Live Nation's $30 concert tickets promo ending soon: How to get tickets
The Live Nation $30 Ticket to Summer encompasses concerts including Def Leppard, Shania Twain, Wiz Khalifa, Keith Urban, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Avril Lavigne, Kesha, Halsey, Earth, Wind and Fire and others, but the promotion is ending soon.
A full list of participating concerts can be found at livenation.com/tickettosummer. Fans can select a show, look for the tickets labeled "$30 Ticket to Summer" and proceed to checkout. Searches can be filtered by event, artist, venue and location, as well as other participating shows nearby.
The promotion ends Tuesday, July 22.

Lego's August Releases Are Going Merry
Lego usually has quiet months and big months in terms of releases, but by far and away the two most important times of the year for Lego—and most threatening for your wallet as a Lego fan—are the start of it in January and the height of summer in August. The latter is finally here, and Lego has a lot of options for if you want to beat the heat by staying inside and building bricks. A lot of options. With dozens upon dozens upon dozens of new sets arriving today, it's hard to really break down particular highlights, with almost every major Lego line getting at least a couple of releases, alongside stalwarts like Marvel and Star Wars getting massive new waves. There are even a few entirely new lines making their debut amid the mania too, like the highly anticipated arrival of Lego One Piece, inspired by the Netflix adaptation. Check out all those, and more, in our roundup of the most interesting sets arriving this month! Lego has a few Technic sets out this month, but the standout in our genre-nerd eyes has to be this amazing rover set, inspired by the fabled Lego Space line. The kit comes with a primary moon rover, as well as smaller builds for a mining rover and MAPP rover, and some moon rocks they can collect into a sample container. ($100, available here). The multibuild creator sets are always an opportunity to sneak in some nods to other Lego lines, and August's offerings include a pretty fun new Lego Castle set for any medieval fantasy fans (introducing a new faction) and a cutie-spooky Monster Fighters homage in the Haunted Mansion. But then, consider this! There is also Beautiful Horse. Its beauty is, perhaps, in the eye of the beholder. Inspired by the first season of the Netflix live-action adaptation of the seminal anime and manga, Lego is going all out for the debut of One Piece as a line, right in time for the excitement around season two. From small sets to massive adult-focused kits like the Baratie, there's something for every fan of the show here—but of course the highlight has to be the Going Merry, which comes with the complete (up to this point in the series) Straw Hat crew in one place. Speaking of Netflix shows gearing up for season two! Just in time for the first volume of Wednesday's return to hit the streamer next week, Lego has concocted a buildable black dahlia flower, complete with minidolls of Wednesday and Professor Thornhill. ($28, available here). It's a big Spider-Man wave for Lego Marvel in August, but there are some more Avenging sets around, like sets inspired by Iron Man 2 and Endgame. That doesn't stop the webslinger from taking the prize, though, in the form of a subway train set inspired by the classic one Lego released for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. The Mario line has been on a bit of a karting kick lately, and August is no exception. But not every set is about that kart life: we get a couple of fun Toad buildable sets, including one inspired by Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The first Decepticon to join the Lego Transformers line, Soundwave can transform between robot and cassette player mode and comes with buildable (and similarly transforming) Ravage and Laserbeak minions that can sit in his tape deck. He even plays sounds from a special brick built into his torso unit! ($190, available here) Away from the glow of the movie release, things are back to normal for Lego Minecraft, which offers a special piece of gaming advice this month: maybe don't build your house out of TNT. It's a very big and very expensive month for Star Wars fans with an eclectic mix of sets on offer—from a tease of the next Lego Star Wars animated adventure to a new UCS AT-ST and even some buildable characters in the form of K-2SO and Wicket. This cute gaming model replicates a classic arcade machine, which in itself hides a little gamer cave for the included minifigure to hang out in. ($40, available here). There are still a few more villagers and locales Nintendo and Lego can add to your islands this month, including Blathers' museum! Metal Sonic strikes in the handful of Sonic sets we get this month, which splits Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails across two different villainous battles. Cultural reappraisals aside, one thing that's always been beloved about Batman Forever is its slick Batmobile, which Lego is wonderfully recreating in this new display model—complete with a minifigure Batman inspired by the film's Sonar Batsuit. Stevie Nicks reveals shoulder injury will keep her off the road for two months
A recent injury will keep Stevie Nicks off the road for two months. The singer, 77, fractured her shoulder and "will require recovery time," Live Nation said in an Aug. 1 press release and statement posted on Nicks' social media accounts. As a result, nine of her upcoming concerts have been rescheduled. The shows impacted are: Detroit; Saint Paul, Minnesota; Toronto; Brooklyn, New York; Boston; Cincinnati; Columbia, South Carolina; Tampa, Florida; and Hollywood, Florida. 'Buckingham Nicks' was not the Fleetwood Mac reunion we hoped for The former Fleetwood Mac singer is scheduled to return to the stage with her Oct. 1 show at Portland's MODA Center. The news comes on the heels of the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee revealing she and former flame Lindsey Buckingham will rerelease their 1973 album "Buckingham Nicks." DC Fans Point Out Potential Plot Hole In ‘Superman'
James Gunn's Superman has officially kicked off the DC Universe. The new big screen adaptation of the popular superhero stars David Corenswet as the titular character – while Nicholas Hoult plays his nemesis, Lex Luthor. While the film has been well-received by most fans and critics, there are some DC fans who have pointed out a potential plot hole in Superman . For those who've seen the film, we're introduced to Superman's Fortress of Solitude quite early on, a home base for the character ran by androids and numerous secrets regarding the character's history. This is why Lex Luthor and his team including The Engineer make their way to the fortress in an effort to find any dirt they can on Superman. It just so happens that The Engineer locates a video of Superman's parents, one that was damaged upon arrival to Earth, and the second portion is corrupted. The Engineer manages to fix this portion of the footage and discovers that Superman's biological parents weren't as friendly as he believed. This sets up a large portion of the film in which Superman must clear his name while also coming to terms with the fact that his parents didn't have the best interests regarding humanity as he so believed. Eventually, he comes to choose his adoptive parents over them, and the end of the film plays footage of him growing up in Kansas. Now, as you can see below, this is where fans have pointed out the potential plot hole. 'I just realized she hacked the Fortress of Solitude,' one fan writes on X, referring to The Engineer, 'but just missed the whole home video of Clark's upbringing.' Fortunately, for whatever reason she doesn't, and Superman's secret identity remains a secret – at least to most. Another fan does suggest this isn't a plot hole for Superman because the videos of his adoptive parents might've only been uploaded after most of the movie takes place, thus the footage wasn't available to begin with for The Engineer to see: It obviously hadn't been uploaded yet. That's kinda the point of the movie. Superman replaced the footage of his Kryptonian parents with his earth parents because they were morally good people who he loved more. — swam (@whitepilld) July 29, 2025 If so, it's not really a plot hole, but it does create another potential security risk for a sequel. Especially if they decide to once again break into Superman's fortress. Perhaps we'll see that come into play at some point, or at least see Superman's answer to keep out any other trespassers.
