In a recent conversation with Just Curious India, the veteran actor revealed that he was subjected to unprofessional treatment after refusing to lower his remuneration for a film. Prakash shared that he would not act under their banner even if they offered him Rs 10 lakh per day. 'Because I wouldn't bend on my rate, but the director wanted me to, they didn't pay me the final chunk of money. On the last day of the shoot, they sent people to my
vanity
van.
Four of them ate, threw meat everywhere, emptied the water, and defecated. It was very hot, and I had to sit outside because it was so stinky,' he revealed.
Prakash Belawadi about the cultured part of Sandalwood
Prakash acknowledged that not everyone in the Kannada film industry behaves in such an 'extreme' manner and shared how he is pampered in other industries. 'There's no contract in a Kannada film—really backward and uncivilised.
If you're a civilised person, your word should be enough. There was a time when Kannada was like that because it's a civilised culture. Most of the producers (who behave like this) aren't Kannadigas.
If you work with the Rajkumar family, that's different—they're very cultured,' he added.

F1 India Box Office: Brad Pitt starrer amazes with a 40 percent growth on Saturday; Nets Rs 12.50 crore in 2 days and set to emerge a HIT

Joseph Krasinski's F1 starring Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon and others, showed a stiff 40 percent growth on its second day at the box office after a superb first day of Rs 5.25 crore. With Rs 7.25 crore net on day 2, the total of F1 stands at Rs 12.50 crore and by the end of the weekend, it should be Rs 20 crore net. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of F1 Are As Under F1 Stands At Rs 12.50 Crore Net After 2 Days In India F1 got a start and the strong word around the film should help it trend well in India, despite competition. The fact that it retains IMAX screens in week 2 as well shall ensure remarkable numbers even when Jurassic World Rebirth hits theatres next week. Final collections in the range of the superhit Final Destination: Bloodlines can't be ruled out strictly by the kind of acceptance that it enjoys. That would also make F1 among the highest grossing original (not part of any IP) movies in the country. F1 Crushes Pre-Release Predictions Rather Comfortably The global numbers of F1 through Friday have come and they are around USD 64.50 million. A global weekend pushing to USD 150 million is what is expected now. The opening weekend projections prior to the release were around USD 100 million and they shall be crushed rather comfortably, now. The movie's high budget won't be easy to recover theatrically. But if F1 manages to cross USD 500 million globally by the end of its run, it will be seen as a good result if not great; especially given the pessimism in the trade because its release is right before giants like Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman. F1's Numbers Show That Brad Pitt Still Has The Ability To Pull Audiences To Theatres With F1, Brad Pitt has shown that he still has it in him as far as getting people to theatres is considered. The next movie the actor works on is a Netflix original. His next theatrical venture is waited for with bated breath. F1 plays in theatres now. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates on F1 and Brad Pitt.

Meet Safira, who will inherit largest share of Sunjay Kapur's Rs 31000 crore fortune, leaving behind Karisma Kapoor and her kids

Prominent industrialist Sunjay Kapur passed away suddenly on June 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest. A week later, Sunjay's mortal remains were brought back to Delhi, where he was laid to rest in a crematorium at Lodhi Road. For the uninitiated, Sunjay Kapur is the ex-husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, and the two shared two kids – Samaira and Kiaan Kapoor. Sunjay Kapur was one of the most well-known businessmen across the globe and had built a business worth Rs 10,300 crore. With a humongous net worth, a question that often arises is: who will inherit the money? Sunjay was married thrice. His first marriage was with Nandita Mahtani, but they parted ways in 2000. Later, in 2003, Kapur married Karisma Kapoor. However, this marriage also did not sustain. They divorced in 2016. A year later, Sunjay Kapur tied the knot with Priya Sachdev, with whom he shared a son. Who Will Inherit Sunjay Kapur's Wealth? According to a media report, Sunjay Kapur's company Sona Comstar had a net worth of Rs 31,000 crore at the time of his death. On the other hand, his personal net worth was Rs 13,000 crore. While the will of the late businessman has not been disclosed, media reports claim that the property and other assets of Sunjay Kapur will be divided among all the dependents. However, a report by One India states that Safira Chatwal will get the largest portion of Sunjay Kapur's wealth. Who is Safira Chatwal? Safira Chatwal is Priya Sachdev's daughter. Priya was previously married to American actor Vikram Chatwal. The two had a daughter, Safira Chatwal. Priya and Vikram's relationship did not work out, and the two parted ways. Further, Safira stayed with Priya, and Sunjay also accepted her as his daughter. Under Indian law, Sunjay adopted Safira as his daughter. With that, she also has the same rights as Sunjay's other children regarding his property and assets. Safira Chatwal, a 19-year-old student at Marlborough College in England, has a keen interest in international relations and contemporary geopolitical issues. Her fascination with these subjects began during her time living in India. She is also the founder of Diplomacy 2030.
