Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub revealed that his friendship with Swara Bhaskar was so strong that people often assumed they were married.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Swara Bhaskar share a close friendship, often mistaken for a romantic relationship due to their strong bond. The duo first shared screen space in Raanjhanaa, playing childhood friends, and have since been close to each other.
But their friendship extends beyond the screen, and it continues to draw attention. From engaging in poetry to lending their voices to social causes, Swara and Zeeshan have frequently been seen together.
The actor sat for an interview with an entertainment portal recently and opened up about his enduring friendship with Swara Bhaskar, a bond so strong that it has often led people to assume they are a married couple.
In a conversation with Filmygyan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub revealed with a laugh, 'Itne logo ko ye lagta tha ki jaise we are married. Mere aur Swara ke rishte ke bare me apko batata hu. Itni confusion hai hamari logo ko lkar. Do log agar dikhte ki ye dost hai, do logo ko dekhkar bhai, itne logo ko ye lagta tha ki jaise we are married. Hmlog kai jagh pe dikhe. Matlab hmlogo ne kai cheezein ek dusre ki share kari, hmlog politically same sochte hai, to kayi baar hmlog kisi protest me dikh gaye, kabhi kisi aur cheez me dikh gaye. Toh, I think hmara na wo kabhi khatam nhi hua. (So many people felt as if we were married. I am telling you about the relationship between Swara and me. There is so much confusion about us. If two people see that they are friends, after seeing us, many people feel as if we are married. We were seen at many places. We shared many things with each other; we think politically alike, so many times we were seen in some protest, sometimes in some other thing. So I think that it never ended for us.")

He went on to say, 'Ek point ke baad Swara se batchit thori kam ho gayi. Log bhi woh baat karte hai ki aisa kyu lagta logo ko, kyuki hamari dosti ekdm hi mar pitai wali hai. Jo Raanjhanaa me thi wahi wali. Exactly, waise hi hai, ki maar diya, koni maar di. Boht pyari dosti hai. (After a certain point, the conversation with Swara reduced a bit. People also talk about why people feel this way, because our friendship is definitely a fun friendship. The same kind that was there in Raanjhanaa. It is exactly like that, where they beat each other and hit elbows. It is a very lovely friendship.")
The actor was last seen in Pankaj Tripathi's Criminal Justice Season 4. Up next, he is all set to star in the series Nyaya, produced by Sameer Nair and Applause Entertainment. The series will also star Saiyaara's Aneet Padda, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma.

Last Updated: Recently, the makers released the first Aavan Jaavan from War 2. The song has been getting immense love from audience Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani have been grabbing attention with their first song Aavan Jaavan from War 2. Amid this, a new video of the actor grooving to the peppy track at a recent event in Sri Lanka has gone viral. The film, also starring Jr NTR, is all set for release on August 14. In the video, shared by Filmygyan, we can see Hrithik looking effortlessly stylish as he joins in on the dance floor during the event. He pulled off some spontaneous moves to Aavan Jaavan, much to the crowd's excitement. The audience erupted in cheers. Many dropped heart emojis. Watch the video here: Recently, the makers released the first Aavan Jaavan from the film. Unveiled on Kiara Advani's birthday, the song 'Aavan Jaavan' is a sultry, slow-burn anthem sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi, composed by Pritam. It showcases Hrithik and Kiara in their most intimate and carefree avatars yet—lounging by the pool, exchanging intense glances, and embracing the tropical heat with poolside passion. Kiara, radiant in a yellow bikini and off-shoulder set, shares electric screen space with Hrithik, who plays it suave and intense. Their simmering chemistry, combined with breathtaking visuals from Tuscany and Rome, makes the song a lush romantic escape. But the real storm brews in the War 2 trailer, which expands the YRF Spy Universe with unmatched ambition. Hrithik returns as the enigmatic Kabir, who vows to sacrifice everything—his identity, home, and loved ones—to become a shadow in service of a greater cause. Enter Jr NTR, making a fiery Bollywood debut with the line: 'Main un jungon mein ladta hoon jahan ladne ki himmat koi nahi karta." The stage is set for an epic collision of two titans. The trailer is packed with explosive action, high-speed chases, and emotional intensity. One surprising twist? Kiara Advani isn't just arm candy—she's seen landing powerful kicks and confronting Kabir head-on, firmly establishing her role as a dynamic force in the narrative. While romance blossoms between Hrithik and Kiara, it's undercut by Kabir's haunting voiceover: 'Main sab kuchh chhod doonga… sabko." Together, the trailer and song tease a story that is both intimate and epic—a spy thriller laced with sacrifice, love, and redemption. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 isn't just a sequel—it's a cornerstone of the YRF Spy Universe, which now includes Pathaan and Tiger 3, and is rumoured to segue into the upcoming Alpha starring Alia Bhatt. view comments First Published: August 03, 2025, 11:35 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
