Napoli follow Miretti but have two other priorities

Yahoo4 days ago
Napoli are indeed admirers of Juventus-owned midfielder Fabio Miretti, but currently have two other priorities: Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Dan Ndoye.
Napoli have been following Juventus midfielder for weeks, but currently, the Italian midfielder is not a priority target for the Partenopei.
Why Miretti is not a priority for Napoli

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter confirm to me that the current Partenopei priorities are deals for Torino goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic and Bologna winger Ndoye.
The Partenopei have recently made an offer close to €40m, including add-ons, for the Swiss winger who has prioritised a move to the Stadio Maradona over Nottingham Forest.
Vergara may leave Napoli if Miretti arrives

Napoli will only consider an offer for Miretti in the coming days, if not weeks, and his possible move to the Stadio Maradona would cast doubt on Antonio Vergara's future. The 22-year-old has received offers from other clubs, and the defending Serie A champions will consider his future over the next few weeks.
Miretti, 21, has returned to Juventus after a one-season loan spell at Genoa, where he scored three goals and provided three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Manchester United Urged To Move In For This Brighton Midfielder: What Will He Bring To Old Trafford?

In a recent segment on Youtube, Rio Ferdinand urged his former club Manchester United to move in for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba. Ferdinand said, 'If I don't get a striker, I'd go midfield. There's only one name I'm thinking about, I've got to be honest, who I think fits the bill for what we need… 'An Amorim-type player as well. Physically great, can drive with the ball, can take it in all areas, very good tactically, great energy, great legs, Premier League experience, centre midfield. Baleba. 'That's who I go and get. That's my man. That's the one I go and get. I go and break the bank.' Baleba's Recent Season In The Premier League Baleba managed to shine for the Seagulls in the previous campaign and did well to put in a handful of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The Cameroonian frontman played in 40 matches for Brighton last season, scoring four goals and grabbing a couple of assists across multiple competitions. The 21-year-old was a decent contributor at the centre of the park as he averaged 1.49 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. However, he only kept 25% of his attempts on target. Baleba was tidy when distributing possession in the opponent's half, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 87.4% in the English first division (stats via BRIGHTON, ENGLAND – APRIL 12: Carlos Baleba of Brighton and Hove Albion during the Premier League match between Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Leicester City FC at Amex Stadium on April 12, 2025 in Brighton, England. (Photo by) What Will Baleba Bring To Manchester United? Baleba is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team in the middle of the park. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a good passer of the ball. However, the Cameroonian sensation needs to find a way to improve his productivity going forward. Baleba has got some experience in the Premier League under his belt and would be a real asset for the Red Devils if Ruben Amorim can devise a way to snap him up this off-season. Baleba would bring more bite and steel to Man United's midfield department. He would serve as a great long-term successor to Casemiro at the Mancunian club. Thus, it makes sense for the Red Devils to listen to Ferdinand's advice by securing Baleba's services in this summer transfer window.

Roma keen on Jonathan Rowe

Roma continues to work on the transfer market to find new offensive reinforcements. After the arrivals of El Aynaoui, Ferguson, Wesley, and the imminent arrival of Ghilardi, the Giallorossi club shows no signs of slowing down. Gian Piero Gasperini has reportedly requested a further alternative in attack, specifically a second striker to partner Paulo Dybala, Matías Soulé, and Tommaso Baldanzi. According to the latest name on Frederic Massara's list is Jonathan Rowe, a young attacking winger born in 2003 currently playing for Marseille. The Englishman, coming off a season with three goals and three assists in 28 Ligue 1 appearances, has also made an impact at international level, contributing a goal to England's victory at the Under-21 European Championship. Marseille values Rowe at around €20 million. Premier League clubs such as Leeds and Bournemouth are also interested in the left-back, as well as Atalanta, who could become interested if Lookman's transfer were to materialize.

Agent Enzo Raiola Predicts Teenage Inter Milan Defender ‘Ready To Play With The Senior Team This Season'

Agent Enzo Raiola believes teenage defender Matteo Cocchi is ready to play with the Inter Milan senior team next season. Raiola spoke with Italian outlet about Coacchi's future. He gave his outlook on the 18-year-old's future and even the possibility of a departure on loan. Young Inter Milan defender Matteo Cocchi is a player with his future in the balance this summer. The 18-year-old enjoyed a breakout season with the Nerazzurri's Primavera, or Under-20, side. Therefore, it seems as though Cocchi is ready to take the next step. He will be playing senior football next season. Where that will be, however, is the big question. There will be no shortage of opportunities. Cocchi could play for Inter's Under-23 team next season. The Nerazzurri are setting the team up in order to give exactly that kind of opportunity to players from their youth academy. However, on the other hand, it could also be possible that Cocchi goes out on loan next season. (Photo by) Matteo Cocchi's agent Enzo Raiola commented that 'I've always received praise for Matteo from the Inter management.' 'He's certainly a young player with the potential to make a name for himself in the first team this season,' the agent added. 'Particularly considering Chivu coached him in the Primavera team. And therefore already knows him very well.' 'However, we're evaluating his situation,' said Raiola. 'I think he's ready to play with the 'big boys.'' 'Inter have an Under-23 team now,' he noted. 'I want to try to understand whether the right choice is for him to stay or not.' 'If there are better options for him to play at, we'll definitely evaluate them.'
