Actress Shireen Mirza, who got married four years ago to Hasan Sartaj, has embraced motherhood for the first time with the arrival of her baby boy. The actress delivered her son on June 9 and is currently in Delhi, spending time with her family as she adjusts to this beautiful new phase.
Sharing her joy, Shireen says, 'He came a little earlier than expected and surprised us all. But from the moment I held him for the first time, I felt a wave of love deeper than anything I've ever known. I feel grateful and beyond blessed. I never imagined I could feel this much love until I became his mom.'
Known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, she is soaking in every moment with her newborn and is candid about the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it.
'Yes, I may be scared sometimes, but I'm taking one day at a time. This mix of emotions is part of the journey — starting full of nervousness and growing into confidence and joy every day,' she reflects.
Shireen has been away from Mumbai to be with her loved ones. She says, 'I'm not in Mumbai at the moment but with my family in Delhi because it's best to be with family in such times.'
With her priorities now revolving around her child, Shireen is in no hurry to return to work. 'My full focus is my child right now, and whatever I can do for him. This new soul has given me utter happiness, and I want to cherish this for now before I get back to work.'
