Farmer Wants A Wife: Are Thomas and Clarette still together?

Daily Mail10-06-2025
Farmer Thomas came to the end of his emotional quest to find love on Monday's finale of Farmer Wants A Wife.
The South Australian wheat, barley, and lentil farmer declared his feelings for school teacher Clarette, both 35.
As previously revealed by Daily Mail Australia, the couple are still together, and going strong.
Clarette packed up her bags and relocated to Kimba to live with Farmer Thomas on his farm earlier this year.
She is currently working at a local school teaching secondary English.

After realising that Clarette was The One, Thomas asked to speak with Rachael and Jess separately to tell them that Clarette had won his heart.
Both ladies wished him well before leaving the farm together.
Making his boldest move yet, Thomas left a handwritten note asking Clarette to meet him at sunset for an important conversation.
Their journey has been rife with drama, and the 13th episode saw Thomas make a dramatic comeback to the show just 24 hours after blindsiding his ladies by abruptly storming off the farm follow a spat with Clarette.
Clarette was left reeling from their argument and had felt betrayed after discovering he'd been messaging his ex, Claire, despite insisting their connection was over.
Thomas was quick to shut down any lingering doubts.
'I mean it, I swear. The contact's deleted. No contact at all,' he insisted.
His emotional plea seemed to work, with Clarette accepting his apology before the pair sealed their reconciliation with a passionate kiss.
It comes after the fate of Thomas and Clarette after they finished filming was revealed.
Despite some major mid-season hiccups and walkouts, have reportedly patched things up and are still very much together.
'It was rocky, especially after the whole honesty box disaster, but Thomas realised Clarette was the one,' a production source told Daily Mail Australia.
'They've been trying to make long-distance work and are discussing next steps.'

Robert Irwin's shock new gig as he becomes the face of latest campaign

Robert Irwin has been unveiled as the face of Tourism Australia's latest international campaign. The 20-year-old celebrity conservationist leads a $130million global marketing blitz aimed at tempting travellers to experience the natural beauty of Australia. The campaign specifically targets American and Chinese audiences, with stunning shots of Robert set against iconic Australian landscapes. Tourism Australia has shared a three-minute ad on YouTube which captures an enthusiastic-looking Robert driving an American tourist through the outback. Packed with plenty of 'G'day mates' - and even a nod to the classic 'throw a shrimp on the barbie' catchphrase - the ad kicks off with a comical scene. It depicts a lost American tourist stranded in the desert without his phone, only to be rescued by Robert behind the wheel of a 4WD. 'G'day mate, just going for a stroll?' Robert asks the sunburnt traveller, who is crawling on his hands and knees. 'An emu took my phone,' the tourist replies, to which Robert helpfully says, 'Well, we better go find it,' as the pair set off across the sand dunes in search of the bird. Tourism Minister Don Farrell said the 'Come and Say G'day' campaign was building on a winning formula. 'I know this iteration, featuring popular talent like Robert Irwin, will be a smash,' he said in a statement. The campaign also features British TV chef Nigella Lawson, Chinese actor Yosh Yu and Japanese comedian Abareru-kun. It is set to be rolled out across TV and digital platforms in five key international markets - with each celebrity starring in ads tailored to their home country. It comes at a time when international travel is surging, with visitor numbers expected to hit 10 million by 2026 and 11.8 million by 2029. Tourism remains one of the nation's biggest economic drivers, supporting more than 700,000 jobs and 360,000 businesses. Tourism Australia has shared a three-minute ad on YouTube which captures an enthusiastic-looking Robert driving an American tourist through the outback. An ad teaser was first unveiled in July during Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's visit to China, with more set to go live on Thursday in the Chinese market. It comes one year after Robert joined forces with his fellow Aussie icon Bluey to be the face of a special campaign for Tourism and Events Queensland. The conservationist fronted a $9.2million international tourism campaign designed to bring more visitors into the state. In a promotional video for the campaign, Robert asks viewers: 'Ever wish you could live in Bluey's world? Well, that's all of Queensland!' He was then seen launching a red balloon into the air to begin a round of 'keepy uppy', the fun Bluey game where characters try to keep a balloon off the ground. The footage then cut to the balloon floating across some iconic QLD sights, including the Great Barrier Reef, the outback and the Gold Coast. The marketing campaign was a collaboration between Tourism and Events Queensland and BBC Studios in the UK.

New Golden Bachelor Bear Myrden addresses wild rumours he prefers YOUNGER women as he is seen getting cosy with brunette at the Logies before show even airs

He may not have handed out a single rose yet, but Australia's new Golden Bachelor Bear Myrden is already raising eyebrows. The silver fox made his Logies red carpet debut on Sunday night, turning heads as he posed arm-in-arm with a glamorous brunette beauty. Dressed in a sharp tuxedo, Bear, whose season of The Golden Bachelor is weeks away from its premiere, looked dashing alongside the show's Supervising Executive producer, Vanessa Oxlad. The duo appeared close and comfortable as they smiled for cameras. Meanwhile, Bear was quick to shut down any speculation he's eyeing women outside the show, addressing wild rumours circulating online that he prefers younger women. 'That's rumours,' he told Daily Mail on the carpet. Bear insisted he was excited about the journey ahead, admitting it all felt 'very surreal'. 'You are our next Golden Bachelor,' he was reminded. 'Yes, I am,' he smiled. 'You're on the Logies red carpet. This is very exciting.' When asked about his date, Samantha Armytage, who is the host of the Channel Nine spin-off, Bear laughed off other rumours there was on-set chemistry between the pair. 'I thought your date tonight was Sam. Where is she?' he was asked. 'She's busier than I am,' he replied. The heartthrob also teased what's to come this season, promising viewers a heartfelt, emotional journey. When asked about his date, Samantha Armytage, who is the host of the Channel Nine spin off, Bear laughed off other rumours there was on-set chemistry between the pair 'All I can say is it was very difficult having to get rid of any of them. They were all beautiful, intelligent, fun. It is one of the toughest things I've ever had to do,' he said of the women. And while he's been spotted filming in glamorous locations - including a James Bond–style moment on a yacht - Bear revealed he hasn't taken much from set. 'Just a few things, yeah. The wardrobe was sensational,' he said. He revealed the sleek tux he wore on the night was his own, quipping: 'This is mine. Very schmick.' Despite all the attention, Bear admitted he was still getting used to his new reality TV fame. 'This is my first red carpet too,' he confessed. 'So I'm a bit of a rookie. We're in this together.'

Channel Seven star Abbey Holmes enlists surprising reality star as her nanny as she gets trolled for going back to work seven weeks after giving birth

Channel Seven star Abbey Holmes was recently slammed for returning to work seven weeks after giving birth to her first child. But the footy presenter ignored the haters and enlisted the help of a popular Married At First Sight star as she attended the 2025 Logie Awards on Sunday. Abbey shared an elevator selfie to Instagram as she arrived to The Darling hotel with her newborn son Brax and reality star Rhi Disljenkovic. 'Aunty Rhi Rhi arrived to help with Braxxy during the Logies,' she wrote. The following day, Abbey shared another selfie of the friends and baby Brax checking out of the hotel ahead of their flight back to Melbourne. Rhi also sang a song to the newborn in the car on the way to the airport. Abbey and her husband, former Hawthorn and Gold Coast player Keegan Brooksby, welcomed their first baby, Brax, on June 6. The Channel Seven presenter confirmed to fans that she'd be returning to work on July 25, in time for Essendon's Round 20 clash against the Western Bulldogs. Abbey took to Instagram to post a video of Dale Thomas and Matthew Richardson, captioning the post 'OK guys, we're baaaaack.' The footy presenter has been working two days a week as she enjoys her life as a new mum, and revealed that her decision to return to footy was based on how well Brax was doing. 'I think that if he didn't take a bottle or was really unsettled and only slept on me, or whatever it might have been, then I certainly would have been hamstrung and certainly not come back seven weeks after having him,' she told Seven. While many sent congratulations and well wishes to Holmes after she revealed she was returning to work, some comments branded her 'selfish'. One commenter wrote, 'Seven weeks. How about look after the tiny bundle of joy and watch them grow.' Another added, 'In child care at our expense no doubt.' In response, the Abbey hit back at the comments, explaining why she was so keen to get in front of the camera again. 'I think my work for me, it's so important. I genuinely love what I do. It doesn't feel like work in any way, shape or form,' she said. 'There's certainly a small minority of people out there that feel that they have the right to tell you what you should be doing and how things are to be done, which is never the case.' She also blasted those who had criticised her husband, Keegan, who she dubbed a 'super dad'. '[Someone said:] "Oh dad's on babysitting duty". I'm sorry, but dads don't babysit their own children, they're 50 per cent of the parenting duo,' she said. 'That's one thing that really gets to me.' Holmes also appeared at the Logie Awards on Sunday night and looked radiant, as she took to the red carpet wearing a sparkling grey gown.
