Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios full fight card, odds, start time, how to watch Pacquiao's return
Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios goes down Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Manny Pacquiao makes his in-ring return this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, competing in a professional boxing bout for the first time in nearly four years when he challenges Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight championship. If he wins, Pacquiao, 46, will become the second-oldest major world champion in boxing history — and the oldest to ever do so in a division lighter than boxing's light heavyweight division. Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) retired in late 2021 following a decision loss to Yordenis Ugas, though he's boxed two exhibition bouts against South Korean internet personality DK Yoo and former champion kickboxer Rukiya Anpo in the years since. A living legend who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame just this year, Pacquiao is the only boxer to ever lace up the gloves to win world titles in eight different weight divisions. He also holds the distinction of being the only boxer to capture or retain world titles across four different decades, having done so in the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s Advertisement Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) captured the WBC interim title with a win over Ugas in 2023. He defended it twice in 2024, first with a decision over Fabian Maidana and then with a split draw against Abel Ramos on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard this past November. At age 30, Barrios will be 16 years Pacquiao's junior on fight night. Speaking recently to Uncrowned, Barrios vowed that he'll be 'comfortable with pulling the trigger' on Pacquiao and hunting for a knockout against the legendary former champ, despite the vast age gap. 'Manny has been doing this his whole life and understands what it takes to go in there,' Barrios said. 'And he's trying to be great. He's trying to do something, fighting for a title at his age — and as a fighter, I have nothing but respect for that. Advertisement 'I know if at any point he has me hurt, then there's no question [he'd pull the trigger on me]. So, it's not personal. It's just business.' The Pacquiao vs. Barrios pay-per-view kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday on Prime Video PPV, with main event ring walks expected around 11 p.m. ET. Pacquiao (+270) is a significant betting underdog to Barrios (-380) on BetMGM. The full Pacquiao vs. Barrios fight card can be seen below.

Premier League club Brentford to sell stake at £400m valuation
The owner of Brentford Football Club has clinched a deal to sell a minority stake in the Premier League side to new investors at a valuation of roughly £400m. Sky News has learnt that an agreement that will involve current owner Matthew Benham offloading a chunk of his holding to Gary Lubner - the wealthy businessman who ran Autoglass-owner Belron - is expected to be announced as early as Tuesday. Matthew Vaughn, the Hollywood film-maker whose credits include Layer Cake and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, is also expected to invest in Brentford as part of the deal, The Athletic reported last month. Further details of the transaction were unclear on Monday night, although one insider speculated that it could ultimately see as much as 25% of the club changing hands. If confirmed, it would underline the continuing interest from wealthy investors in top-flight English clubs. FA Cup winners Crystal Palace have seen a minority stake being bought by Woody Johnson, the New York Jets-owner, in the last few weeks, with that deal hastened by the implications of former shareholder John Textor's simultaneous ownership of a stake in French club Lyon. Sky News revealed in February 2024 that Mr Benham had hired bankers at Rothschild to market a stake in Brentford. Under Mr Benham's stewardship, it has enjoyed one of the most successful transformations in English football, rising from the lower divisions to the top division in 2021. It has also moved from its long-standing Griffin Park home to a new stadium near Kew Bridge. This summer is proving to be one of transition, with manager Thomas Frank joining Tottenham Hotspur and striker Bryan Mbeumo the subject of persistent interest from Manchester United. Brentford did not respond to a request for comment on Monday night, while a spokesman for Mr Lubner declined to comment.

Gregg Wallace's ‘MasterChef' Co-Host John Torode Reveals Himself To Be Person Accused Of Using Racist Language
John Torode, Gregg Wallace's MasterChef co-presenter, has revealed himself to be the person accused of using racist language in the report published today into Wallace's behavior. Taking to Instagram, Torode said 'for the sake of transparency I can confirm that I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion.' More from Deadline BBC Shelves L.A. Wildfires Documentary From 'Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone' Director Jamie Roberts UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy Cools Attacks On BBC, Praising "Big Strides" In Gripping Crises BBC Says Individuals Were Present At Glastonbury Who Had "Authority" To Cut Bob Vylan Feed Torode, who along with Wallace has presented MasterChef for 20 years, said the incident is alleged to have happened in 2018 or 2019, but he has 'absolutely no recollection of this and I do not believe that it happened.' 'However I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment,' he added. 'I'm shocked and saddened by the allegations as I would never wish to cause anyone offence.' Torode came forward around 12 hours after the independent report published into Wallace's behavior, which substantiated 45 of the 83 allegations made against Wallace, whose position hosting MasterChef was described as 'untenable' by the boss of MasterChef production company Banijay UK. Wallace has apologized but reiterated his view that 'none of the serious allegations against me were upheld.' Aside from Wallace, the report said 10 standalone allegations were made against other people over the period 2012 to 2019, with two of these having been substantiated, one of whom Torode is now revealing to be himself. The other was over a complaint of 'swearing' and Banijay has said it is dealing with both. In its own statement, the BBC said it 'takes these findings very seriously and we have asked Banijay UK to take action to address these issues, which is underway. This will be completed as a priority.' Torode struck up a close relationship with Wallace over their two decades presenting MasterChef. When allegations against Wallace first emerged late last year, Torode said he found them 'truly upsetting.'
