Where is Patrick Kielty's ex Amanda Byram now?

Years before the comedian's marriage and subsequent separation, Patrick dated another TV star, Amanda Byram.
While the details of their former relationship are sparse, it's understood that the pair first met all the way back in 1999 when Amanda joined TV3 to host Ireland AM.

In the 2000s, Amanda made the big move to the US to pursue opportunities in American television, presenting programmes such as The Swan and Paradise Hotel.

In 2017, she became the host of Dancing with the Stars back in Ireland, but did not return to the show in 2019 due to personal and professional commitments between London and LA.
Amanda met her TV producer husband, Julian Okines, in 2014, and the pair announced their engagement the following year.
The couple met just before Amanda was heading on a trip to Italy with her mum.
Speaking about Julian to the Irish Independent in 2017, Amanda said: 'At this stage, I was single for a solid year, it was three years in total, but one year since I touched a man. I said to my mum, 'I met this cute guy and we really hit it off. Will I ask him to come to Italy with me? Is he going to think I'm too full on?' Pic: Instagram/Amanda Byram
'And he said it was one of the things made him fall for me. There was no b******t, he said, 'you weren't wrapped in your own head.'
She added: 'That was really it, then our relationship blossomed. I was in a place where I knew if it doesn't work out, so what?
'Prior to that, I cared so much about what if what if I messed it up, but because of what I'd been through, I was so comfortable with myself and my decisions. It's truly why we've lasted the test of time.'
Amanda and Julian welcomed their first baby boy, Phoenix Blaze Byram Okines, in November 2021, when Amanda was 48.
The TV star kept the pregnancy a secret until announcing the birth on social media.
In February this year, Amanda announced that they are now a family of four following the birth of their son Jett Indy Byram Okines. View this post on Instagram

Announcing the joyous news on Instagram, she wrote: 'Jett's recent arrival was quite the surprise – as my wonderfully low key pregnancy was suddenly interrupted when my waters broke a month early… and 36 hours later, my second little man powered into our lives like he had been here forever!!
'We know that we are beyond lucky to have a second miracle in our lives, and feel so grateful to all the magnificent doctors and nurses who aided us in our IVF journey.'
She added: 'It was long, exhausting, and utterly devastating at times, but I wouldn't change a single thing given that it all led me here to my two incredible boys… one my heart and the other my soul. Pic: Instagram/Amanda Byram
'I hope sharing this can be a source of inspiration for those parents in-waiting… I know the odds are against us but it can happen!!'
Speaking to You Magazine, Amanda hit out at nasty comments she had received about having children later in life.
She said: 'People assumed I had chosen to delay motherhood for my career. The truth? It took me 41 years to meet someone I truly wanted to build a life with… I might be here for decades to come or I might not. What I can control is the love I give and the lessons I pass down.'
In January, Amanda announced that the family had purchased their dream home in London, but that it 'requires a complete renovation top to bottom'.
She has since been sharing regular updates on the project on social media.

Toni Laites and Cacherel "Cach" Mercer win Love Island
Toni Laites and Cacherel "Cach" Mercer have been crowned the winners of Love Island 2025 and have walked away with the grand prize of £50,000 (€56,830). Host Maya Jama revealed the winning couple for season 12 of the reality dating show during Monday night's live final. In second place were an American bombshell and professional dancer beat Shakira Khan, 22, from Burnley, and footballer Harry Cooksley, 30, who came second. Electrical engineer Jamie Rhodes, 26, came third with commercial banking executive Yasmin Pettet, 24, while Angel Swift, a 26-year-old aesthetics practitioner who entered the villa as a bombshell, came in fourth place with site engineer Ty Isherwood, 23. Toni embraced Cach before she thanked the British public for voting for them. Prior to the reveal Toni confirmed that Cach told her he loved her the night before – and that she had said it back. Earlier in the episode the Love Island couples exchanged emotional words to one another. Toni, who was visibly emotional when making her speech, told Cach: "I don't think I tell you enough, but the way you treat me has made this whole wacky ass experience worth it. "I think everyone has seen how happy you've made me, and I feel like a different person. I'm just really thankful to be here with you. "I don't think anyone's ever treated me as good as you do so thank you. You make me feel like a queen." Cach replied: "I'm proud of you. You're gonna make me cry. You're so unapologetically yourself. It makes it so easy for you to operate the way I operate. "I feel like our journey has been a roller coaster. I'm grateful for every moment. "I don't think I could have done it with anybody else, to be honest with you, and I appreciate you." Shakira told Harry that he was "everything" she could want in a partner. She added: "It's been an amazing last week and I'm excited for the future." Harry replied and said: "People say days are like weeks in here, but it really felt like I've known you a lifetime, and I'm so excited for the future, and I'll make so much time for you on the outside. "My priorities have definitely shifted. You are my priority in life right now, so long may that continue." Yasmin told Jamie that he became her "sense of calm". "I don't tell you enough, but I'm so genuinely appreciative of you and everything you've done for me in here because my journey would be so, so shit without you," she added. Jamie replied: "Every day, I get a feeling of wanting to be around you more and more and knowing that this journey is coming to an end, that we won't be able to spend every second with each other, it's gonna make me really miss this place, but I know that on the outside world, we've got some great things coming." Angel recalled having a "spark" with Ty from the very beginning, adding that he is "so thoughtful". She said: "I can't wait for outside life with you. I literally couldn't be happier." Ty replied: "I want to thank you and the Love Island gods for sending you in. "I kind of didn't know where I was, and kind of lost myself a bit. I couldn't find my feet and I feel like you came at the perfect time." Previous Love Island winners have included Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti (Season 8), Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer (Season 4), Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies (Season 3), who have since split up. Couples who, despite not winning, remain together include Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen (Season 2), Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury (Season 5) and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack (Season 8).

How many people are set to trot to RDS for the Dublin Horse Show?
More than 120,000 people are set to flock to the RDS for the Dublin Horse Show, which kicks off tomorrow. While 1,800 horses and ponies, and their riders, battle it out in the historic D4 arena for more than €1.4million in prize money, the crowds will be enjoying the view, the shopping and the hospitality. The show, which brings in around €50 million to the Irish and local economy, runs from tomorrow until Sunday and costs over €7 million to stage. It has come a long way from the first ever Dublin Horse Show in 1864, which attracted 366 entries for a total prize fund of £520. More than 120,000 people are set to flock to the RDS for the Dublin Horse Show, which kicks off tomorrow. Pic: Getty Images It is estimated that 40,000 ice cream cones will be consumed, along with 35,000 glasses of wine, 40,000 pints and 15,000 coffees. Approximately 40,000 flowers of 20 different varieties will decorate the 43 acres of the D4 showgrounds, while 7,600 bales of shavings and 4,200 bales of hay have been brought in for the horses. Those with their eye on the style may be tempted to enter Thursday's best dressed competition, with €10,000 in cash up for grabs for the chosen fashionista. Poretti has sponsored the lucrative top prize for the best-dressed person, while the runner-up will receive two nights' bed and breakfast at the five-star Morrison Dublin hotel, plus two nights' B&B at The Trafalgar St James Hotel in London and a €100 travel voucher. Entrants can register online now, with co-judge Bairbre Power advising them to focus on the three Cs – colour, comfort and confidence. In the show ring, over 168 national and international competitions will be held, including the prestigious Aga Khan Nations Cup on Friday, the Defender Puissance on Saturday and the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday. The RDS Concert Hall has an exhibition detailing 150 years of Dublin Horse Show history, while the grounds are packed with food and drink options, ranging from seafood and champagne to the Swing Grill and churros. The Bray-based Festina Lente charity returns for its second year to showcase the transformative benefits of equine therapy and its impact on society. The event will also feature its own 'Pop-Up Gaeltacht', showcasing the rich heritage of the Irish language. Meanwhile, Spanish horseman Santi Serra will return to the RDS with his unique and breathtaking equestrian entertainment in the main ring. Born into a family that breeds Arabian horses in Spain, Serra is an exceptional exponent of 'natural dressage' and first performed at the RDS with no tack in 2016. The trade stands are traditionally one of the biggest draws to the show, and the setting-up was in full swing yesterday, with more than 350 exhibitors.

Love Island star caught snubbing finalist and ‘ignoring' her during live final – but did you spot it?
AN ex Love Islander appeared to brutally snub one of the show's finalists during the show's live episode. During the final, all of the former Islanders made one last comeback to the villa to watch the champion be crowned. 4 Love Island fans noticed that one ex Islander appeared to snub Yasmin Credit: Eroteme 4 Helena could be seen chatting away as she failed to listen to Yasmin's interview In a surprising result, fan-favourites Yasmin and Jamie found themselves finishing in third place being beaten by Shakira and Harry in second place and eventual winners, Toni and Cach. However, one former Islander appeared to totally dismiss Yasmin and Jamie as they could be seen chatting away throughout the couple's interview with host Maya Jama. Helena appeared distracted as she 'ignored' what Yasmin had to say and instead caught up with fourth place star Angel in full view of the cameras. Each time the shot focused on Maya, Helena could be seen speaking to her co-star as she failed to listen in to what Yasmin had to say. Noticing their antics online, one fan questioned: "What is Helena and Angel talking about." Before someone else echoed: "All I could see behind Maya was angel and Helena chatting away the whole time during yaz and Jamie's interview." It added further fuel to the fire about the long-standing girls divide this year. Helena had failed to see eye-to-eye with Yasmin, Shakira or Toni during her time in the villa as two rival girl groups quickly emerged. Along with Meg and Megan, Helena had clashes with the other three villa girls throughout but it seemed they had the last laugh when they made up the top three spots. After weeks of coupling up, dumpings, texts and triangles, the series came to a close with a battle between Toni & Cach, Shakira Khan & Harry Cooksley, Angel Swift & Ty Isherwood and Yasmin Pettet & Jamie Rhodes. Watch Love Island's Harrison roll his eyes and fake clap after ex Toni makes savage dig about him in live final However, it was the show's first American bombshell Toni and dancer Cach who got the most votes from fans after their rollercoaster journey on the show. Thrilled fans praised the result, with one saying: "I actually feel like I've won the World Cup. This is actually everything to me! "Seeing Megan and Dejon dumped, Angel fourth place, Yas, Shakira and Toni top 3, Toni and Cach win. Suddenly life is feeling real again." Someone else added: "Toni got the last laugh. A win and a nice man to take home. Bet Harrison is gutted. Karma is a b***h." Another added: "Toni being American and winning, iconic!!! And thank you Cach for being so amazing and loving. Well deserved." 4 Every time the camera cut to Maya she could be seen in deep conversation
