Indian Bank Recruitment 2025: Indian Bank has released an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of two Office Assistant posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline, and the last date to submit the completed application form is July 16, 2025.
Indian Bank Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be between 22 to 40 years of age and should hold a graduate degree in BSW, BA, or B.Com. Basic computer knowledge is mandatory, and preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of basic accounting. Prior experience working as an Office Assistant will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written local language, and while not mandatory, fluency in English is desirable. Additionally, applicants should be proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel), Tally, and internet usage. Typing skills in the local language are essential, and the ability to type in English is an added advantage. Given the nature of the job, which may involve travel or field visits, having a valid driving license is preferable.
Indian Bank Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a written test to evaluate general knowledge and computer skills, followed by a personal interview to assess the candidate's communication skills, leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, attitude, and ability to interact effectively with trainees.
Indian Bank Recruitment 2025: Contract Period
According to the official notification, the selected candidate will be engaged on a contractual basis for three years, with performance subject to annual review and contract renewal. The engagement will automatically end upon the expiry of the contract period, although Indian Bank reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time if the candidate's performance or conduct is found unsatisfactory or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the Trust.

A parent, whose daughter is in the third year of MBBS and willing to pursue PG abroad, said, "We are confused regarding her admission for PG, whether it should be done from India or abroad. The money factor is huge, but we are very keen on taking specialised training in universities abroad." Deoras guided the parent regarding the specific query and stated that PG admissions in India would also cost around Rs 30 to 40 lakh. If the applications are made to universities with proper guidance and advance planning, the PG programme abroad was possible. City hosts final of multi-school spelling competition
1 2 Kolkata: The grand finale of the 12th edition of the National Spell-A-Thon Olympiads was held at Gokhale Memorial School for Girls on Sunday. The competition saw participation from over 85 schools and 55,000 students across the country. The event was mentored by IIM Bangalore. The Spell-A-Thon was not just about difficult words and spelling challenges; it also quizzed students between Kindergarten and Class 12 on the basics of English grammar, words and their applications, comprehension exercises, puzzles, and word games. The grand finale also featured an element of a subjective writing skills test. Class XI admissions: First merit list out; cut-offs rise
Kolhapur: The first merit list for Std XI admissions in Kolhapur district's junior colleges was announced on Saturday, with 21,000 students securing a spot. This year marks the first time the admission process is being conducted at the state level. Kolhapur district boasts around 66,000 seats across 285 junior colleges. Of the 44,000 students who registered for admissions, the majority showed a preference for colleges located within Kolhapur city. The cut-offs for Commerce (English-medium) have seen an increase this year. For instance, DRK College of Commerce, which offers 240 seats in this stream, saw its cut-off rise from 91% last year to 92.40%. Similarly, Vivekanand College's cut-off went up from 86% to 86.40%, and D D Shinde College of Commerce's cut-off increased from 83.20% to 85.20%. For Science, the cut-off for Vivekanand College has slightly dipped from 92% to 91.80%. For Rajaram College, it increased from 90.40% to 91.80%, and for New College, it increased from 91.00% to 91.60%. Students who made it to the cut-off list are advised to secure admission before July 7. "On July 9, the vacancies will be declared before the second round starts. There will be a total of four rounds of the admission process," a senior official of the education department said.
