Win the Chance to Play The Beatport x SceneNoise Stage at Aegis 2025
This is your chance to showcase your skills at one of the region's most exciting festivals.
Jun 16, 2025
Whether you are a rising DJ dreaming of your festival debut or an established selector looking to expand your regional footprint, this is your chance to showcase your skills at one of the region's most exciting festivals. SceneNoise has teamed up with Beatport Live to curate a new stage at Lebanon's Aegis Festival, taking place on the hilltops of Arnaoon Village from July 11th to July 13th, opening the door for four lucky DJs to perform at the festival.
Four winners will get to snag a full hour opening set at SceneNoise x Beatport Live stage on July 11th or July 12th, sharing the decks with a roster of brilliant regional selectors. On top of that, the winners will get three-day festival passes for themselves AND a friend (because great moments are better shared), plus bragging rights that'll last way longer than your hangover.
To enter the competition, all you have to do is submit your best mix and fill out the form on aegisfestival.beatport.com before June 29th. Your mix could be the soundtrack to someone's festival highlight reel. It could be the set that gets people talking, dancing, and demanding to know "who was that opener?". To be eligible, you must be based in Lebanon or able to travel there. Travel and accommodation is not included.
Winners will be announced on July 3rd. May the odds be ever in your favour.

Select 340: Mixed by MSIYAN
With fast-paced techno, trance ecstasy, and a whole lot of emotional drive, Iranian-born DJ and producer MSIYAN takes over SceneNoise Select 334. Jun 28, 2025 This week's Select mix comes straight from a high-voltage night where MSIYAN played alongside I Hate Models, an evening that carved itself into the memory of everyone in the room. Born Mahsa Asiyan, the Iranian DJ and producer has become known for her euphoric yet tightly controlled sound, navigating fast techno and trance with a groove-heavy sensibility that hits the chest before it hits the floor. MSIYAN's mix is a peak-time trip that wastes no time. Clocking in with high BPMs and emotionally charged transitions, this live set delivers the kind of energy that floods your bloodstream. It's music that moves fast but lands heavy, full of body-shaking rhythms, hands-up moments, and flashes of pure, joyful release. 'I've been holding onto this one for a bit,' MSIYAN tells SceneNoise. 'Now it's finally time to share it. Hope you feel it as much as I did.' Listeners can expect big tracks from the likes of Marlon Hoffstadt (with his standout 'Hotline Bling' edit), Caiva & Julian Muller's 'Vigour', and MSIYAN's own selection of crowd-shakers like Skapier's 'Seb's Hands Up' and Swart's 'Hypnosis'. Every transition in the mix feels like a charged decision, balancing trance ecstasy with dancefloor urgency. Listen to the full set below. SceneNoise · Select 341: Mixed by Mahsa Asiyan

Select 339: Mixed by Vegie
Vegie blurs genres in this fast-paced, bass-heavy mix, drawing from UK club chaos, lo-fi textures, and raw emotion to deliver a fearless, high-intensity session. Jun 21, 2025 In this edition of Select, we spotlight Vegie, a genre-blurring DJ whose curiosity and obsession with sound have made him one to watch in the region's leftfield scene. Known for his fearless blends and emotional unpredictability, his sets pull from bass-heavy UK club cuts, lo-fi rhythms, and dancefloor catharsis. Vegie's musical journey started in his early teens, experimenting with mashups on a dusty family desktop. With a hand-me-down mixer passed from his father, also a DJ, he began digging through genres with an obsessive edge, developing a sound that refuses to stay in one place for too long. For this SceneNoise mix, Vegie delivers a heavy, rhythm-charged session packed with sharp percussion, sub-loaded grooves, and a relentless underground energy. It's a fast, fun, and raw listen, an honest snapshot of the tracks currently driving his sets. You'll hear sounds straight from the UK's most experimental corners, including standout tracks like 'Things Let Down' by Yami, 'Voltage 3000' by Tamlin, and 'Life Sketch' by 3X & Aleph. Gawdat, Delrady & Lily Farid Drop Tech House Hit ‘Love Machine'
Debuted at Paris Fashion Week, 'Love Machine' blends tech house with nostalgia and live vocals from opera talent Lily Farid. Jun 16, 2025 Egypt's electronic scene welcomes a standout collaboration as Gawdat, Delrady, and Lily Farid come together for 'Love Machine', a tech house track with groove, soul, and global flair. Out now via DancIN' Music Records, the release fuses nostalgia with future-forward energy, and is already making waves after debuting at Paris Fashion Week 2025. Known for their 90s-infused live sets, Gawdat brings bounce and bassline swagger, while Delrady injects a cutting edge drawn from over a decade of production experience. At the centre of it all is Lily Farid, a mezzo-soprano with operatic range, lending a bold, emotive layer that transcends the usual club formula. ''Love Machine' sets a unique vibe every time, it's one of our favorite releases this year,' Gawdat tells SceneNoise. 'It just hits different.' The track is as much a collab as it is a convergence of Cairo's rising and diverse electronic scene - a cross-genre blend of house music, vocal elegance, and live show spirit.
