Central Bank of Egypt unveils $1.60bln T-bills, floating-rate note on Sunday

Cairo – The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) valued at EGP 80 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 29 June, according to official data.
The first auctions stood at EGP 35 billion and will mature in 182 days on 30 December 2025.
The second issue was valued at EGP 45 billion, holding a tenor of 364 days until 30 June 2026.
Additionally, the CBE offered floating-rate treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 500 million through one issue, which carries a five-year maturity period until 1 July 2030.
Last week, the central bank auctioned T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 90 billion through two offerings.

The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has unveiled gold and silver commemorative coins to honour the legacies of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It will embody their role in the founding of the Union, and reinforce national identity and loyalty among the local community. The gold coin with a 40mm diameter will feature the faces of the two leaders on one side, and the UAE national emblem with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates inscribed around it in Arabic and English. It will weigh 40 gm and will be available for purchase exclusively through the Central Bank's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The silver coin will feature the same design in a 50 mm diameter, alongside the phrase "Commemorative Coin" in Arabic. It will weigh 50 grams and will be available for purchase via the Central Bank's official website. It will be valued at AED 100.

Cairo: Crédit Agricole Egypt Foundation, the social development arm of the bank, has unveiled its new brand identity reflecting the foundation's activities aiming to achieve positive social impact and foster sustainable development since its establishment in 2017. The new logo is inspired by a blooming four-petal flower, symbolizing the four main strategic pillars of the foundation: Education, Health, Social Entrepreneurship and Environment & Community Development. Through strategic collaborations with leading organizations, the foundation supports the development and implementation of projects that align with its core strategy. Under Education, the foundation empowers young Egyptians through skill-development initiatives such as vocational trainings as well as talents grooming programs in art, science and technology. In the realm of Health, CAE Foundation provides access to healthcare for underserved children through medical convoys and tailored outreach efforts. Applying Social Entrepreneurship programs, the foundation enables women and youth by offering small business management and technical trainings as well as seed funding to start micro-projects for sustainable income. While on the Environment & Community Development front and in order to provide decent living conditions in rural areas, projects providing solar-powered agricultural and waste management solutions were launched in Delta region and several water networks were extended in Upper Egypt.
