'My head has been all over the place': Anne-Marie has suffered with postnatal depression
The 34-year-old singer welcomed her second child, a boy, with husband Slowthai in May and explained that her mental health was severely affected in a candid Instagram post.
Anne-Marie - who also has daughter Seven, 17 months, with her rapper husband – wrote on the social media site: "This is the most 'me' I've felt in a long time. My head has been all over the place. I've been pregnant and breastfeeding for over 2 years.
"My hormones are mental and I've only just started feeling okay. I've been through a lot.
"My body has been through a lot. It's so hard but I guess cliche to say IT IS worth it. For someone who doesn't like routines I've had to become the person who lives in one. With naps and feeding and meal times. But I'm through it, still going through it but I feel I've come out of the hole.
"I battled with postnatal depression and postnatal anxiety, and therapy (yet again) and the people around me pulled me through it. Now I'm back. I'm strong and I'm excited. My blond hair is back.
"My body is kinda back. I just have to stop eating chocolate now and saying 'the baby wants it' hahahaha damn."
The Ciao Adios singer concluded her post by suggesting that she could soon be making a return to performing.
Anne-Marie penned: "Anyway, this caption is too long but just wanted to let you know. My mind is finally seeing clear again. Yay. I have 2 beautiful babies. Now it's time to tour again hahaha. Okay maybe not yet but soon."
The Rockabye hitmaker was touring just two weeks before Seven was born last year and confessed that she "weed herself on stage" during her pregnancy.
Anne-Marie said: "It was the most beautiful thing, but it was definitely hard.
"I think I weed myself on stage a couple of times."
Despite the difficulties, the singer was desperate to keep on performing until as close as possible to her daughter's birth.
She said: "Yeah, I don't know how I did it. I weirdly had it in my head that I wanted to go against everything that everyone says about pregnant women.
"Most people stay at home because their ankles and back hurt and I just went, 'F*** that - I am not doing that.'
"I made it my mission to be able to do everything I normally do while pregnant and I managed to do that up until two weeks before when I was like, 'Get the f****** thing out of me.'"

Sylvanian Families embroiled in TikTok drama legal row
Sylvanian Families are at the centre of a legal battle with a TikTok creator. The beloved toys feature in videos from the Sylvanian Drama TikTok account, in which they are featured acting out adult sketches involving alcohol, drugs, cheating violence and murder but the Japanese manufacturer has taken exception to the social media content. Epoch Company Ltd have filed a copyright infringement case in the United States claiming that the videos are causing "irreparable injury" to the company's reputation. Thea Von Engelbrechten – the owner of the TikTok account that has amassed 2.5 million followers – has filed a counternotice claiming that her works are "parody". Sylvanian Families are sold as "an adorable range of distinctive animal characters with charming and beautiful homes, furniture and accessories". The toys, which have names like Freya the Chocolate Rabbit girl and Pino the Latte Cat baby, typically have wholesome adventures but the TikTok account features the toys with captions such as "My marriage is falling apart" and "My boyfriend won't post me on Instagram". Court documents filed by Epoch earlier this month with the Southern District of New York accuse Von Engelbrechten of infringing the firm's copyright without permission, causing irreparable injury to its goodwill and reputation. It states that Von Engelbrechten, who hails from Ireland, said her inspiration for the Sylvanian Drama storylines are from "cringey TV shows and early 2000s comedy". The TikTok user added: "I'm also really inspired by my cats because they are extremely sassy and self-obsessed and can be so cute, but they also have no morals when it comes to killing other animals. I try to embody that with the Sylvanians." Quizzed on why she thinks the videos are so popular, Von Engelbrechten told Fohr: "Maybe it's because it's coming from the voice of a 22-year-old who struggles with the same things as (they do). "I have a lot of storylines about insecure people, diet culture, toxic men, and sustainability, which I think other girls my age are also thinking a lot about." A pre-trial conference date has been set for August 14, when representatives from both sides will meet to discuss settlement options or to prepare the case for trial.
