Alright, Euphoria fans, let's talk about the elephant in the room: we've been waiting FOREVER for Season 3, and the anticipation is killing us. Since that jaw-dropping Season 2 finale back in February 2022, we've been refreshing our feeds, hoping for any crumb of news about Rue, Jules, and the rest of the East Highland crew. So, when is Euphoria Season 3 finally hitting our screens? What's the vibe going to be? And who's even coming back? Here's everything we know so far. When Is Euphoria Season 3 Coming Out?
Drumroll, please… Euphoria Season 3 is officially in the works, with cameras rolling in Los Angeles as of February 10, 2025. But—and I hate to be the bearer of bad news—you're gonna need to chill until 2026 to watch it. Yep, you heard that right. According to JB Perrette, the big boss of Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming division, we're looking at a 2026 premiere. No specific date yet, so don't hold your breath for a trailer dropping this week or anything.
Why the long wait? Well, it's been a wild ride. The 2023 Hollywood strikes threw a wrench in things, slowing down writing and filming. Plus, the cast is basically a lineup of A-listers now—Zendaya's out here starring in blockbusters, Sydney Sweeney's booking every role in Hollywood, and Jacob Elordi's, well, being Jacob Elordi. Scheduling them all is probably like herding cats. Oh, and let's not forget the heartbreaking loss of Angus Cloud (our beloved Fez) in July 2023, which shook everyone up. On top of that, Sam Levinson, the show's mastermind, is a perfectionist who takes his sweet time crafting each episode. Colman Domingo, aka Ali, spilled that it takes about a month to shoot just one episode because Levinson's so meticulous. So, yeah, 2026 it is. Who is Coming Back in Euphoria Season 3?
The good news? Most of the OGs are returning. HBO confirmed the 'principal cast' is back, so you can expect to see: Zendaya as Rue, obviously, because there's no Euphoria without her.
Hunter Schafer as Jules, hopefully giving us more of that emotional depth.
Jacob Elordi as Nate, still probably stirring up trouble.
Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, ready for more unhinged moments.
Alexa Demie as Maddy, serving looks and attitude.
Maude Apatow as Lexi, the queen of subtle shade.
Eric Dane as Cal Jacobs, who's got some serious explaining to do.
Colman Domingo as Ali, popping in as a guest star to drop wisdom. What to expect in Euphoria Season 3?
Okay, let's get into the juicy stuff. Season 3 is shaking things up with a five-year time jump. That's right—no more high school drama. Our faves are all grown up, navigating their messy 20s. Zendaya teased this back in 2022, saying she was stoked to see where Rue and the gang end up post-graduation. Costume designer Heidi Bivens also confirmed the time jump, so expect some fire new looks (because Euphoria fashion never misses).
Sam Levinson's calling Season 3 a 'film noir' vibe, which sounds super dark and moody—think Rue brooding in a trench coat or something. The focus is on Rue grappling with what it means to stick to her principles in a messed-up world. After everything she went through in Season 2 (that intervention scene still gives me chills), we are rooting for her to find some peace. Zendaya, who's not just starring but also executive producing, hinted she wants a bit of 'happiness and joy' for Rue. Fingers crossed, because our girl deserves a break.

THE PERFORMER | Sarah Jessica Parker More from TVLine And Just Like That EPs Tell All About That Taylor Swift Needle Drop, Why It Was Perfect for Carrie's Big Moment Resident Alien's Alan Tudyk, Corey Reynolds and More Mourn Series' Cancellation, Promise Fans 'Will Still Get a Complete Story' Resident Alien Cancelled, Will End With Season 4 THE SHOW | And Just Like That… THE EPISODE | 'Present Tense' (July 24, 2025) THE PERFORMANCE | Like Carrie said a couple weeks ago, she and Aidan are '20 years in' to their relationship — if you don't count the time they were married to other people — and there's a lot of water under that bridge by now. But this week on HBO Max's sequel series, that water started to flood over, and Parker gave us vintage Carrie Bradshaw, digging deep and finding an inner strength and courage as she stood up for herself and cut things off with Aidan for good. As the episode opened, Carrie noticed that Aidan's old jealousy was coming back as he needled her handsome neighbor Duncan, and Parker's furrowed brow and sour expression spoke volumes, telling us that Carrie's worst fears about Aidan were coming true. She was later stung by Aidan kicking her out of bed for smelling like smoke, but Parker didn't back down, with Carrie bluntly telling him the next morning: 'Aidan, you're worried about me and another man.' It all came to a head when she and Aidan met for lunch, with Carrie picking up on the fact that Aidan said he 'has' trust issues, not 'had.' She stood her ground, frustration gathering in Parker's voice as Carrie told Aidan, 'I have done nothing!' (When he excused his trust issues with 'Well, can you f—king blame me?' she fired back: 'Can you stop f—king blaming me?') She finally realized they had to call it quits, with Carrie sadly declaring: 'I can't give you any more than I have, and it wasn't enough.' In a way, it was a callback to Carrie's best moments on Sex and the City, like when she told off Big after he got engaged to Natasha. ('I don't get it.' 'And you never did.') And it was exhilarating to see Carrie take control of her future once again, a Taylor Swift song playing as she headed back out onto the New York City streets to meet her girlfriends. Parker tapped into the untamed spirit that made us fall in love with Carrie Bradshaw in the first place — and showed us that her story is far from over. Scroll down to see who got Honorable Mention shout-outs this week… HONORABLE MENTION: Anson Mount As Enterprise captain Christopher Pike on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Anson Mount has always looked the part of the dashing action hero, and he filled that role admirably this week as Pike and M'Benga beamed down to a hostile planet overrun by zombies to retrieve a rare flower. But the reason why they needed that flower — to try to save the life of Pike's Gorn-infected girlfriend Marie — added a poignant emotional layer to Pike's actions, with Mount infusing a palpable edge of anxiety into Pike's reckless drive to complete the mission. Then when Pike reunited with Marie on the ship, Mount showed more vulnerability than we're used to seeing from a Starfleet captain as Pike confessed how scared he is about Marie's fate. It's nice to see a Star Trek captain save the day, of course… but we're also happy to see Mount delve into what's truly important to this captain. — D.N. HONORABLE MENTION: Ebony Obsidian As any Sistas fan can attest, Karen's pregnancy has been a wild ride for everyone involved. Not only has it lasted more than five seasons, but what began as a simple 'who's the daddy?' mystery eventually gave way to a soap-tastic 'twins from two different fathers' scenario. And up until now, we've all enjoyed watching the saga unfold, relishing each ridiculous twist and turn. But there was nothing to enjoy about Wednesday's episode, save for the incredible performance delivered by Ebony Obsidian at her character's darkest hour yet. It was devastating enough watching Karen struggle to have her concerns taken seriously by her racist doctor, but the actual moment she learned that one of her twins had died will haunt us for quite some time. Obsidian was given the incredible task of portraying an expectant mother's absolute worst nightmare — from the initial haze of confusion and disbelief, to the sudden wave of insurmountable grief — and she fully rose to the occasion, finding new ways to break our hearts in each scene. Karen may be historically prone to dramatic outbursts, but we've never seen Obsidian forced to give so much of herself, and we're grateful for her sacrifice. — Andy Swift HONORABLE MENTION: Corey Reynolds Corey Reynolds has been a delight throughout Resident Alien's four-season run playing Patience's leading alien skeptic Sheriff Mike. But ever since Mike started to believe, the actor has soared even higher with stellar one-liner deliveries and the flaunting of his character's egotistical bravado around town. In Friday's episode, all of that and more took center stage after Mike and Liv finally learned that Harry was, in fact, the town's 'resident alien.' Reynolds had us in stitches as Mike attempted to purposely sweat out pheromones, compared his own 'delicious' qualities to a baked potato (with the works!) and entered into the silliest of stare-downs with Harry. Reynolds has always served up excellent comedic timing, but watching him go toe-to-toe with Alan Tudyk raised the stakes even higher and brought the brightest of smiles to our faces. — Nick Caruso Which performance(s) knocked your socks off this week? Colin Cowherd Makes Expensive Purchase Thanks To Sydney Sweeney

Colin Cowherd Makes Expensive Purchase Thanks To Sydney Sweeney originally appeared on The Spun. Sydney Sweeney has been trending on social media ever since her new collaboration with American Eagle Outfitters. In fact, she even managed to get Colin Cowherd's attention. On Thursday, American Eagle's shares increased by over 4% after the company announced its partnership with Sweeney. In an effort to promote its fall campaign, American Eagle had the "Euphoria" actress wear nothing but a denim jacket. There's also a brief clip of her opening the hood of a vintage Mustang GT350 while wearing American Eagles jeans. "There is something so effortless about American Eagle – it's the perfect balance of being put-together but still feeling like yourself," Sweeney said. "Their commitment to creating pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin is something that resonates with me. It's rare to find a brand that grows with you, the way American Eagle has for generations. They have literally been there with me through every version of myself." This ad showing Sweeney enter a Mustang GT350 had millions of views in just 24 hours because of Sweeney's popularity. Clearly, Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd watched this advertisement. He claims it inspired him to buy a Mustang GT350. "I just purchased a GT 350," Cowherd wrote on X this Friday. "I don't think anyone realizes how effective Sydney Sweeney is." Does this mean Cowherd is a fan of Sweeney's work as an actress? We're not sure, but she's certainly keeping herself busy. Sweeney will portray boxing legend Christy Martin in a movie that'll premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. "This story is so much bigger than just a film," Sweeney said. "It's a testament to resilience, survival, and finding the strength to keep fighting. I can't wait for you all to see it—not only because I'm proud of the transformation and the work I've poured into it, but because Christy's story deserves to be told. And yes, you'll get to see me kick some serious ass (like seriously kicked some ass) ((like I might've enjoyed it a little toooooo much while kicking ass haha)), but most importantly, you'll witness a story that's as powerful as the woman who lived it. I'll carry this experience with me forever. Can't wait to share more." Maybe, just maybe, Cowherd will check out Sweeney's upcoming Cowherd Makes Expensive Purchase Thanks To Sydney Sweeney first appeared on The Spun on Jul 25, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 25, 2025, where it first appeared. ‘Billy Joel: And So It Goes:' 5 Takeaways From the Film's Conclusion

The second part of the sprawling documentary 'Billy Joel: And So It Goes' ends before the musician's recent announcement that he has the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus. That is to say, if you're looking for an update on Joel's health, the film by Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin, which HBO aired on Friday night (and is streaming on HBO Max), does not provide one. But Joel, in a podcast interview with Bill Maher earlier this week, is seen playing the piano. 'It's not fixed,' he said of his condition, but it's 'being worked on,' and he assured fans: 'I feel good.' 'They keep referring to what I have as a brain disorder, so it sounds a lot worse than what I'm feeling,' he added, likening the sensation to being on a boat with poor balance. While the first half of the film, which premiered in June at the Tribeca Festival, focused on the little-told story of how Joel's relationship with his first wife, Elizabeth Weber, shaped the early days of his career, the second covers more familiar territory. Starting with the production of 'The Nylon Curtain' in 1982, it chronicles his much discussed marriages to Christie Brinkley and Katie Lee Biegel, his well-documented struggles with alcohol, the betrayal of his manager Frank Weber, his decision to retire from the road and eventual return to live performance following the '12-12-12' benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy relief. And still, the nearly two-and-a-half-hour exploration of his life and career makes time to delve into his complicated relationship with his father, Howard, as well as his retreat from producing new pop music and the influence of classical compositions on his work. Here are five takeaways. The Holocaust looms large in Joel's family history. Joel's Jewish identity comes into play heavily during the second part of the documentary, specifically with regard to his fraught relationship with his father, Howard Joel. He describes how in his mid-20s he discovered that his paternal grandfather, Karl Joel, had a textile factory in Nuremberg. The family lived next to the park where the Nuremberg rallies were held and Joel speculates about the trauma his father must have endured watching those unfold as a young Jewish boy. Joel's grandfather was targeted by Nazi propaganda newspaper Der Stürmer and was forced to sell his business, though he was never paid. The Joels escaped Germany over the Swiss border and the factory was ultimately used to manufacture the striped uniforms for prisoners in concentration camps. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
