to continue in her job as U.S. Attorney as she wades through a shaky Senate confirmation process to be Trump's permanent head in New JErsey. The majority of judges who voted on Habba's career future were appointed by Democrats. But a source close to Habba told the Daily Mail that she had been meeting with the judges for weeks before the vote to develop relationships and discuss a path forward should she get the permanent confirmation to the role. Trump has grown frustrated with the bureaucracy in Congress and has called for the Senate to stay in session through their August recess. He wants the upper chamber to quickly confirm all his nominations, which includes Habba, even though Republicans have been working at record speed to get through his picks. The person close to Habba said she 'would never back down' from the job Trump chose for her. Habba told her staff, 'Hopefully this isn't goodbye,' according to the person familiar with the meeting. They said that Habba was making sure she was able to thank them for their work if she doesn't get a chance to do so later. The judicial meeting on Monday presented judges with the possibility of a choice between two potential candidates – First Assistant U.S. Attorney Desiree Grace and former U.S. District Court Judge Noel Lawrence Hillman. Both are registered Republicans. The former received the next interim appointment, which she will hold for 120 days pending whether any permanent appointment is confirmed. The judges could have also opted to appoint Habba to the role, which they did not choose to do. If the judges decided, however, not to take action this week, Grace would become the next acting U.S. attorney by default. The Senate could intervene at any time to confirm Habba, who is Trump's nominee for the position. The president nominated Habba for a full term as U.S. Attorney on July 1. She had already served as acting attorney since departing the White House in March and her 120 days was up this week.
