Brooklyn Beckham locked in trademark war with Becks just weeks after family feud is laid bare

BROOKYLN Beckham has another row brewing with a Becks — but this time it's not his famous father.
The eldest son of David and Victoria wants to expand his hot sauce brand so applied to trademark 'Becks Buns' in the US.

But the company that makes Beck's beer is set to challenge it.
It comes after the Beckham family feud was blown open last month when Brooklyn, 26, missed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations.
A source said: 'It's one thing after another for Brooklyn.
"First his row with his dad blows up — and now he's got another Beck's looking like it's going to become a bit of a headache.'
Brooklyn applied in January to use the name 'Becks Buns' within his Buster Hot Sauce Inc company.
However, the beer's German parent firm Brauerei Beck & Co has opposed it and been granted an extension until next month to file documents.
The company is part of alcohol giant AB InBev, which produces one in four lagers sold worldwide, including Stella Artois and Budweiser as well as Beck's.
Brooklyn launched his first hot sauce, Cloud 23, last year and said: 'It's been a passion project of mine for the last 2½ years, something I've literally put everything into. I've never worked so hard on anything in my life.'
His parents attended the launch event in LA.
However, insiders said their relationship has ' never been more fractured '.
Those close to Brooklyn — who is married to US actress Nicola Peltz, 30 — insist he made a private attempt to meet his dad ahead of his 50th.
But that was vehemently denied by sources close to the former England captain.
It was also claimed Nicola, who has been accused of 'controlling' her husband, had hired a PR guru.
Those close to her believe she is being 'unfairly blamed' for the issues.
KICK? NO HE'LL EDIT
FOOTIE icon David Beckham is to guest edit Country Life mag in October.
Editor-in-chief Mark Hedges said: 'David told me he reads every issue from cover to cover.'
David, who lives in a £12million manor in Oxfordshire, said: 'I am really looking forward to working with the team to produce an issue that will celebrate the countryside.'
Mr Hedges said the October edition will feature David's 'favourite view and his best-loved recipe'.

Late night hosts react to Stephen Colbert's show being cancelled and one profanely blasts CBS

A number of late night hosts have shared their reactions after CBS announced the cancellation of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Colbert's, 61, show, which launched in 2015, will conclude in May 2026, executives with the network and Paramount, its new parent company, announced on Thursday. Following the news, Jimmy Kimmel, 57 — who hosts ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! — blasted CBS via his Instagram Stories. Kimmel reposted a clip of Colbert's announcement to his Instagram story with the caption: 'Love you Stephen. F**k you and all your Sheldons CBS.' It's unclear what exactly Kimmel was referencing, though it likely pertains to CBS's The Big Bang Theory franchise, which includes the spin-offs Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. Kimmel and Colbert famously banded together during the writers' strike for a podcast supporting their striking staffs. They've also appeared on each other's shows and joint events, such as their memorable bit at the 2019 Emmy Awards. Late night talk show host Andy Cohen, 57, also weighed in on the news, sharing he was 'stunned.' 'I can't believe CBS is turning off the lights at 11:30 after the local news. I'm stunned. He's one of three late-night shows deemed worthy enough for an Emmy nomination. He produces a brilliant show,' he told Deadline. 'I think it's a sad day for late-night television. I think it's a sad day for CBS. I think Stephen Colbert is a singular talent. He's going to have an incredible next chapter.' Cohen added that he 'worked at CBS when Letterman came to CBS' helping make the network 'a powerhouse in late-night television, so it's sad. I spent 10 years at CBS. It's sad for CBS, really.' Cohen hosts Bravo's late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live. The show was recently renewed through 2027. Other late night hosts including Jimmy Fallon, who helms NBC's The Tonight Show, and Seth Meyers of Late Night with Seth Meyers (also on NBC), have yet to weigh in. Colbert's show was cancelled just days after the host blasted the network's $16 million settlement with President Trump as a 'big fat bribe.' 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season,' the network said in a statement. Other late night hosts including Jimmy Fallon (L), who helms NBC's The Tonight Show, and Seth Meyers (R) of Late Night with Seth Meyers (also on NBC), have yet to weigh in 'We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire the Late Show franchise at that time,' the executives continued. 'We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and his broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television.' The network explained that the decision to cancel the show is 'purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night.' 'It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,' it added. But the announcement comes just days after Colbert slammed the network for settling the president's lawsuit for $16 million - with some now questioning whether the cancelation may be political retaliation. 'If Paramount and CBS ended the Late Show for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better,' California Sen. Adam Schiff - who is set to appear on Thursday night's episode - posted on X. Trump had accused the network of falsely editing an interview with then-presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Although the network didn't admit to any journalistic wrongdoing, the massive settlement will cover Trump's legal fees and his future presidential library. Paramount also agreed to release unedited transcripts of 60 Minutes interviews with presidential candidates. Colbert didn't hesitate to take shots at his parent corporation, confessing in his opening monologue on Wednesday's episode that he was 'offended' by the actions of his employer. The late night host called the lawsuit against CBS a 'nuisance,' and claimed that Paramount could've 'easily fought it' - citing the company's own words calling the allegations 'completely without merit.' 'And keep in mind Paramount produced Transformers: Rise of the Beast. They know "completely without merit,"' Colbert joked, poking fun at the Paramount+ film that bombed at the box office. Colbert then cited a phony statement, joking that the network said, 'You may take our money, but you will never take our dignity. 'You may, however, purchase our dignity for the low, low, price of $16 million. We need the cash.' The comedian went on to argue that the settlement was a 'big, fat, bribe,' in light of the company's $8.4 billion merger with Skydance, which will need approval from the Trump administration. The late night host also cited an article from Puck, that claimed the merger could 'put pressure' on him to ease up on Trump criticisms. The owner of Skydance, David Ellison, has expressed his desire to have a more neutral tone on politics. His father, Larry Ellison, is also a major Trump supporter who joined the president at the White House in January for the unveiling of a project called Stargate. It is now believed the elder Ellison is providing the $8 billion for the CBS deal, according to the New York Times. But Colbert brushed off the gossip on his show Wednesday, joking that his new mustache will make it impossible for the new executives to find and put pressure on him. Just one day later, though, Colbert announced the cancelation of his program. 'Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending the Late Show in May,' he told audience members, who responded to the news with emphatic 'boos.' 'It's not just the end of our show, but it's the end of the Late Show on CBS,' he continued. 'I'm not being replaced, this is all just going away,' Colbert added, telling the audience he was just grateful to be given the opportunity to host the long-running show.

Stephen Colbert announces end date to his late-night show

Stephen Colbert, host of ' The Late Show,' has announced the program will end in May 2026. CBS has said it will retire the franchise, citing a 'financial decision'. Colbert broke the news to his studio audience during Thursday night's taping: 'I want to let you know something I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending The Late Show in May.' The news of the show's cancellation was met with boos of disappointment from the audience and fans. 'Yeah! I share your feelings. It's not just the end of our show, but it's the end of the late show on CBS. I'm not being replaced. This is all just going away,' Colbert added. Paramount recently agreed to pay President Trump $16 million to settle a lawsuit over an interview on '60 Minutes', a move Colbert referred to as 'a big fat bribe', made to get the Trump administration's approval for a merger.

Hailey Bieber reveals the toll that stress has put on her body amid husband Justin's money issues

Hailey Bieber has gotten candid about the toll that stress had had on her body amid her husband Justin's money issues. The Rhode founder, 28 - who recently responded to rumors that Justin will use her Rhode millions to pay Scooter Braun - jumped to her Instagram stories on Thursday to open up about her health. The mom-of-one revealed that she has been suffering from a 'perioral dermatitis flare' and uploaded a close-up selfie to show redness around her chin. She further explained, 'Always flares up when I'm traveling a lot, sleep deprived, hormones, the wrong SPF, new products, stress.' In a separate slide, Hailey shared the 'minimal' steps she takes to help combat a flare up. Alongside another selfie that had a filter, she added, 'What I use when I have a flare: so minimal. rinse my face with water, prescription Azelaic, Hypochlorous acid, Clindamycin, Glazing Milk.' The last item on the list is a product from her skincare line Rhode - which she sold to E.l.f. Cosmetics back in May for $1 billion. Hailey's new posts come shortly after her husband Justin dropped his seventh studio album Swag last week. The model has voiced her support for the Peaches hitmaker by clapping back at haters over his new music and also seemingly made a thinly-veiled dig at Justin's ex-manager Scooter Braun. The record executive offered a rave review of the LP - not long after the pair finally reached a settlement agreement that will reportedly cost Bieber over $30million, according to TMZ. A source recently told People that Hailey 'was by Justin's side for the whole creation of the album.' The insider added, 'Everyone knows Justin as a star and a performer. They now get to know the artist that Hailey has known all these years.' After Justin parted ways from Braun, the music artist was able to 'run his own show' when it came to creating Swag. 'Hailey supported Justin to follow his artistic instincts. She helped him to trust himself and do what Justin knew he wanted to do as an artist.' Also on Thursday, a rep for Hailey debunked the rumor that Justin was holding off on settling his financial dispute with his former manager until Hailey's Rhode deal was closed and fully funded. 'The historic sale of Rhode is a huge accomplishment for Hailey and is completely separate from her husband and his business affairs,' Hailey's rep revealed to The clarification comes after TMZ reported that Justin would not have 'the cash to repay' his loan to Hybe or the millions in back commissions to Braun until Hailey's Rhode money came in. After Bieber cancelled his Justice tour in 2022, Braun's company HYBE America helped the singer pay back $26million of the original $40million advance he received from AEG. Last week, TMZ reported that Bieber had allegedly agreed to pay back the money over a 10-year period but allegedly stopped making payments to HYBE after the first installment. Braun also previously claimed that Bieber - who announced a new album on Thursday - owed him several million dollars in unpaid commissions. After years of back-and-forth, insiders told TMZ that Bieber will finally make good on his debts as the pair's settlement terms call for him to pay back the entire $26million. In a win for Bieber, the Grammy-winner will only have to pay Braun half of the $11million in unpaid commissions he allegedly owes him. has reached out to representatives for both Bieber and Braun for comment. After years of back-and-forth, insiders told TMZ that Bieber will finally make good on his debts as the pair's settlement terms call for him to pay back the entire $26million; Braun and Bieber seen in 2020 The settlement news comes less than a month after TMZ claimed that Bieber was in the midst of negotiating the terms of a settlement with Braun and that the details would likely be fully hashed out within a matter of weeks. Back in May, the outlet revealed the alleged results of an independent audit performed by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) that was commissioned by Braun's entertainment company, Hybe America. The investigation, which lasted for six months, culminated in April with the determination that Bieber allegedly owed Braun $8,806,000. Although Bieber's team didn't publicly dispute the results of the PwC audit, they announced that they had conducted their own audit of his business dealings with Braun. However, they didn't share how its results compared to the independent audit. Despite the determination of Bieber's alleged debts from a third party, Braun was reportedly willing to forgive the $8 million entirely. However, TMZ's sources claimed there were still two major stumbling blocks in the way of an agreement between the two. Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) had given Bieber an impressive $40 million advance for his Justice World Tour, which commenced in February 2022, after it was twice postponed - from 2020, and then 2021 - due to the coronavirus pandemic. After it finally got under way, Bieber ending up cancelling 14 concerts scheduled for June and July 2022 when he suffered temporary facial paralysis as a result of Ramsay Hunt syndrome. He resumed touring for a short stint from late April 2022 through early September 2022 in Europe, the Nordic countries and Brazil, before canceling the remainder of the tour. In response to the cancellation, AEG reportedly tried to claw back $24 million of Bieber's original advance, but Braun's company Hybe agreed to step in and front the money for the repayment. In response, Bieber was allegedly required to pay back Hybe in installments spread out over 10 years, but he allegedly stopped paying after just a single installment. Sources claimed that the advance repayment was a major sticking point for Braun, and they alleged that Bieber has finally agreed to repay the amount. According to them, after his wife Hailey's profit from the $1billion sale of her cosmetics company Rhode, Justin was finally willing to settle up. Ironically, Hailey's loved ones previously told that they feared that Justin would 'take advantage of her kindness' and use the payout to cover his massive debts. However, a prominent LA-based divorce attorney recently explained to how Justin could end up walking away with half of Hailey's Rhode money if they should divorce, as they reportedly never signed a prenuptial agreement. Another reported requirement from Braun is that Bieber pay back $11 million he allegedly owes from commissions that were never paid, which was outside the scope of the PwC audit. However, TMZ's sources say Braun is willing to settle the debt for 'pennies on the dollar,' which could be a major break for Bieber.
